Food was good but it would be better if it was served warm. Pretty much the entire plate was lukewarm or cold.

The food was average for the price and then I was up-charged. I ordered the one of the more expensive items on the menu because I wanted to help them out. The food was fantastic. The biscuits are truly homemade, the salmon croquettes were delicious as well as the the cheese grits. The service was good. Service and ownership on the 21st of July I called in a to go order consisting of hash browns crispy and one strip of bacon came to a total of $4.19. this morning I called in the exact same order hash browns crispy one strip of bacon for my special needs autistic 15-year-old child then it came to 4.55. And when I tried to have a discussion with the lady behind the counter. I am a transgender woman she popped off with sir I said ma'am she said sir again I said ma'am and then she call me Goofy and not so nice of a curse word. When I tried to call and speak with ownership the lady I spoke with stood up and called me a liar warning to any transgender person thinking about eating here DON'T they don't respect us. read more

Out on a random adventure and found this place on yelp. Immediately greeted by a very nice waitress and hit in the face with awesome smells! The place really is a tiny shack, but the smaller the place the better the food. I asked for a suggestion and was recommended the Fashioned Hamburger Steak (while the waitress was telling me someone called in a to-go order for the same thing), took her up on it. Sweet tea to drink, and it was the perfect southern style (often a hit or miss at small places as it goes stale quick - tasted like it was brewed 5 minutes ago). The food was amazing, meat was obviously fresh (not frozen) and gravy made it delicious. Fries were crispy and the coleslaw was undescribable. They also have homemade desserts: coconut, strawberry, and chocolate cake today. No room left but will be back again! read more

This place was a surprise, saw good reviews and pulled up will make some people say no way and pull off, it's a little run down place beside it is an appliance place with old parts sitting out and behind it is a truck parts and across the street is a tattoo shop so a bougie person may flee but I decided to stay and what an experience. Wasn't too bad at all inside though, I was greeted by a super Friendly country waitress that made me feel right at home. I wanted breakfast but it was lunch menu. The 2 waitresses were very loud and outspoken and super funny but not at all in a bad way, more like a family setting where everyone knew everyone. They were very sweet . Ordered a burger all the way with extra mayo, I was very surprised because I was expecting a frozen patty and frozen crinkle fries like most restaurants do especially hole in the wall places like this but the Cook came out and rolled fresh ground beef and made handmade cut fries. I'm not a big fan of burgers anyway but this burger was pretty good it wasn't seasoned very much which was OK because I put salt and pepper on it but it taste just like a good homemade burger and not some frozen patty . the tea was also really good the place is not the best looking but the food I would definitely go back for and it has a home town country Feel. I was not expecting for it to be a real shack but everyone knows "the hole in the wall" places have the best food! It took me two seconds to figure out what I wanted on the menu. Homemade biscuits like my grandma and country fried ham. I have no idea where to even buy buy county fried ham. I also got the salmon biscuit. The salmon croquette was okay but that biscuit is EVERYTHANG! The biscuits were $2.25 a piece. I do recommend getting more than one biscuit. read more

This place popped up on my Apple Maps as a good place for breakfast. It wasn't wrong. Although a hole in the wall, the food and service was excellent. The biscuits were perfect, not too fluffy and perfect for anything you wanted inside. I had the sausage biscuit, grits and two eggs. With tea for a drink, the bill was only $7.50. A great deal for the food. The server was very sweet and the food came out quickly. I would say this is a place I'll return to next time in Griffin. read more

Just passing through, looking for something good, and we found it! The nice lady working the dining room was so sweet and nice. The food was amazing! My husband got the hamburger steak, covered in gravy, not a bite was left. I got a cheese burger, so good. The sweat really is awesome, and I highly recommend the coleslaw.
