    Nachos

I search this up after kids museum and found this hidden gem on a Sunday afternoon, we ended up order some nachos, kids Mac cheese and some wings, service was good, food came out promptly, nachos was good on point chips were nice and crunchy and not soggy the sauce compliments the chips, wings with fogo sauce fries were so good better than wings stop was really good Mac cheese was good also, definitely will be back for other foods, parking is nice and open plenty.

The Game Changer burger was ON POINT!

If you haven't been here since the new owners took over just know the vibe just isn't the same, normally that's okay because change is good, but I didn't care for the atmosphere, service seemed very blah, not that they were rude but almost like they didn't have enough customers around to care.... No dessert was available They didn't know we had a RSVP Food overall was DELICIOUS! Try the Blackberry burger!

Lunch today at Bauer's By Saxon was really good. Great vibe, friendly service and good food. The fried zucchini was excellent. I had the mango shrimp salad and it was delicious. My husband had the fireman burger with fries. The burger was very juicy and very messy. He did not like the fries because they were not very crispy and had a sugary spice on them that tasted sweet. I would definitely go back and try something different.

Was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming burger joint! Started our meal off with the Brussel sprouts. So crispy and lemony! My only complaint is that I wish there was more, as the portion was on the smaller side. My friend got the octavian and liked it. It was a spicy pork, linguica, mushroom, onion, and cheese sandwich. It was one of the featured items on Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives. I ordered the brie bg. I've never had a burger with these kind of flavors! It was topped with a creamy brie cheese and sweet blackberry jam. It was a solid choice, but next time I'd like to explore their menu and try something else. The fries were so yummy! They were covered in this addicting sweet and salty seasoning. The ranch and ketchup were homemade and the perfect complement to my burger and fries. I will be back to Bauer's for elevated bar food!

    Pastrami fries, wrecked into.

The food was so good, we didn't get a picture before we dug in. The pastrami fries: all ingredients tasted fresh with the combo of the sweet fry seasoning on an already yummy dish. The Brie burger was unique and sweet + savory dish. The cocktail from the bar was not too overwhelming with gin, but you felt it was there mixed into the sweet mixers + fruit. Karely was a helpful and pleasant host!

Staff were friendly and there were menus for the drinks and food. They also had indoor and outdoor seatings. Majority of their menu were handhelds and shareable which is understandable since it's more or a brewery/bar setting. I got the Caesar salad with no chicken as well as the truffle fries. Truffle fries were very good and seasoned. Caesar salad was okay, most of the lettuce was already soggy but i should have asked for the sauce on the side. It seems like their tacos and handhelds are really popular so I'll try that next time. Overall good foods and good times. I'll come back.

Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

I started out with their house made soda - a sparking strawberry drink that was extremely refreshing. We were there early and had the pleasure of sitting at the counter and talking to Tye - the owner/chef and Shauna the wait staff. Dishes are to share. Tye explained that he serves the dishes in particular order to deliver balance with intensely flavored dishes alternating with milder bites. We started with a simple plate of Marcona almonds, Castelvetrano olives and Manchego cheese. We then enjoyed the cabbage with peanut sauce dish - which may sound unusual but was absolutely delightful. We practically licked the plate - in fact asked for a spoon to capture all of the sauce. Next came whipped feta and ricotta cheese served with thinly sliced stone fruit some chili crisp and honey sprinkled with red walnuts and olive oil. This is served with bread slices. It's hard to describe how delicious and flavorful this dish was with such simple ingredients. We were going to order the steak and chimichurri but were talked into the lamb pops - and we are so glad to have tasted these marvelous lamb chops. They were cooked perfectly. In fact they were so good - we went ahead and ordered the steak too - which was extremely flavorful on its own but served with a fresh house made chimichurri. We also ordered the patatas bravas which were perfectly seasoned and cooked - almost crispy on the outside but creamy on the inside with just a perfect level of heat. We finished the meal with the cinnamon rolls - don't know how they cooked these to perfection so quickly but they were fantastic. Bottom line - how have we not been here before! Most important - we will be back!! Thank you Bauhaus for a great meal and dining experience.

The restaurant is smaller than you expect it to be, but it is cozy, friendly, and not overly loud. We only had a 10 minute wait when we arrived and they were packed. Our waiter Kyle was on point, introduced himself and dropped the special of the day with gusto. If I hadn't already had a ton of carbs for the day I would have gone with it. Ended up ordering the scallops, and fried zucchini appetizers. Scallops are served almost like a soup. The sauce in the bowl was to die for. I'm thinking white wine, and lemon were the major components. It was phenomenal. Fried zucchini was super tasty and is coming home with us. I'd swear it was enough to feed 4 people. For mains, we ordered pot roast and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Wife loved the pasta and chicken. Surprisingly enough she ate it all, none to go which is super rare for her. Pot roast was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were on point, the mixed vegetables were amazing. I was a little disappointed that we received the drinks in a tiny plastic cup. I understand that they're shots and meant to be drunk quickly, but I'd much prefer to be served an actual glass. The drink itself was good. I appreciate the quick service. I also appreciate how they had a large self-serve water station accessible next to the bar. The interior of the Fox Pub is quite cave-like.
