It makes me sad writing this because I'm from the area and grew up coming here but the quality from this year compared to last year has sadly gone down hill... the fried pickles used to be homemade and are now completely different and taste like every other restaurants, the homemade quality made a world of difference! My son's burger was overcooked and the fries were soggy. My footlong tasted fine. The service was good. I just think the same love that goes into their other restaurants should go into this one too, that's just my personal opinion, raised prices for subpar food. I wish I would've took pictures because this place was awesome the food and service was absolutely amazing. I had the perch dinner I would like it fried a little harder but the taste and seasoning was spectacular. The ambiance was okay I didn't care for the carpet on the floor so it made the place a little dusty I had dust on my phone but took as extra seasoning lol I'm kidding but I wouldn't suggest them removing the carpet. I was with a party of 6 and an all equally enjoyed our food. The bbq chicken fried chicken wings were great - I love breaded chicken. They have at least 5 fry option to choose from curly fries to fresh cut fries (I was amazed lol) I just wish it was so far from me. We stopped here after a trip to oak beach. I love Lefty's for a quick breakfast or lunch. They do have a really good perch dinner, but they do get busy so you need to get there early. Homestyle cooking with very friendly weight staff. If you're in Caseville, you need to go there at least once. read more

We ate outside in a covered patio area that used to be a drive-in. My friends and I had burgers, fries, curly fries and onion rings along with a pop. I had the Lefty's super deli burger done deluxe style with onion rings. Both were good to very good. Both my friends said there burgers were good but one said the regular fries were soggy. Inside is the classic 50's dinner set up. Outdoor seating is low top patio tables and picnic tables. I can't recall if they had wifi. Good, friendly service. Pricey. My meal with drink was $21.19 before tip. Side lot parking. I may return when I'm back on the area or try to find a spot with a little better price point. read more

Lefty's is a busy, little place. We stopped in for dinner. It was full. People of all ages were dining here. It's decorated in a bright, beachy kind of way. We had perch dinners and they were well prepared, and tasty. One negative, the carpet was flithy with dropped food and napkins and such. This is definitely one of our top picks in Caseville. The menu is extensive, really offering something for everyone. Most recently, we enjoyed several different appetizers rather than ordering an entree. We loved the house cut fries with chili and cheese, as well as the beer battered pickle slices! WAY OVERPRICED! I got takeout for two footling chili dogs and two orders of curly fries. Very slow, and it didn't strike me as very clean. The hotdogs were literally shriveled and pretty brown, with very little taste. Bun was way over toasted, but somehow soggy. My whole family was in the bathroom frequently for two days after that food. The curly fries were pretty tasteless, and fairly small portions for $5 an order. What's going on is the owner charges these outrageous prices for this substandard food because she's catering to the wealthy that come up to stay on the lake for the summer. Decently ok is about all I can give. It's not terrible and it's not great. Just kind of ok. Pricey for what it is. $8 for some fancy fries which I didn't care for at all. I came with a party of six, we had called ahead and were told there was open seating out on the patio, when we got there, the host told us to go see ourselves on the patio, and there were only tables that needed to be cleared off, so we had to go back in and ask the staff to clear them off for us. Our waitress was friendly, but the downside was that it took 40 minutes for us to receive our food. Considering that it is simple diner food, eggs, bacon, toast, omelettes, etc. it was wild how long it took and I had to call the waitress to see when our food was coming, she did not come to check on us during our wait time till I asked her. I understand that it is a small town and it was a Sunday morning, but 40 minutes is pretty unreasonable and it would have been better service if the waitress had came to check on us or explain about the wait time during our stay. The food was decent and average, your classic diner breakfast. Nothing bad, nothing to write home about. read more

It's a somewhat musty old diner with tiny tables and a lack of air conditioning, but the service and food was very good. We went there on a mid-Tuesday afternoon, and the place was packed. The burger I had (listed as a "2005 champion") seemed to be no different for a burger at any other place, and it was kind of small. Perhaps, I should've ordered a bigger burger. My wife had some burger with ham on it, and she liked it. She ordered onion rings, which were huge portioned and among the best we've ever had. I heard rave reviews of the deep fried pickles here and had to make a visit! Twice. The deep fried pickles were delicious! Not the best I've ever had, but damn good! We were actually here for breakfast (and the waitress still let us order the pickles- bonus). The décor of Left's is standard Caseville. Bright pink, flamingos, and 1950s overkill. The coffee was a step above diner quality. Breakfast was average and cheap. Less than $5 for 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and Texas toast. If you are in town, stop in for the pickles! read more

We stopped here this past Saturday while taking a drive around the thumb area. We were looking for somewhere that we could get some food and probably eat in our car, as we had our two yorkies with us At Lefty's we could eat outside under a roof and our waiter said the dogs could sit at our table I had the cod fish dinner and my husband had a burger and hand cut fries. We were very surprised at how good the food tasted and was well worth eating there. Our dogs were happy to be comfortable outside the car and in a shaded spot. The restaurant for indoor sitting was open too and both areas were filled with customers which usually means it's a good place to eat Will stop there again when we are ever in Caseville. read more

My parents live in Pigeon (the next town over from Caseville), on Sand Point and I am roughly 2 hours south of Pigeon so we often find ourselves eating Leftys. The menu has several options like an omelette, burger, pulled pork sliders or meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The service is great, if the servers are busy and running around they likely breeze by to check on you, but they still do.... I have been in the business for years, one thing I notice often is cleanliness. The building may be old and about to lean over, but it's clean from what I see. I also know that their food is fresh and I've never had a bad meal there. The flatware/China are meeting the same fate as the building & some menu items come in a red basket, the prices are reasonable, so for that my daughter can eat her chicken fingers out of a basket for now.
