Excellent ice cream cake. Delicious and Fun!
    Linda R.

We ordered an ice cream cake for an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" we were having. I called to discuss how to Decorate this cake and the gal who puts these Cakes together did an outstanding job. We were all so very pleased. It was the hit of the party. Many at our event had never had an ice cream cake before and just Loved it. We have ordered several cakes from this Dairy Queen and they have Been consistently delicious.

This Dairy Queen location has a helpful and friendly staff. Their tables and seating were wiped down but the food on the floor left it greasy. We had to move tables because of it. Our order was correct first time around. This location offers free, ample parking in its own dedicated lot and restrooms. They also have a drive thru which is the way we order when we are in a hurry.

There was a window full of truffles, hand made chocolates, and caramel apples. They had some delicious samples to try too. They had a soda shop area with seats to enjoy your treats. We had a lot of fun looking at the different bins full of candies that were unique. We grabbed a mix of treats before we headed out. We loved this store. The sweetest part of the experience was Russ, the employee that answered all our questions and helped us with our selections. He was the highlight of our visit. He provided the best service , and had a dynamite personality. We would visit again. Reasonable prices and worth the stop.

I brought my 3 daughters and that was a challenge, but we stayed for about 90 minutes and purchased three sets of items, as we sat at the convenient old school soda fountain tables and ate all the goodies. Everyone was really nice there, but the only one I caught the name of was PJ who was running the soda fountain area. She was super friendly and very helpful. We spent quite a while conversing with her about sweets and whatever else. This place is large. Yes it's pretty pricey, but there's so many choices. It was amazing to see. Not only do they have nearly every candy you can imagine, but they also have ice cream and they make milkshakes, and specialty sodas. I thought a neat touch also, was the fact that they have a bunch of games you can use to play at the tables for family fun. Uno and sorry and things like that. Good to keep you in there and eating more sweets! Haha. The whole ambiance reminded me of the classic 1950s candy and malt shop. Overall, well done. Good times. Enjoy them while you still can.

The stand-alone building reminds me of a little league baseball field hut that serves local treats only in the summer. The two high school aged young ladies ran the show and are bubbly with big smiles. There was a line of families with wagons, dad's with daughters on Harleys and carloads with kids in line. A huge family friendly vibe. Now to the ice cream, shakes, freezes, banana splits, twist cones and sundays. With the ice cream there are at least twelve flavors, dipps and cone sprinkles. I ordered the vanilla ice cream with cherry dip while my wife went with the vanilla and toasted coconut dip. Sizes here are HUGE and a GREAT VALUE. My suggestion is order a size smaller than you normally get. The ice cream was creamy and very cold. My wife thought the toasted coconut dip was amazing. Fancy, Softies is not, but a blast from the past and a reminder of yester years. This is an iconic blast to the past that can't help but make you slow down, take a deep breathe and quickly try to eat your ice cream cone before it melts. Softies, thanks for a flash-back to younger years and providing simple pleasures.
