Love that a new place has come to this shopping center! I came by for some pasta and the service, ambiance, and food was all great. Definitely hoping to come in to try out some more dishes.

Visiting family in the area and stopped in for a birthday dinner. We started with a couple small bites, including a little goat cheese crostini with jam, plus their potato stack which was a delicious, playful, why-didn't-I-think-of-that creation of french fries on top of a huge mashed potato croquette. Fun stuff. My lamb burger entree was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful and although I can't recall exactly what everyone else had, we were all very happy with our meals. Service was prompt, attentive and super friendly. Really nice folks here. We would go back for sure.

The worst picture of bread AND salad I have ever taken. WTH happened? Must have been a good Old Fashioned.

I know I took two pictures of the salad, but they aren't there. Odd. The picture wouldn't do it justice anyway. The salad was awesome! I also had a pear. Because it was in the salad. I haven't had a pear since I was eight years old (rough estimate). This pear was covered in balsamic vinaigrette but I really enjoyed it. Here's where I'm going with this.... Go out an explore. Be adventurous. You might accidentally find out you like pears and stuff! Anyway, enough about pears. The bread was also stellar. I mean, that was some damn good bread! And you're not locked-in to garlic bread either. It's one of the few places I have been where if they have garlic bread you can also have not-garlic-bread. Can't the other places just not add garlic? I'll try the Cajun-like chicken dish next time. The service, ambiance, and decor were on the money. Highly recommend! Just wish they didn't charge $5 for bread. Weird. But still highly recommended!

Went over to Flock again tonight. Ordered the Lamb chops. They were really good. The bartender took very good care of us while we were there. The place has a welcoming vibe and I always went going here . Will return.

What would we order again? * Lamb chops with Rosemary/Garlic - Perfectly cooked. * Roasted sweet potatoes - Surprising dish for something so simple. Savory spice mix pairs really well with the natural sweetness of the potato. Crunchy outside with a lovely soft center. * Broccoli casserole - Yummy comfort food. I would order again but without the bread crumbs on top. Nice dish as is. * Grilled veggies - Nice crunch. Not mushy. They cut the carrots themselves. No square cooked from frozen carrots here! * Kobe burger - My friend had this and loved it. Told me she's been thinking about it all day today. She's ready for another! * Hashbrown potato's with a spicy sauce. Not my fav. Thought it was bland, but friend loved them. What would we not order again? Nothing.

The food was good but the service was a little (just a little) off. The location is awesome and parking is weird (you'll see) but pretty easy. The staff were very friendly and had this cool little board with our name on our reserved table so we could just walk in and sit down. Love this idea! We ordered goat cheese crostini which was excellent and the charcuterie board. We had crab cakes and three people had the filet. All of it was great and I highly recommend! My issue with service is accuracy. The charcuterie board was missing one of our cheeses. The steaks were all cooked properly but delivered to the wrong people which we didn't figure out until about a quarter way through eating. Only one of three dessert truffles we ordered were correct. I expect some issues when dining out but 3/3 courses (6/10 plates) were either wrong or given to the wrong person. The staff seemed genuinely shocked when I called the mistakes to their attention and remedied quickly but...6/10? I highly recommend this place. We will be going again soon and hopefully can leave a more positive review!

Customer Service and Food here was exceptional. Not only was our server extremely helpful with a couple of special orders that I requested but the food tasted very much like it's a farm to table venue. I would definitely say this is a diamond in the rough in Mooresville.

Absolutely outstanding! Amazing little hidden gem in Mooresville Anne and Geoff were amazing and answered every questioned had, some of the best customer service around. Anne the owner even came out the door as we were leaving to thank us. I have been hearing about Flock For a few months now, the saw a write up neighbor app, recommend this place, so We tried it today. The place is kinda hard to find only draw back it's in the Harris teeter shopping center but next to great wok, off the beaten path. We started with a glass of wine and beer. 24 ounce cans for 425 not bad at all. Lamb lollipops, shrimp scampi, asparagus with a stuffed mozzarella and prosciutto, calamari, and mussels in the flock sauce. We order so much but were so Happy. I can't tell you our favorite they were all delicious. This was our first time trying lamb, I'll be back just for that!!!! Everything was just so good. Great place, great service food was unreal.. we definitely be back. Thank you

Great New Place to try in Mooresville Been wanting to try this place since they opened and had planned to try Saturday lunch here with my wife. She came down with a bug yesterday and rather than put it off till another time, she insisted that I go by myself and also pick up some cold mediation while I was out. Thought I knew exactly where it was at and while I was in the general area, I was off by about a half a block but eventually found it. It's exterior tends to blend in and does not immediately jump out at you. Found a good parking spot and walked in just after 1 pm. Almost deserted with a couple at the bar having lunch and watching basketball on TV. I was greeted at the door but a lady I assume was the owner who escorted me to a nice table. My server was there shortly and took by beverage order for unsweetened tea along with water while I studied the menu. The appetizer and salad list is enough in of itself to warrant a trip but I was hungry but that hungry so I opted for just a Sandwich. There on the menu was my favorite and ultimate sandwich, the BLT made with prime wood smoked bacon and Arugula for the lettuce part. I took a pasta salad as my side. I told the server that my wife was home sick and she suggested that at the end of the meal, I pick up something to take home to her. While I waited, I looked around and it a very modern interior with dark wood but lots of light. Staff is very good and absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of service. Lunch came out in about 12 -15 minutes which is assured me that it was made to order and fresh. The BLT was perfect with just the right balance of all ingredients on a delightful bread. The Pasta Salad was excellent as well with just the right mixture of Mediterranean Herbs and Vegetables. Portion size is very generous. Came close to time to leave so I ordered a Grilled Chicken Wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and Provolone Cheese. Her side was Mac and Cheese. Got a chance to try a bit tonight because the portion sizes were so large, she shared a bit with me. The Wrap was great as was the Mac and Cheese although it was a pleasant take on what I am used too and it was very good as well. Normally this would have been one of those places we like to try after Church on Sunday but alas, they are closed on Sunday so will have to make plans for other days.

