What a delightful experience this was just located right off the highway in Lenoir, North Carolina. Always wanted to stop in, but never got a chance. I got the burger, a chocolate shake and onion rings and all were amazing. My wife even complimented the chicken salad and really look forward to the ice cream dessert afterward. Very accommodating for both dogs and babies as well with ample outdoor seating very clean restrooms and very clean on the inside as well and a very spacious inside as well which you don't see as much anymore these days overall for fast food A+ and definitely will return. Only thing I don't care for is crinkle cut fries, but that's a personal choice . read more

The fish was mushy. I don't know if it was the time it was or if it wasn't done, flys was flying around also but I throw the fish away. That's the first experience I have had there. Love the fries they give you a big bag of crinkle cup.. ice cream is good. Processor reasonable, and like I said, the only thing I've ever been disappointed in was the fish. read more

The ice cream here is wonderful! I like the large cones that they have here! I also like the Greek selections on the menu. It's not totally traditional, but it is a healthier option from regular fast food. I think the servers here are very polite as well. read more

My boyfriend and I happened upon this place while on a spontaneous drive and had the best experience! Amaurius (I apologize if I spelled it wrong) was AMAZING and super nice, seriously some of the best service I've ever had. He did us right with our desserts, I got a large waffle cone with the chocolatey-chip cookie dough (which was incredible, lots of cookie dough bits) and my boyfriend got the strawberry shortcake. Both of our desserts were absolutely delicious and it was only $12 for huuuuge portions. Amaurius also got me a cup before I could even ask when my ice cream started dripping, just another example of his customer service excellence. We got in about an hour before they closed so not too busy. It was pretty clean too, another worker was basically climbing under a table just to clean, she was putting a lot of effort in. Overall, I would highly recommend! Very nice people and delicious desserts, I've gotta go back for food sometime! read more

The food at this location is prepared well and prepared to order. The dining room and bathroom is very clean and overall a pleasing environment to have a meal. I have a young child and I love taking my family here once I come to town. The only reason why I didn't rate this 5 stars is because for the first time I ordered the BBQ and was completely disappointed. I am always amazed by the quality of the food at Dairi-O but I would not recommend anyone order the BBQ. It's a horrible representation of NC BBQ. read more

My brother goes to college in Boone, and he suggested we stop here for food while dropping him off. The food was off the charts good, and we ate all of it. It's better food for the same price as any other fast food restaurant. The Icecream scoops are huge. We ordered one scoop each and got triple the normal amount. Ohhh, regrets. This place is unique in their version of what they offer, but WAY over priced. The wait is always ridiculous regardless of the amount of customers and their staff leave the entire experience less than desirable. The food isn't bad, for a fast food place, but it also doesn't taste top of the line...the prices would suggest otherwise. Overall, just not impressed, in the least. I've tried on four different occasions, and have regrets every time. Smothering your food in cheese sauce, doesn't make it more valuable. I can do that at a 7-11 much quicker. Me and a colleague were in Lenoir dropping off some equipment. He recommended Dairi-O for lunch. The restaurant is in a busy location at a large intersection. The restaurant was very clean. The staff provided food customer service with a smile. I ordered the chili and grilled cheese combo. It was very good. My buddy ordered the chicken sandwich. WENT THRU the drive and the fish sandwich was sad. the chicken tenders were dry as dirt with no seasoning. the only thing good were the sweet potato fries. great flavor, size and salt. they were not limp and soggy. the soda was not mixed correctly with the carbonation. if you don't like my review, do not worry, I will not be back. read more

Couldn't be happier. My daughter & I love to get a couple of things at any new place we try and split it. We got the Double Burger (lettuce, tomatoes, etc), and the 2 Hot Dog Combo, splitting all. Juicy, Chargrilled patties on brioche bun with plentiful, fresh toppings. Double YUM!! Could eat one right now! Hot Dogs cooked nicely (I think most places undercook the hot dogs. They deserve the grill treatment too!!!). Got them with chili, slaw, onions, (you know-"The Right Way") and they were fantastic!! Overheard one man at table next to us comment to his dining companion "That was a solid hot dog." I AGREE. We went back the next day for a repeat performance & they did NOT disappoint!! I completely understand why they stay so busy here. Don't worry, they take care of you pretty quickly. Milkshake (hand dipped flavor) was thick, rich, and a MUST try. Several flavors to choose from or get soft serve. Going back soon. Very soon. Gotta limit myself at this place. Addictive for sure. Waited 20 minutes for our food. I had to go up and tell them we hadn't received our food. We were told there was a problem with the paper. The help apologized but we still waited another 10 minutes for them to get our order ready. My drink glass had a hole in it and my drink ran all over the table. Not sure we will go back. read more

If looking for a great burger restaurant in town I definitely recommend going here. Great service and is always busy. It just opened a few weeks ago so still fairly new. It's a bit expensive but worth the price. read more

First of all, the French Fries here are fantastic when you get them extra crispy. I gave it an extra star just for the fries. I ordered the BLT to go with them, but it wasn't so good. It may have been good if I could have got past the grease, as the bacon didn't seem to be drained or blotted at all. The milkshake was good when you get it as a $2.00 upgrade with the combo. Don't know if I would pay full price for it though. But to be fair, milkshakes aren't really my thing. May have to try a different flavor. The fries were really great though. I would go back just for those, but maybe try the salad wedge to go with them next time. read more
