I arrived one hour before closing on free cone day and the doors to dine in were locked. There was people inside though with the workers. Whatever, i went through the drive thru expecting a free cone since they locked the inside, only for a worker to tell me there are no more cones and they ran out. Mind you!! Initial reaction of the place: The guy at the front seems like he isn't interested in customer relations at all. Surprisingly, I think he is the manager or owner. He was tending to other "side work" instead of greeting and helping the customers. Not just us, but I witnessed it with other patrons. To be honest, we only came in because we had a coupon. It was buy one get one for 99 cents (any size Blizzard). I haven't had DQ in forever! I'm not sure if I have been to this location before. We ordered two large Blizzards. One was Choco Dipped Strawberry (as photographed). It was ok, but the guy described it as strawberry with chocolate chips. It was not! The "chips" were more like chocolate shavings, and the strawberry flavor was compote, into vanilla "ice cream". I put quotation marks because I'm sure it is more milk than cream. It was a decent flavor. However, without a coupon, two large blizzards would have been a total of about $16.00! That doesn't include anything else, NO FOOD or other treats. Just two blizzards!! The other blizzard we ordered was The Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie Blizzard. That comes with brownie pieces, choco chunks, and cocoa fudge. I asked nicely for the cocoa fudge on the side. He immediately said that is not possible. I call BS on that! I think he just didn't want to deal with the hassle. So, we still paid "an arm and a leg" for missing ingredients. Great! SMH/eye roll. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. It was clean, the television was on a little too loud. There was only one other customer in the restaurant to start and a few trickled in after. Yet, the employee still seemed too busy to bother greeting and asking if they needed help. He seemed to be tending to the "not-too-busy" drive-through, and wiping down the front counter. We let the one customer go ahead of us, then had to wait a while before he came back to take our order, even though we were clearly ready. Not a "Be right with you" or "Sorry for the wait". Final verdict: Won't be back. Other than maybe to use coupons. It is super expensive for just a little treat. read more

Came back a week after having a fantastic dinner for lunch. This time we tried the shrimp basket, the regular chicken tenders with no sauce on them, got a side of gravy sauce and their queso sauce. The gravy was great and the queso was just okay. The mint Sunday was nasty. I had a New York cheesecake and strawberry blizzard and it was delicious just as I remember them being. I know it's cold, but taking my kiddos out for dessert is a treat. Everyone was craving Blizzards from Dairy Queen. We ordered 3 and always look forward to seeing them get flipped upside down (just in case one will fall out, LOL). When the Blizzards were handed to us (we were in the drive thru) one of the cashiers picked them up from the counter and handed them to us, without flipping them upside down. When I asked the other cashier who also just handed us the last blizzard if we get our free Blizzard on our next visit, per their policy, she said she would talk to her manager. The manager was the first person who handed us the first two Blizzards. She said she did flip the first Blizzard. When I told her she did not, she said she had and was not going change her stance. Instead of arguing with a liar in front of a car full of kids, I left. I wanted to be the better example of an adult than the Dairy Queen employee. Went here to order 5 blizzards and a small ice cream for the family through the drive thru. They tried to give us all 6 ice creams with no trays. Had to ask them multiple time just for that. They over filled the blizzards and they immediately started melting in our hands. Every time we asked for lids they ignored us. By the time we got home the blizzards were melted all over the trays and myself. This will be the last time we go here. They were unprofessional, rude, and apparently lack common sense. read more
