Visited this morning as regulars of the Frisco/McKinney location. All of our food was of usual brunch quality. However, the orange juice I got at this location for nearly $6 was not the fresh squeezed that I'm used to at Starwood locations. This was definitely Minute Maid. I wouldn't recommend splurging on anything "fresh squeezed" at this location. All of the rest of our food was great and I would return! read more

Cannot rave enough about the tuna melt. It was warm, melty, saucy, and just very good in flavor. Definitely recommend! Other than the tuna melt, I couldn't really recommend anything else. We got the asparagus egg dish, berry quinoa parfait, fries, pancakes etc. The pancakes were very dark and overcooked, although they did have a good flavor. The eggs on the asparagus dish were super duper dry. The soup that came with our tuna melt was very very sweet. However the owner did come by to explain that the sweetness comes from onions and not added sugar so that was nice. We also got some fries which were just the frozen kind but they were very oily and left behind a bunch of oil on our plate. Overall I'd love to come here again for their tuna melt! As for anything else? Not so sure. But at least the food came out fast and we were able to get in and out quickly. Plenty of parking .. located between a Starbucks and Five Guys. read more

My daughter had the berry waffles, I had the Ruben and my husband had the brisket skillet. My daughter loved her waffles, the perfect amount of sweet and not so sticky that she couldn't eat them. My Ruben had the perfect meat to sauerkraut ratio. My husband's brisket skillet was the clear winner in who ordered the best meal. The waiters were amazing, I don't think my husband's cup once got empty. It's such a cute cozy spot, if we end up driving through this city again this will definitely be where we stop. read more

I was not impressed with the taste, of their coffee. I could only handle taking one or two sips. It was extremely bitter. I like to enjoy coffee with breakfast when eating out. However, their brunch items are mid. Nothing spoke out to me. My friends thought the same. We've had better brunch places. Also I had a short strand of hair and some lint on my sandwich. I have long hair. I really wish their food could live up to their amazing service. I love supporting small businesses, but I have to pass up on continuing to do so here. We found this cafe after grocery shopping. We walked in about 11am-ish and I was surprised of the size of the cafe. I thought it was a bit tight, but we were able to walk to our table without any problems. The expeditor, utensil refills, and condiments are in front of the kitchen so be careful if seated in the back area. I was surpised that they only had bottled water and we had to pay for it. I had never came to a cafe and had to pay for water. Anyhoo, the food was very good. I had a denver omlet with a side of pancakes. Service: The location is small, and although it was a busy Sunday morning, their service did not disappoint. We were in and out in 30 minutes. That's how quick their service is. That was the quickest service I've ever had at a sit down restaurant. Our server was Jordan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating of special request for cinnamon. Food The food was delicious. I had the very berry waffle with a side of egg over medium. The berries were fresh, waffle and egg were cooked to perfection. My husband had the starwood benedict. A new location for Starwood Cafe just opened around the corner from Costco in Lewisville and this was our destination for our Sunday breakfast We arrived 10:30 and didn't wait long before a table freed up.. this is a tight restaurant layout with little spare space. That said, the restaurant ran efficiently and our server was excellent Quality of food was good as were the portions , I found my biscuits were especially good and the coffee too. I like to visit places a few times to make sure there's consistency. That's what I've found at the Starwood Cafe. The food has always been fresh and delicious, whether breakfast or lunch, and the staff are always friendly and professional. There's lite pop music playing in the background, which you may not hear well if it's crowded. It's a great place for brunch on the weekends and with the wait when busy. I've passed by this place hundreds of times going to Starbucks or Costco and have always wanted to check it out. So glad we finally did one morning. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was how modern the interior was. I was imagining your typical diner with old tables or decor to make it look like the 50s. But this place was extremely clean and looked like a modern breakfast restaurant. I ordered the brisket skillet and my boyfriend ordered the CFS and eggs. Both were amazing and seriously have us thinking about going there soon again! The chicken fried steak was seasoned really well and fried nicely. The brisket in my breakfast skillet was surprisingly plentiful and very tender. All of the employees were nice and friendly and definitely made us a huge fan of this place. I went with the Chorizo Skillet which comes with chorizo, bell peppers, onions, hash browns + eggs etc. It was quite good and I definitely needed a box. I got their pancakes as a side which was a huge stack! Pretty good although I'm not typically a big pancake fan. The coffee was pretty decent too for a diner. Looked up a place to eat close to our daughter's volleyball tournament. Starwood diner came up on Yelp. It go great reviews and looked like a good place to eat. Yelp rarely disappoints and they didn't disappoint this time. Starwood is a very small place, but has great food and good/fast service. The chicken fried steak was good, the mashed potatoes and corn, also good. We also had pancakes and eggs. All were very good. The portions were decent and the service was great. Not many tables in the restaurant, not good for big groups. If you are ordering for a big group, I suggest to order take out. This place is great for groups of 6 people or less. Don't let this discourage you from eating here. The food is so good. If you are ever in the area, go to Starwood. They close at 2:30p, so don't go too late. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally had the opportunity to go in today for lunch. Locally owned place, usually looks packed when we drive by on the weekends but today was perfect. Small crowd and we were able to eat without feeling rushed or too crowded. We both ordered the Whole Hog Skillet. I ordered mine with no sausage or eggs and they were willing to accommodate with no problem. I had a side of buttermilk pancakes and my gf has the cinnamon roll French toast. Everything came out quickly and HOT!! Lie like when I say hot, almost too hot, right out of the skillet. And we notes this for every table. Kudos for cooked to order, hot, fresh food! The skillet was fulfilling (we really could have shared one) and good and the pancakes were light and fluffy. But the winner of the meal was most definitely the cinnamon roll French toast. It was delicious! Not too sweet, we both stated we would come back for the French toast alone. I came with my family and all ordered full meals however I had surgery and I'm unable to eat big portions at this time so I tried to order from the child's menu and was told I couldn't. I then tried to order a-la carte and was told I had to order a full meal otherwise I couldn't only order that. I told the waiter that I wasn't going to order then. When the waiter brought the check she told us she was adding her tip since it was over 6 people to which my sister replied with "but you didn't let her order so it was only 5". She called the manager over and he seemed visibly upset cause we disputed this and try to make an excuse. Seems like the management team is also on board with this behavior and only care if you order full meals. Definitely need a new place to go to. read more

I loveee brunch and I've been to a lot of brunch diners around the Dallas area and this place is definitely one of my top 3! Portions are so big! and the prices are similar to other diners. The staff there are so sweet and work well with the COVID restrictions. They do have lots of seating even though it may seem small from the outside. They have an open kitchen. As seen in my photo, I got the veggie skillet and added chorizo. WOW it was so much food and normally veggie skillets come with basic veggies but this place puts in asparagus pieces and broccoli! I was so impressed and very happy. Very Berry Waffle is also a good choice Not only does it look good but it taste amazing they give you a lot of berry variety and waitress gave us a choice if we wanted the syrup, powdered sugar and whip cream on it. Their regular brewed coffee is good. nothing extraordinary but the waitresses do a good job at coming by to refill it. If you're in the area definitely stop by! We had chicken fried steak scrambled eggs potatoes and pancakes and I ordered the Cubano sandwich with side salad! The only down side was the potatoes were lukewarm and the gravy needed a little bit of sausage or something for flavor. The pancakes were delicious and they serve warm syrup with them. We found this diner when we were in Lewisville and thought we would try it. As soon we entered everyone was friendly, acknowledged us and said hello. The place was very busy, which is always a good sign. Although busy, the wait staff came right over to greet us and take our drink orders. She was also very friendly.
