Best Daiquiris ever. There are plenty to choose from. It's the only place I go. I won't even entertain the others! The bartenders are always professional and polite and treat all customers the same. There a chill to the atmosphere. Seems like a great place to hang out for a little bit. There are a few things to mention. They have pool tables, tv's, music, and slot machines! Oh, and did I mention... there's a drive through for the days you just want to pick something up and head home! All in all, I recommend this place 100%!!! It was very hard to decide between 3 and 4 stars here. I wish I could have gone 3.5 honestly. The argument for 4 stars is that the chocolate and banana flavors are both incredible (and even better when they're mixed) and the prices here are solid. The argument for 3 stars (and this is a big one for me personally) is there is no possible way that they were anywhere near as strong as some places like Fat Tuesday's or On the Run. I'll almost definitely go back to mix those flavors again either way...very tasty drink. read more

A must on your way to New Orleans! After going through the drive-thru here, no other daiquiris have quite been the same. I must say that I'm no local and no daiquiri expert, but I have tried most of the ones in the French Quarter. Clearly down there the prices are a premium because they're targeting tourists. The flavors are all the same, and there's more sugar than liquor. But here- its a great mix. You can feel the liquor but still tasty. Truly an adult slushy! I've been here only twice, but both times the bartenders were nice and friendly. I went inside once, and personally wouldn't recommend it because it was so smoky and kinda dingy. But again, this review is purely for the drinks. It's not far from MSY airport, and on the way New Orleans, so I recommend the slight detour. It's worth it if you like daiquiris. read more

Friendly and very helpful drive-up service! I had questions about vague flavor names like "Attitude Adjustment" and "House Special" and she was quick to explain ingredients. If I had to picture hell, this pretty much sums it up. Outdated 90's decor. Super smoky! Like your cell phone will stink smoky. Disgusting tasting drinks made with the cheapest liquor known to man. Called and asked the price of the daiquiris, some girl answered the phone and said "I'm too f***ing busy working the bar right now, look it up on the website" and hung up on me. First of all the prices are not listed on the website and you spent all that time complaining you were so busy...you wasted your breathe and could've just answered my question when I called. Next time go see a shrink and tell him your problems, not your customers. I emailed a complaint to Ms. Faye Wagner the owner My 30th and still never received a response. This was unacceptable behavior allowed at this location, I know alot of others who have stopped coming here because the bartenders are so trashy and rude. Alas, an Oasis in the hot steaming desert that is Metairie in August. I scratch at the door to gain access and I am immediately disappointed by both the mounting sand in between lips and gums but also by the bolted doors. I gather my waning strength and am able to force my ship of the desert towards the distant drive thru window. I am greeted by a friendly smiling face who offers me cool sustenance. Ah, its Monday and I may have a large at the medium price. My luck is changed, I may live. Flush with generosity a frosty aperitif is offered to the back seat galley slaves. They are grateful and their lives are allowed to drag on. Half an hour later the life preserving beverage is exhausted. Like the purple Martin's predictable return to the Causeway, I am cursed by an undeniable truth. The large discounted daquiri is done but I'm left strangely sober. Where is the buzz which these glorious elixirs once provided? Where is the alcohol? Where is its deleterious effects.? More importantly where has my money gone? read more

if I could give zero stars I would. the only reason I went to this place is because one of my customers gave me a gift card. I parked in the front of the building and proceeded to walk to the door. as I was walking I saw an employee walking in to the building as well. instead of telling me the inside is closed, she shut the door in my face and locked it. Their peach colada is the BEST daiquiri I've ever had! It's just the right amount of creaminess and fruity flavors and you can taste the alcohol but it's not an overpowering taste. But they put enough alcohol for you to definitely feel it. Their White Russian is also really good! I definitely recommend this place plus they're always very friendly! read more

Wow, I see a review hasn't been written on this place in quite a while. Well, here goes: This location is right at my back door, and we go through the drive thru all the time. Last night was a little different. I had my husband and child in the car. I suggested going inside to get our daiquiris while family waited outside because a bartender here had formerly told me you get a $1 off the price of a daiquiri if you go inside to get it. Well, that was not the case, but no complaints. My main beef about what I received -- or rather, didn't receive -- when I stood at the bar is the #1 sickening reason why my wonderful husband who has 25-plus years of bartending experience and truly LOVES serving people, and happens to be from Texas, can't get a decent bartending job in this town: You obviously have to be rude, obnoxious and downright impersonal to bartend in the New Orleans area!!! I stood at the bar for what seemed like 10 minutes while THREE bartender girls laughed and talked and even lined up to take a picture of themselves with one of their cell phones before noticing that I was standing there waiting to order daiquiris. For them, I was a nuisance and an interference in the way of them chatting, laughing and having a good time. Who knows what they were talking to each other about or doing, and WHO THE HELL CARES!!! Serve your customers! Can't believe I even left a $1 on the bar. My husband can go back here for his daiquiri if he wants -- I'm taking my business to a more customer-friendly and appreciative establishment. I know it doesn't take much education, finesse or class to squirt daiquiris into a cup, but it takes someone really special to light up the place with a smile and a gracious attitude -- and an APPRECIATION for the customers you are serving who may just leave you a $5 tip instead of $1. read more

I just left this shop 3:00 pm 8/30/15.....I've always come here, as a matter of fact EVERYDAY, and sometimes multiple times a day, I've even had people from Mississippi drive up here just to get one....but what I experienced today was ridiculous and rude, I pulled up to the drive thru and ordered my daiquiri and got a phone call from my sister telling me about funeral arrangements for my nephew.
