Went through drive through. Tried to order $7 meal deal with $2 upgrade to small blizzard. Worker could not understand what I was trying to order. She finally figured it out. I told her only ketchup on cheeseburger and she sighed loudly and said "now I have to delete the order and start all over!" She couldn't get my gift card to work. Then she didn't give me the drink. I reminded her of the drink and she said "you substituted a blizzard." I substituted the blizzard for the sundae like I have done many times before and always got a drink. I understand businesses are short staffed. That is not what caused me to write this review. The owner and proprietor of this store is the most unprofessional boss I have ever witnessed. When he took my order he seemed unpleasant and unhappy. As I was walking into the lobby to find a seat, he was making racially motivated discriminatory remarks to his Hispanic workers because of some of their transgressions on prior shifts. Then, he proceeded to get after some of his other workers for their shortcomings and said they were part of the most worthless generation of all time. He mentioned if he was part of their generation that he would kill himself. I proceeded out of curiosity, when I picked up my order, to ask one of the employees what they got paid. The employee said they had asked multiple times and never been told. The way he talks to his employees in front of God & his guests in his store was enough to make me get up and walk out. As I was leaving he called someone retarded. I cannot fathom how this owner has not been reported to the labor board. He should not be running a business, or at the very least he should retire. If you choose to spend your money here after reading this review, please consider tipping the extremely mistreated and underpaid employees. read more

We just left dq after an evening ice cream craving. When we walked in they were really busy. All the workers there were very young, but extremely respectful and well mannered. We waited maybe 5 minutes for our ice cream for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 toddler). They were apologetic for our "wait" but we didn't have one. I was very impressed with their service and how polite and respectful the young employees were. They handled the rush very well! read more

Stopped by today after volunteering in hot sun just like I have been doing all spring and summer. Told they no longer carry Cotton Candy blizzards as it's a summer flavor and they stopped selling summer flavors. I replied it's still summer til September 22 and it's almost 90 degrees. Super confused. Unprofessional to say the least. They are losing money by not having cherry dipped cones or cotton Candy blizzards. (Both gone from menu!) Tried to call. It went to a voicemail. I don't expect a positive response. I actually don't expect any response at all. Bad business at DQ. Sucks when you've been toiling in hot sun in the middle of a hot summer day for over 4 hours looking forward to a cold treat from Dairy Queen (specifically!!!!) only to be denied and dismissed. Where's the customer SERVICE!!!! Customer Satisfaction??? I won't be returning unless I am offered a gift certificate for my inconvenience and waste of my time and hopes. Make this right DQ. Went to this location for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. There prices are what they should be and not jacked up in other locations in Hamilton county. They had the right amount of product on my ice cream. Since I used to manage a DQ I know how the products should look like and they were on it. I just get ice cream and it is good. The guy who runs it is a little different. The first time he took my order after he took over was a little interesting. I walked up to the counter and he came up to the register. He just stood there. Did not greet me or say hi or ask to take my order. He is better now cause at least talks to the costumer! He yelled st her telling her he did not have to watch his mouth .So I ask him to stop because my kids were present . He then was rude to me cussing again several times . This establishment is bad the food quality is terrible. For example I order a chicken strip basket and inside the gravy was a dead fly. I told the manager and he said that I couldn't get a refund and he also stairs at you kind of creepy. He also looks at children. Personally, I used to work here, so I know exactly how they handle food here. They are very unsanitary, and the owner is a joke. For example, my hands would always smell like mildew because the rags we used to clean up ice-cream were never actually washed, they were put into a washer and run through the cycle but with no soap of any kind. Another example, the cheese that is served with the pretzel sticks is supposed to be refrigerated each night so it does not mold, and the grill people never do it because "they owner doesn't care so they don't care." Also, there has been multiple occasions that the owner has saw cups in the trash and has LITERALLY taken them from the trash, "rinsed" them off and put them back onto the shelves. These are only a few examples of how nasty it is here, I could go on and on. All around it is disgusting, and a lot of people there don't care. Worst first job ever, would never recommend someone to work or eat here. read more
