I should have mentioned this sooner but about a month ago I went in one evening for a blizzard. The store wasn't busy and I walked to the counter. I was the only person inside the store and there was a high school aged female and male standing in the kitchen. They both saw me walk in and they kept talking. I stood there for 3-4 minutes and they never looked back at me again. They were not bagging any drive thru orders and finally I shrugged my shoulders and walked out. Today (Sunday) I went through the drive thru and ordered two #9 (taco dinners). When I got home my wife and immediately noticed all six tacos barely had any cheese on them. Seriously you could have found the strands of cheese. Maybe 6-8 strands of cheese over each taco. I'm am becoming very disappointed in this Dairy Queen. read more

Blizzards are made very poorly. The employees do not take the time to make sure the dessert is properly mixed, therefore customers have to finish mixing themselves. This problem leads to a big mess and an unhappy customer. read more

Dairy Queen I hate to say this but the service has got to step it up. West Columbia location is busy I get it, however, it's not the cheapest place to eat so I expect service to be a Lot better. Ensure clean tables and the workers never smile at the customers. We don't want to feel like burdens when we visit any establishment. Please do better. MANAGAERS PLEASS READ!! The other day I was stopping by for a meal and ice cream via drive thru and I was greeted by a wonderful young lady. She made me feel as if I was being taken care of and she also made sure to let me know what deals or special that had at the time! She was kind and efficient in taking my order. When I approached the window to receive my order she had the warmest welcoming smile and really made me feel as if I was getting the best quality service anyone could receive from a lovely little shop. As I paid she engaged in a little small talk with me as we waited for my order and even told me to stay safe after I received my order!! What a great customer experience I had at this location since the other two in town are not exactly the best haha! The young lady's name was Victoria! GIVE HER A RAISE HAHA!! I got a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and it had multiple peanut butter chips in it. Gross!!! Also the blizzard looked like they had barely blended it. read more

Service is extremely slow and the workers seem to have more interest in playing talking to each other rather than taking an order, I ordered through drive-thru and I had to repeat myself several times because they kept laughing and talking to their coworkers also I had to wait like 15 minutes for the food only to be missing straws and a complete order Definitely not coming back read more

As long as I can remember Dairy Queen has been a part of life in Texas, I can remember having a Dairy Queen dip cone as a kid, or eating fries from my kids basket, you can't beat the prices, or great food. The desserts are very good too, from the simple dip cones, to the more elaborate blizzards, everything on the menu is great. But I recommend getting the steak finger country basket, it will hit the spot. The gravy is great for dipping the fries in to! So come on in and sit for a spell and have yourself an good ole Texas time. read more

Hey there pretty good food tonight.! Had an small issue with the ordering at DQ on 7th street. The best thing about this was two different employees came out to double check our order because the paper for the chef receipt ran out. (this actually happened at venzulas garden so we already know what the deal is) After about 8 mins of waiting, they let us know what happened and we would receive our food in 10 mins. On a normal day we wait 30-45 mins there. Tonight we waited 19-20 mins tops..... (Negan voice) The chicken fried steak was DAMN GOOD.! I really do appreciate that they verified our order and didn't mess it up even though it was very hectic most places won't let you know what's goin on, the fact that they all kept their cool with a full line, and 6 ppl waiting, very nice work team ! I love DQ..but I do not love below par service. We travel through here quite often and always stop for our quick DQ fix. We've never had any issues before. While coming through w/the kids today, we stopped for a quick bite and to take advantage of the BOGO blizzard for .99 cents. As usual, the food was awesome...the service... lacking. The manager had a huge hickey on her neck, the cashier could not tell me what was in a Hawaiian blizzard (literally responded with 'I dunno..'), then proceeded to STILL put the wrong ingredients in my blizzard. I know this is small town country..but jeesh...a little customer service can go a long way ladies! read more

Chris b me and my brother called in a order and he called back to add to order and got there and the order was messed up and lady was mad said we was holding up the damn line that's the kind of service I get from there I won't go back there I'll go to whata burger where I can get great service after that I didn't even want to eat food. PS y'all need to fix phones to try to call on my cell and they hang up on me I can call any where else and works. They don't like there jobs don't take it out on custermers. The Dairy Queen in West Columbia TX Is by far the WORST fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I placed my order and even told her the number and she brought me something completely different. She then took what they made, griped about it and dumped it on top of chips. My son accidentally spilled some of his meal in his lap and instead of the woman behind the counter grabbing a towel and helping him she laughed at him and did nothing to help. My blizzard had hardly any candies and when I showed her she simply stated she would charge us for more. Extremely RUDE. No customer service here at all. Classic small town fast food chain! Great burgers and try a blizzard for desert! Fantastic!

This has got to be the slowest place in town. Had to watch 3 ppl standing behind the counter not doing anything while food was ready to be handed to ppl and I needed to order. Not until a manager came from the back and had to tell one of the girls that there was a customer waiting at the counter, even though she already knew I had been standing there. read more

Bay City Dairy Queen has the best fries. They make the best dipped cones. They have the best Texas toast. BCDQ is home.

Sooo good! My family eats DQ all the time! They have great chicken, great burgers, and the best fries and sweet tea in town! I love all their desserts too! Blizzards are a great treat! You will find yourself wanting some DQ all the time! read more

Service is extremely extremely slow. Workers are just standing around. The whole restaurant was full of people waiting for their orders. The staff was yelling at each other. We waited for 30 minutes for a burger and fries...low quality service and definitely NOT fast food read more
