I had a very disappointing experience at Dairy Queen. After paying for my food and receiving a receipt, I was unexpectedly told to leave the premises and was denied both entry and access to the food I had already purchased. I returned multiple times with proof of purchase, including my receipt, but was still refused service and denied the food I had paid for. It was not until the fourth attempt, after my wife personally contacted the manager, that I was finally allowed back inside and given my order. As someone who has worked as a General Manager for several restaurant chains, I found this situation completely unacceptable. The level of unprofessionalism, disorganization, and lack of customer service displayed by the staff was shocking. Customers should never be denied access to food they have already paid for, especially when they can provide proof of purchase. This experience reflects poor management, inadequate employee training, and a disregard for basic customer service standards. I hope ownership and management address these issues to ensure no other customer is treated this way in the future. Very over priced for 2 of the smallest ice cream cones I have ever gotten at a DQ. Handed it to my husband and he even asked if I ordered the kids size! I should have went to a regular ice cream shop to get my monies worth! Also disorganized at the process of making the orders. An employee carried 3 cups with some ingredients in her arms against her shirt to another area to get more ingredients then to go back to the other area I guess to finish. Went to the dairy Queen in Willamette Oregon and they only slightly messed up the order. We asked for a plain chicken sandwich and we had to return because it's an allergy issue. It was only 2 chicken strips in a bun not a chicken patty which was a bit depressing. I asked for no ice in my drink and they put ice in but really the worst part was more bacon bits than chicken in my chicken salad. The entire serving and eating area was clean-clean-clean. The employees were friendly and the service was great. We had the best "Peanut Butter Parfaits" ever!! It was just the right mix of peanuts and chocolate to compliment their delicious vanilla ice cream. We added an order of fries to top off our treat. We just could not have been any more satisfied with the service and our order. This DQ is APPALLING!!!!! First and foremost.. I went to this failure of a location earlier this week for a blizzard. After waiting countless lifetimes in the drive thru, I was finally handed my blizzard.. I immediately noticed an off smell to my little ice cream treat.. I have never been given something with such a disturbing odor... I tried a bite of the blizzard and it was RANCID.. It tasted EVIL!!!!! I would've been better off eating rotten milk. I have NEVER felt more disgusted with a dining location. This was criminal... This joke of a business establishment needs to be looked into for poor food safety practices. They are lucky I don't get in contact with my legal team. Also.. this location..or should I say hell... .REFUSES to accept usage of the app. What kind of fraudster owns a location that wont even use the companys app??? The wait was absolutely horrible, drive thru took 45 mins for a sundae. The employees were nice for only two people working yet it took sooooo long! Im not trying to be a Karen but this is ridiculous. $7.58 for a cheese burger basket w/ bacon. I wouldnt be upset if it was actually worth the almost $8, but there where barley any fries and taste like pure oil. The hot food is usually tasty, but if you order a meal you better order extra fries because you hardly get any. Every time I order ice cream they mess it up. Actually went inside to order a couple orange Julius drinks, thinking it might be faster. Turned out to be a good decision. Came in to see a place truly understaffed for a 5 o'clock rush, there was one girl on the register, and one on the drive-thru. But even though, I was able to get my order without too much of a wait. Order was correct with no errors. There were several areas of concern, like the lack of hairnets or any food safe gloves being worn. The kid on the counter was there strictly to take your order and make you food. Customer service and moral seem pretty low. Also there was an older man milling about behind the counter, realized he was bringing change for the registers, No uniform, no smiles, or cusomer acknowledgement, to anyone really. Employees were not speaking , vibe was very tense and stressfull. If I as a customer felt that, I feel bad for the kids who work there. Also because counter person was desperately trying to stay ahead of customer orders, cleanliness was very lacking. Lastly I would say that if the management could offer some positive training to employees, have more staff present at busy times, and some electronic upgrades ( each register should have it's own debit/credit card reader) things would hopefully be a bit more efficient. Build moral by building a team of people who work together, and can have a strong focus on great customer service. An employee is only as good as their manager teaches them to be. read more
