This place is a family operated business and is now run by the grandkids. Its located right off Gulf to Bay and looks very run down in its blaring red and white striped painted - rv looking building. :) Its got an awning where you place yoru orders through a protected iron grate. (this area's not nearly that safe at night.) In any case, soft serve ice cream and smoothies served here! The item i always get is the chocolate dipped vanilla cone - a generous pile of gluttonous soft served covered in chocolate - what more could you ask for? read more

Everytime I go there I always visit this place on the way back from the beach. Everyone who works there is always so nice to me. Decent quality soft serve ice cream. Chocolate or vanilla or mixed. Impressive looking banana split. They send to have random policies that interferred with the enjoyment of my group. For example, they couldn't put a topping on a cone. Ok. But they also wouldn't put it in the side. Because, they don't allow toppings on the side. They won't let you get a cup of water. You have to buy a bottle of water. The lady was friendly, but the random polices weren't customer friendly. Next time, we'll go elsewhere. read more

We pulled up while the open sign was still on, got the kids out of the car, and got behind a couple they had just finished serving. They quickly shut the glass and turned the open sign off. I stood there and the girl working opened the window long enough to say, "we just closed." It's a real shame. I have lived hear for 50 years and went to Clearwater high with one of the owners sons. Ordered 3 hot fudge sundaes all the way with extra nuts and got a "are you kidding me" sundae with barely any ice-cream and no whip cream. I asked both employees if that was correct and was not only told it was correct but was asked...what's the problem??? Last time customer sorry to say. Hate to see a landmark go but every dog has its day. I have endured price increases for less products in the past but this is unacceptable.. If you choose to go here, good luck.
