Service, food and cleanliness are less than satisfactory. Expect beyond long wait lines in the drive thru & gross food from the Monroe location. Tonight, I ordered two ice creams- a blizzard and a strawberry sundae. The blizzard was melted (would have dumped out if it had been served upside down, as suppose to) and and was barely sprinkled with the toppings. The sundae was completely disgusting-- the strawberry "syrup" was yellow & very watery. When I stated it did not look right, and I did NOT want it the girl proceeded to charge my card for both ice creams and told me there was nothing wrong with it. I would have taken a photo, but I handed it back assuming that it was clear I did not want to pay for it. Highly suggest not wasting your time OR money at the Monroe location. read more

We love the Watkinsville Dairy Queen. The people who run it are so nice and they really hustle to get your order to you and keep the Drive Thru line moving along. I love it when they turn your Blizzard upside down so you can see that it's really firm. Also love the Chicken Strips and HOT French Fries. Good burgers too. read more

I went through the drive-thru during a busy(ish) time (3 cars ahead, 2 behind). When I got home I realized I was missing part of my order and returned about 30 minutes after my purchase. I went through the drive- thru again since there were no cars in line and gave them my receipt and explained what I was missing. The girl at the register closed the glass but I could hear another girl screaming "I packed her order and I know what I put in there! What is she claiming!" The cashier opened the window and told me that everything was in my bag and that there was no error. I explained to her that NO it wasn't correct but they refused to believe me. HOWEVER, they did offer to give me my missing items IF I wanted to place another order. Ummmmm........ really???????? Did they think I WANTED to drive back to the restaurant at 9:00 at night, in the rain, JUST to con them out of a cheeseburger and onion rings? OH H3LL NO! They will NEVER get money from me again. So. Anyways. That's just a long way to say. Check your bags at this so called restaurant because THEY DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO DO SO. read more

First I have to say, I love Dairy Queen. I love the burgers, blizzard's, and everything else this restaurant has to offer. I was very satisfied with the product and the quality of customer service that each staff member offered when I first walked in. I was very satisfied with my visit, until I sat down. I looked to my left, and I saw a post of the holiday hours for the restaurant. The piece of paper tapped on the door, went through the different dates that the restaurant was closed on (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years). Now before I go further I realize that it is hard for all restaurants to recognize every single holiday celebrated in the winter by different ethnicities and religions (especially for time off for the employees because that depends on their backgrounds). However, this sign had no recognition of Chanukah, Kwanzaa, or any other non denominational holiday. Not only did this post not do such, but the sign proceeded to say Merry Christmas. I was extremely upset as this obviously showed the little care to the other religions practiced in the United States of America. It's hard to include every holiday, and have each holiday's decorations presented (the restaurant had Christmas decorations), but its not hard to show recognition of other religions and instead of saying "Merry Christmas", say "Happy Holidays". Some of you reading this will think I am making a big deal out of nothing, but I have lived my life with little recognition of my religious practices and customs. I am just trying to make a difference, even if it is one small restaurant at a time. I think this could change and I hope it does, but until then I will not step in this establishment.