I ordered the pork belly bao buns, but they missed the mark for me. Coming from NY, I'm used to bao buns being marshmallow-soft and pillowy, but these were a hard, and the pork belly itself was quite tough. Our wonderful waitress noticed I only took one bite and brought the manager over. He explained that the cut is naturally mostly fat, which I understand, but the texture just wasn't quite right because it should be tender not tough. I declined a replacement dish, and he kindly credited it on our bill, though the interaction felt a little awkward. My husband's salmon unfortunately had a very heavy mustard flavor. The spinach farrotto underneath was quite salty. Since there isn't a kids menu which is fine, my daughter ordered the burger plain, but it wasn't really a hit for her. My coconut guava Paloma was okay definitely the best part of my meal though it tasted a little artificial. The ambiance has a lot of potential, and they had live music playing. However, it was a bit too loud for the space, forcing guests to raise their voices just to speak to each other. We also noticed our table hadn't been wiped down thoroughly before we sat down. The absolute silver lining of our evening was our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, highly attentive, and took great care of us. She is truly the reason I am giving 3 stars. She mentioned that they offer a completely different menu for brunch. Because the setting is so pretty and the service was so good, we might give them another chance for brunch down the road, but we likely wouldn't return for dinner. Proof that lighting and plating can hide a lot! Captured these beautiful views last night, even though the dinner itself was a bit of a letdown.

The shrimp wrap, however, was disappointing. It had very little shrimp and seemed to rely heavily on overcooked bacon and an abundance of lettuce, which made it tough to chew and left it lacking balance. The menu offers unique flavors and creative combinations, but in this dish, there seemed to be more emphasis on presentation and concept than substance.

Our server, Payton, was kind, provide good service throughout our meal. I ordered the fish and chips and the steak, and both were very good. The beautiful waterfront view and live music made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. My only suggestion is for the staff who seat guests. First impressions are everything in hospitality, and I noticed the menus and napkins were tossed onto the table rather than being placed down with care. It may seem like a small detail, but it sets the tone for the entire dining experience. I work in the hospitality industry and have traveled all over the world, and I've learned that outstanding customer service is just as important as great food. Even on busy nights, those little touches make guests feel welcome and encourage them to come back.

Negative reviews boil down to the way she treats customers and the environment she promotes. But as she likes to say... NEXT .. This is bullying behavior and it doesn't look very professional. On every review platform others have been treated exactly the same. A Tip? for what exactly? The stellar service? Ruining my birthday dinner? Maybe she should pay her tip as the owner for treating customers this way. It IS refreshing to hear her defend her employees, as I have read comments by former employees she's treated horribly. My daughter-in-law simply said she felt sorry for the server working under these conditions. The owner responds to unfavorable reviews harshly. She wasn't present, didn't know the facts, yet responded within minutes of my review. To correct the account she provided: WE asked for the police after reaching an impasse. We were speaking with the manager, not "scolding" her daughter. We asked for the owner's contact information because we did not know the manager was her daughter. Once we learned that, my daughter-in-law asked for her father's information, assuming the owner might be "Eddie." It was an innocent misunderstanding. There was no shouting or harshness. Two steaks were overcooked. We intended to pay our $197 bill; we never refused. The police can confirm that. We never saw a receipt, only the total on a check. The claim that we refused payment is false. The fish remake offer came much later, after escalation, not immediately. I've written over 69 reviews in 14 years, and only four have been one-star reviews. This is the only review I've had to edit in response to untrue claims. We chose this restaurant to celebrate despite locals warning us about bad experiences. The menu looked promising. Most of the food was fine; the issue was service. As long as everything goes perfectly and you don't complain, you'll probably be fine. We were seated on a side patio in direct sun with no shade despite having a very fair-skinned infant with us. We asked to move and were reseated inside, even though we had requested a lake view, believing this was the only patio. We were not told there was a shaded back patio. The hostess made it feel like an inconvenience. Our server later explained seating is based on server quotas, not guest preference. We rarely saw our server; expo delivered most food. When I spoke to someone in a "Staff" jacket about seating (later identified as the owner's daughter), she turned away without engaging. The issue escalated when both steaks were overcooked twice. After another wait, a manager arrived who had been shucking oysters nearby without acknowledging us. Her shirt was soiled, which raised concern about presentation. She said inconsistent steak cooking was not something they could control. The steak was remade, but still overcooked. Because it was my birthday, my husband waited to eat with me while others started. By the time my replacement arrived, his fish sandwich was cold and no longer served at an appropriate holding temperature, which raised concerns about food safety. We again asked to speak with someone and were told it was the owner's daughter. We said we would pay for everything except the overcooked steak and cold sandwich. She refused. Because we could not resolve it, we asked for police assistance. Employees stood near the front door though we had never refused to pay. The sandwich was later offered to be remade, but by then we were ready to leave. The issue was never payment. It was poor food quality, poor service, and refusal to correct a reasonable complaint. The steak was eventually removed from the bill. The issue came down to a cold sandwich and the expectation that a party dining together should eat together. When mistakes happen, acknowledgment matters more than excuses. I have dined worldwide and rarely experienced service like this. After reading other reviews, I noticed a pattern of the owner dismissing feedback and responding defensively rather than constructively, which may explain the low ratings. Aside from this restaurant, we had a wonderful visit to the area and found other great restaurants. I only wish we had read reviews beforehand. The police told us the owner said we were no longer welcome back. OH Darn.
