I went after I ate at Longhorn I originally wanted to get a black and white shake but instead I got the Dubai Sundae. It was creamy and had the perfect pistachio flavor the chocolate syrup was perfectly added and drizzled all over the place. The sugar wafer was a great addition to the delicious ice cream. The pistachio bits inside the ice cream were heavenly. Finally, the cherry on top was the finishing touch to a masterpiece. The portion size was a little small especially for its price. The person who gave me my ice cream was very nice and welcoming. It was a perfect chilling treat before bed. read more

Had to stop here while on a short food run to the Mooresville area. Lot's going on in this area in the restaurant scene, if you can fight your way through the darn traffic. I wanted to pop in here for 2 reasons #1, I like their hot dogs, and #2, I wanted to take a closer look at the Wiener that Dairi-o uses. We got a 2 hot dog combo, and both dogs were with kraut and mustard. We each grab a dog, I passed on the FF (hate these crinkled boards of non--flavor). This is a very good kraut dog, loaded, really loaded with zesty sauerkraut. The wiener seems about average, probably around 1.6 ounces. Dairi-o's weiner is 100% beef in a natural casing, providing a snap when bitten, and is made to their specifications, they do not purchase a national brand. Like the other newer locations, this is a bright, clean spot up-fitted in retro diner style - open and spacey,plenty of sunlight from the numerous windows. My daughter loves the spicy chicken sandwich from this place so we fought the horrendous traffic to get there for a quick lunch. The fries were good. My daughter liked the chicken sandwich but one of them did not come spicy as requested. I went to take it back in and let them know that it was incorrect and instead of him offering to make me another sandwich the right way, he offered me the spicy sauce that they toss the chicken in. So much for great customer service. The inside of this place is spacious with lots of seating. We did opt to sit outside. This is a once or twice a year occurrence with this place because the traffic is HORRIBLE!!!! read more

There were 3 in my party. Everyone was pleased with their food. I had the chicken souvlaki pita. I was pleased and went back the next day to order it again. This place is a nice place to take the children. You can get pretty standard burger joint fare and an ice cream bar to boot. I got the chili dogs and honestly that's where this place loses a star. Both the chili and the hotdogs were very bland. Overall the experience was very nice and we will be back but I'll have to try something other than the hotdogs and maybe re-review. read more

Great chain that we had to visit twice in one week! Their hot dogs may just be some of the best around. Add chili, cheese and coleslaw and you have a perfect combination in your mouth! I love some finely made coleslaw, and toppings that are in perfect proportion to the dog and bun show! I am a messy eater by nature, so any biz that helps me stay fairly clean while eating a notoriously messy meal is a win in my book. I also tried their chili cheese fries...another win when it comes to the ratio! And take note, they grill the hot dog buns just nicely, without making them burnt or firm! Happy eating! read more

I'm so impressed by the quality of food and service this place has to offer. While visiting the area we ran into this place and I am so glad we did. There is something here for everyone in the family. The restaurant is very clean, staff is friendly, My salad was crisp, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I would say this $10.98 salad is better than most sit down restaurants. As for the burger according to my husband, he got his money's worth. Still not disappointed. First time eating inside, I have always home through the drive thru. Clean, lots of seating and bright and cheerful They know their crinkle fries and they do a great job getting them crispy. Crispy chicken sandwich was great. Really liked this place for a fast food joint. We are in town visiting family, saw this place and figured we would give it a try. I ordered a double burger with bacon, cheese, grilled onions, and mustard...my wife ordered the grilled chicken pita. I was very surprised at how good this burger was...and those tasty, tasty fries!! Yum yum. My wife said that her grilled chicken pita was delicious!! They DO NOT skimp on the seving sizes either. The pita was so stuffed that she had to eat it with. Knife and fork. If you live in Mooresville and have never been to DairiO...what the heck are you waiting for, they are so much better than pretty much any burger chain. I was really surprised! I did not expect this place to be so good! A HUGE bonus, was seeing the 100% health inspection rating! This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. This visit, I had a burger and a chicken sandwich, with a special request. I'm on a low carb diet,and requested a lettuce bun for both. The had no qualms, and even stated it's a popular option. The service was on-point! Very friendly, and the food came out lightening fast! The value was the only negative factor. The burgers are a little expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong, they are tasty, but I ate two, and could have probably eaten 2 more. I like how they have a "fresh, never frozen" policy, and a focus on healthier options! If you're not into the health stuff, they have a whole ice cream section! Do try the icecream here so good. Coconut and Strawberry are favorites. After hearing the shakes were tasty had to try one. The closest thing I've had to a shake in years is a "frosty" at a well known chain. Honesty wasn't expecting much but was "Wowed" with the Strawberry. The shake was creamy, rich and super thick! Let it come down in temperature to drink it out of the straw. A gluten free menu is available for those who need it. read more

