Just had a perfect experience at this Dairy Queen! That had all of the food that I requested, the service was quick and excellent, and the restaurant was fairly clean. I chose to only give 3 stars, however, besucase there have been issues in the past with things such as the speed of service, not actually being open when it is supposed to, and besucase they are often lacking the items I request such as items with bananas and brownies. read more

One time my family of 8 came in to get ice cream after a band concert and the 4 employees in there ignored us for 15 minutes didn't even say they would be with us shortly. Now today I went in, the workers had their personal food on the counters (health code violation fyi) they quickly hid it as I got to the counter. They ignored me again for 5 minutes. "Upside down, or the next one's free." Seems like this location along with every other store does everything they can to get out of the policy that's posted around the store. When questioning the policy, the employee proceeded to tell me that it is not their policy, took my blizzard out of my hand, tipped it upside down, and gave it back. I understand why they stray away from policy considering the only way I can enjoy my blizzard is by drinking it through a straw. Horrible experience and will not be going back. Gave it 1 star because I couldn't give it negative stars. Where do I begin with this dumpster fire that is a stain on the great Dairy Queen name? I have been coming to this place occasionally over the last 10 years, and this last visit was the final straw. Time and time again this location has disappointed me. The quality is garbage. They are always "short staffed" which is just a lame excuse they use for their poor quality. Their food is actually decent, but the catch is you have to talk them into actually making food for you. The workers for the last decade are always lazy and incompetent. I can't believe this place is still in business. Never again with this location. You want ice cream or food in the area? I visited the store on June 10th and the service I was provided was unbelievably low. The person working the register threw a ice cream rag over the counter at another customer and then proceeded to make my Ice cream shortly after which followed by dropping the cup twice and then making it in a small cup and then trying to pour it into a bigger size to only make a bigger mess. Not only there was a mess all over the floors and tables that made the space feel super uninviting. This isn't the first time I have had experienced these kind of behaviors there. I was looking forward to enjoying my ice cream but after waiting about 15 minutes and then seeing the mess that they have made. I wasn't comfortable eating anything that was made. Great DQ. Sometimes a tad slow but they always make my moolatte properly and deliciously! I've never been inside so I can't say much about it other than it looks a little small but they have some nice outdoor seating for the warm months! Definitely satisfies my sweet tooth in a super guilty but pleasurable way. read more

WOW. I have never experienced such terrible customer service! I understand employees may have been busy since this pandemic, however, I saw multiple employees standing around doing nothing while the drive-thru line was in the street. To start off, I was waiting in the drive thru for 40+ minutes, I knew I should have turned around. When I finally got up to order, I told the employee I had four items to order. After the first item "are you done yet?" No, did you get the first item? *waited for minutes for a response* "YA. I got it". OK. Then the next "are you done yet", no. This continued for the following two items as well. I just couldn't believe the audacity this kid had to continue to cut me off and ask if I was finished. I'm not sure if this is their training protocol or what, but I've been to this Dairy Queen various times over the past 15 years, and this is not the first time it's happened. I have worked in customer service for six years and this is not how you handle customers!! I will NOT be returning to this Dairy Queen for I've had multiple experiences with angry employees and not getting the correct order. (PLUS, how hard is it to use chocolate ice cream on a cone versus vanilla?!?! This has happened the past three times coming here). We have contacted management before and they only apologized for the inconvenience. There's a reason we refer to this DQ as the "crappy Lino DQ"... take the extra 5 minutes and drive to the DQ on Apollo Drive. This DQ is always slow, the food is hardly mediocre and they short you on your portions. I ordered a 4 piece chicken strip basket with a drink. The chicken strips were extremely small, the fries were soggy and limp and the bread was gone. Don't bother spending extra money getting a beverage because the pop machine is always flat. Overall, spend the extra time going to the other Lino lakes DQ, it's much better, with friendly staff as well. read more

II went through the drive thru and ordered a plain chicken sandwich i had them tepeat my order back to make sure it was plain. When i drove around to pay i asked them again to repeat my order. They repeated it to me again. Plain chicken sandwich. A different person handed me my food and he said here is your plain chicken sandwich. I drove home and when i unwrapped my sandwich it had everything on it. I drove back and walked inside and explained that they did not give me what i paid for. So she took my bag containing my sandwich to the back and came back with my old bag and sanwich. I proceeded to open my old bag and noticed they just scraped off the toppings it was soggy. I went to this drive through 3 times last week and each time I asked for ranch dip for my French fries. The first and second time, the employee told me they were "out of ranch". The third time I insisted on 2 cups of ranch, the employee told me they charge 25 cents/ Ranch dressing..??... She said the manager is very strict about their ranch policy.
