Stopped in for dinner during a stayover, service was excellent and the dining room was clean. Hamburgers were pretty good too.

Management should focus on customer service... And quit charging for sauce. I know it's not a Dairy Queen policy. I just bought 25 dollars worth of food... Now you want 30 cents for ranch? I also often make the mistake of seeing the long drive thru line so I go inside to an empty dining room only to leave with my food long after the guy I would have been behind in the 6 cars deep line. Step it up guys.... It wouldn't take much for you to get more stars being a very common fast food establishment but I shouldn't leave after every visit slightly annoyed. read more

The only saving grace was that the food was acceptable. Nothing great, but acceptable. And I'm comparing that to other Dairy Queens, not making a general statement about Dairy Queen as a whole. The complaint I have seems to be the same as the other two reviews . . . the service. It's as if they have never been customers of a fast food restaurant before. They do that thing where they wait until everything is ready to take your payment so that they're handing you back your credit card, receipt, a drink and straw and the food all at once and then they act like I'm not being fast enough taking it from them. I was sitting at the window for a few minutes before you even acknowledged me, you could have spread it out a bit. Instead, you're making me throw everything down in the car just to take the next thing from you. In the same vein, they took a bag that's meant for two Blizzards (or something similar) and shoved all my food in it. There wasn't room for it and the top couldn't even be folded over. So, I had to hold it the whole drive back. I don't know if they're being cheap or if it's just stupidity, but shouldn't the customer rank somewhere near the top of your priorities? It looks like there are a couple other Dairy Queens in town. If I lived here, I would be avoiding this one at all costs. read more

Came in around lunchtime with my wife and kids and place was empty. Ordered our food and asked for ice cream at the end so it didn't melt during lunch. Food came out and all of it was cold. The lemonade was warmer than the fries and my sons burger was overcooked and cold somehow. Got past lunch and wanted to get our ice cream. Asked for our ice cream and got our kids cones brought out to us and was waiting on mine and wife's ice cream and a line developed. I understood she wanted to help some of the customers first so i went up to the front so she didn't have to walk out to us to get things rolling but she helped every other person in line and just looked at me. Every other employee there passed me and didn't even try and see what i needed. Only way i got my ice cream was my wife came up and was clearly upset. I am writing a review because this is not the 1st 2nd or 3rd time this dairy queen has been horrible. I give up now. Im never stepping foot into this dairy queen again. P.S. Tried to get ice cream last so it didn't melt... they waited so long to give it to me it was melted when i got it. read more

I go all over the country and had to be in Billings at the comfort suites. I decided to go to DQ for a treat. When i went in everything seemed normal no read flags. That came to an end when the cashier (receipt says her name was Izzy) went to carry my medium blizzard from behind counter had her hair fall into the treat. Rather than acknowledge what her and the other 2 saw she proceeded to try and serve me this item. I replied that i had saw what had happened and another girl proceeded to make a new one, while izzy and another girl giggled about what had happened. Not once did she even apologize for this incident. The absolute worst DQ service from east coast to west coast i have ever experienced. Would never go back to this location. read more

Must be the slowest restaurant in town. Like to order M&M blizzards, and last couple have been horrible. Pay that much and have maybe one M&M in it?? Also, been sitting in line for over 15 minutes and only had two cars go thru. Will drive to another location than waste my money here ever again. The teens that work here are more worried about their cell phones than the customer. Would be a great location for any other fast food company. read more

Ghetto. To start, received by .80+ cents in nickels. Cashier asked for dimes and quarters from "manager", and the manager blew him off. Then waited 10 minutes for two blizzards. There were only two people ahead of me, drive through was full however. After 10 minutes my order only moved up 1 spot. Asked for refund and left. All tables inside were dirty. Will not be back to this location. And PLEASE tell me why they have a tip jar?!?! read more

Hands down THE WORST Dairy Queen in billings. Get the damn kids out of the kitchen and off the mic and train the incompetent mother f*cks. Over and over AND OVER have I ordered from the drive thru and OVER AND OVER AND OVER I continue to get f*cked. Either there's no sauce(which they're sure to ask twice about, more than likely out of spite) or it's old, cold, disgusting crap way over serve time. Today I went and not only did they, yet again, forget my damn dipping sauce, but they also soaked my "toast" so heavy in butter that it was soggy and inedible. AND THE SIDE OF CHEESE CURDS WERE HARD AND OLD. Do you know how pissed I was after throwing away 2/3rds of my damn lunch I paid almost 10$ for? today i went to Dairy Queen and i ordered a 5 buck lunch and told them i did not want a sundae and they asked if i wanted a large fry or drink or fry so i chose the drink instead of the sundae and they charged me 30 cents. i know its only 30 cents but i didnt make sense. then when i get my food my meal barely had any fries and very tiny chicken tenders. i was very disappointed. and of course they put tomatoes on my friends sandwich when i told them not too. the dairy queens on grand and king/32nd are by far the best dairy queens and they give you what you pay for. they only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the food did taste good and the were very polite read more

I asked to order a Tropical Blizzard and the cashier informed they no longer serve that flavor. I then asked for a Hawaiian Blizzard and was told by the cashier that they don't serve that flavor either. Sheesh, really? I have always came to this Dairy Queen to order a tropical blizzard and now they no longer serve it. Oh well, I will spend my money at another Dairy Queen location in the future. read more