Mixed Review. Wife loved it and mine was less than satisfactory. First spotted this place when we went to the Sport's Page but they did not open till the next day. Mark it for a later day. Since then several of my wife's friends from the Y' have recommended so we gave it a try yesterday. Decor is somewhat retro with a Happy Day's Feeling. You walk in and proceed to the front counter where you wait to place your order. After you place your order, you go get your drink and find a place to eat. At some time, they will call out your name and you pick it up at the Counter again. My wife ordered the Chicken and Rice Soup along with a Grilled Chicken Pita. Only complaint was that the Soup was very hot and she had to wait for to cool off. Otherwise she enjoyed it. I ordered the Two Hot Dog Combo, hold the Cole Slaw, with Fries as my side. The Dogs came out way overcooked and the dogs brittle and the Chili devoid of taste. Fries were very under cooked and while I like Hot Dogs, these were some of the worst I have had in a long time. Even the dogs you get it the service plaza along the interstate where they have been on the rollers for hours have more character. It is new so very clean. They do have an outside patio and drive through so that part is nice to consider. Note that the front right hand side of the Counter is somewhat separate and focus on Ice Cream. I'd been in up near Kernersville a few times last fall so I thought I would be eager to try this place out. Didn't get in opening day but it would be a stretch to say that I really missed anything. Not saying there's anything inherently icky going on but when a person is trying to reduce the number of nearly-food experiences in life messy kid stuff is not really on the radar. The grilled chicken pita thing was mostly tasty in a roll-it-around-on-a-flat-iron-until-it's-hot sort of way, peppers and onions were identified more by sight than taste or texture. Like most fast food it's OK hot but can't imagine it cold or for breakfast. Not likely to help with labs at the next doctor's visit and I'm not sure what it means when coffee feels like the most nutritious part of dinner. I finally got by to try it because a friend raves about it and knows that hotdogs are my favorite food. Since I love hotdogs, I got the two hotdog combo all the way as per my usual which is mustard, chili, slaw and onions. That comes with medium fries and medium drink and they do have Cheerwine on the fountain and you go back and refill your own cup. The combo comes with real fries, crinkle xuts, not those piddly ass stick fries you get at places that won't be named but rhyme with dickfonalds. Upon first looking at food the first thing that jumped up at me was the seasoning salt on the fries, I hate seasoning salt on my fries. The fries themselves were really yummy and even though you get just a medium size with the combo, its a big medium and there are a lot of fries in that dang bag! I did love the toasted top of the hotdog bun and while the hotdog itself was good, I needed more condiments, they were skimpy for my liking, not enough chili or slaw either one. While looking at the menu initially we noticed they had ice cream and not just any ice cream but my personal favorite that is hard to find...Butterscotch dipped cones!!! After we ate we got a small ice cream cone and when I got it, I was so convinced it was not a small that I went and asked for a manager because I didnt want someone to get in trouble for giving me the wrong size The assistant manager and I think his name was Kevin assured me that my cone was indeed a small, small cones have 3 layers as mine does because the base bottom layer doesnt count and the top finishing layer doesnt count so a small with 3 is actually 5 layers. He said the cones went 3, 5 and 7 or by their way of counting 5, 7 and 9. While talking to him, I asked him about the fries if I could get them without the season salt and he said oh yes, most definitely you can. He then went to an unused register and pulled up all the ways I could get my fries and what I could get instead. No one had asked or told us that when we ordered, that info would have been most helpful. Kevin is the one who told me about google reviews that they have to maintain a certain level. Up til then I had only done Yelp and never even heard of google reviews. Now, I have both. Anywho, fast forward a week and we go back. I want to try a burger so I get a double and I ask for my fries without the salt and extra crispy like I was told I could. Burger was just okay, nothing to write home about. Fries were as I ordered them just plain, not even regular salt. I guess when you take off the season salt they dont do anything else, lesson learned. My biggest complaint and the reason for the 3 stars is my second ice cream cone. If my second one had been my first one I would never got another. It is awful looking and my apologies to the squeamish but it looks like an uncircumcised goober. Lol I posted both photos on their own fb page while sitting in the store and they havent cared to say anything so they get just 3 stars. I did give them time, its now September, this was July. I havent been back since but I will just havent had a chance. Not sure I will try again with the ice cream but I am determined to get the fries to my liking at least once!!! read more

Drive thru service at 330 pm was horribly slow. I assumed they were short staffed but when I got to the eindow where I could see inside there were at least 3 staff standing and chatting with each other while the one girl at the drive thru tried to get orders out. Shockingly bad experience today. Back during covid you were doing a much better job with the drive thru. read more
