    Roast and meatloaf!

Food was amazing and the service was awesome! So glad we stopped in! We used to eat at the one in Mesquite years ago.

    A Finished Dr.Pepper.

This is one of my highest recommendations. I ate here around 12 on a Friday when It was the most packed. Even then the noise was not too loud and the diner refused to play obnoxious music. The Staff always give a professional demeanor. I ordered and ate Chicken fingers with Fries and macaroni. Refills for drinks were given constantly by staff The chicken had a good balance between crunchy and soft taste wise. Finished with a pie, and was told at the end of my meal that I was given a discount due to the extra time taken due to the amount of customers. All in all a 5/5 Experience and I would recommend.

    Leaked green beans

Ordered Uber Eats delivery. Food is great but there was a cold salad packed in the bag with hot food, The burger and fries containers were smashed, there was a missing squash casserole and that meal had the green bean juice all leaked out. Wish they would NOT try to put 3 meals in one small bag!

    Denver omelette
    Santanu S.

Years ago, I would frequent the Dallas location when I had errands in Dallas. I attempted to visit this location previously, but they are closed on Sundays. Back then, I would always order the Denver omelette and I did just that. The omelette had plenty of onions, bell peppers and ham. I prefer when the cheese is within the omelette rather than on top of it. Not many places offer orange marmalade, so I took advantage of topping all four pieces of toast with it. Although there was a large sign on the wall advertising the various pies, I assume no one orders one for breakfast. The waitress dropped off the check without asking if I wanted anything else, such as, coffee to go. Also, the check only had the total amount rather than the pre-tax and post-tax totals.

I never leave this place unhappy. It is authentic southern cooking. We especially love the breakfast. My fav is biscuits and gravy.

This night they had an espresso old fashioned which I have to admit was pretty good though wasn't sure when I ordered. Also have a chicken pot pie. The pie came out in a bowl and rather than a crusty bottom it came with a puff pastry atop. It worked though had uneven flavor throughout and slightly dry chicken. My wife thought it was perfect....LOL... to each their own. They do have a porch so perhaps in the spring weather time it will be a nice spot to get comfy with a drink. It is more a sports-themed bar with several large televisions and a large big screen in the center. Have Kenson make you an oatmeal cookie and you'll be pleasantly surprised. From the horse's mouth we were told the tacos probably weren't the best to try and so I'd stay away from those. Also tried the fish and chips and the fry was very much like a chicken fried steak than traditional FNC, though the flavor wasn't bad. Not sure I loved this style but the fries were great. People of all types came in and out the 3 or 4 hours we were there. Invited some friends to come out and join us and it was a good time so I'd recommend this place for groups. Didn't feel overcrowded here like at other places around town and I do prefer some elbow room.

Walked in, and the location was very nice and inviting. You could tell that it caters to regulars. There were a lot of them sitting at the bar, and most of the dining tables were empty, walked up to a tabletop, and was greeted byba female server immediately. Cudos on the prompt service. I asked her what was good, and she said everything was good, but the wings were phenomenal. Wanted something that I hadn't had. She said the nachos were pretty good, and I ordered chicken nachos. Me thinking it was like standard nachos. You know the chips with cheese and toppings ok them. Nope, that was def not it.. So it took a few minutes for the nachos to come out, and the bartender, I think, brought the dish out. And on first glance kinda disappointed. I forgot to take pictures also! Smh, sorry! Anyway, they brought me a dish that had about 6 mini tostadas with cheese, beans, and about 3 mayb 4 chicken mini pieces on it! Man, I wish I had remembered to take a photo. I would have given it more justice so you could get the full effect. The flavor was decent, but they barely put any sour cream, no Pico, and a little bit of lettuce. The sour cream wasn't even enough to use on all the 6 tostadas smh. I did see someone else order the wings and instantly regretted the nachos damn they looked good. Finished off my nachos and paid the tab. Now to rate. -Location 6 outa 10 very clean and nice also has a nice patio Service 6 outa 10 server was friendly and helpful -Nachos 2 outa 10 nothing special about them -Beer 4 outa 10 mug was nice and cold it's beer unless it's skunked you can't mess it up‍ Probability of me coming back 50/50. Might come back for the wings. Also worth noting that the server said they are rolling out a new menu in a few weeks or maybe days, and it might be why my experience was so so with the food. I did snag a couple of pics from another reviewer so that you can kinda see what I was dealing with but substitute the ground beef or whatever that is for 3 or 4 little chicken chunks. And calling the chicken chunks is giving a lot more like a chip off a chunk..

In fact my four rating is because the server and hostess were great. Very helpful and pointed us in a good direction when we had questions. The space is nice and my wife and daughters said their bathroom was clean. So the food...what was ordered at our table... Chicken and waffles...great Grilled chicken sandwich and fries...great. The chicken was juicy! My daughter also got a side of Mac and cheese which was not good. I honestly think they need to rethink their recipe and until they do, skip it. BLT and fries...my wife loved it, I saw other comments about tomato size, I think this is really about preference. Corned Beef and Eggs with grits... the corned beef was over cooked and the grits were not good and were not eaten. Fried pickles with ranch were good. So all in all we had a good experience and look forward to returning.

We wanted a late lunch and decided to give it a try. If you tend to get cold easily, bring a sweater, though I like a chilly dining room so I was fine. I had my heart set on their famous fried mushrooms, and in hindsight I wish we had ordered them as a side. Our waitress didn't realize we wanted them as an appetizer, so they never came out. Not the end of the world, but a small disappointment. Unfortunately, I wish the rest of the food had wowed us enough to make that a minor issue, but for me it fell a little flat. My BLT was very average. The tomato was sliced so thin it was barely there, and although bacon is always good, there was nothing special about the sandwich. I could easily make a better one at home with very little effort. My husband ordered a chicken-fried chicken sandwich, which was better, but still not something I'd return for. The waitress did offer to bring the mushrooms once we mentioned the mix-up, but by then both our plates already came with sides. I got the fried okra, which was actually the best thing on the table. My husband's mac and cheese had almost no flavor. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Maybe brunch is where this place shines. Maybe those mushrooms are worth the return trip. I'm not sure, but if I come back and find out, you'll hear about it in a future review. Stay tuned.

My double cheeseburger emphasized the meat, well seasoned, right amount of pickles & greens, not overwhelmed with sauce. The tallow fries were as good as it ever gets: crispy, soft inside, must be 2x fried. Outside square had great World Cup fan area. We watched Colombia vs Uzbekistan. My team Croatia lost to England previously, but Haywire soothed my disappointment with an excellent dining experience. BTW: $638.04 with a 20% tip. Great value. The servers and food…read moreare good, but we have had some recent issues as a result of the new general manager, who is very sloppy and unqualified at his job, which is why we left upset and took our business elsewhere the other day. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
