I tried the "Lil Sass"- 1/4lb burger on Texas toast with pepper jack cheese and fries. The burger seems to be hand pattied but I'm not 100% sure on that. The fries are the seasoned style and are really good as well. They have a topping station so you can dress up your burger however you like: pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, jalapeños. It's a basic strip shopping center so it's nothing fancy but the prices are reasonable and you can usually find a coupon in the local ads. Normally when something is hyped up it doesn't turn out to be as good but Hamburger Mikes is as good as advertised! The only thing that I think would make it better is some burger sauce.

Bear in mind there was only one other person in there in front of me. When I got my food, my hamburger was cold and my fries were not far behind that. I should've gone back and asked for a new hamburger, but I was so disgusted by the ignorance and lack of training of the staff that I just wanted to eat something and leave the restaurant. The restaurant itself was very very clean and as I said before, obviously very new. I stopped at the bathroom before I left. But for a new building and a bathroom that looked clean, the whole bathroom smelled like urine. I also have to say they added pickles to a hamburger that wasn't supposed to have pickles and I had to take them off before I ate my cold hamburger. I have eaten that several other Whataburger in different towns and had a good experience. This Whataburger in Griffin, Georgia, clearly has bad training and bad management and it is just opened. I will never be back to this Whataburger again. I had to repeat four times what I did not want on my hamburger. And that's with three of them standing there helping each other. Avoid this location of Whataburger at all costs.
