The morning crew at this Dairy Queen is the best. I'm from Brandenburg, and I go out of my way to eat at the Maldraugh location because of their cleanliness, customer service, and food. They make the best breakfast sandwich (toast, bacon , egg, cheese, mayo, tomatoes, and extra pickles). They even cut it in half for me. Thank you, morning crew. The Dairy Queen at 118 Dixie Hwy, Muldraugh, KY 40155 seems to be going downhill. The managers, Sarah and Michelle are disrespectful to other employees in front of customers. They talk down to other managers and call them names. They ask why regulars keep coming up there everyday. If you work there and won't cover a shift when Sarah calls, she'll show up at your house banging on your door. Sarah tells employees they are not allowed off. And she expects everyone to work with you are medically or physically hurt. I would not recommend this place to eat inside or to work under Sarah or Michelle. The DM Molly does not take reports about Sarah and Michelle seriously so they do not get in trouble for their horrible behavior. Sarah, Michelle, and Molly are rude to many customers and employees. Pretty sad hours say open until 10 pm but they have the doors locked at 9pm. Crew inside waving us to drive threw. No then yours hours should say indoor seating until x time and drive through until 10pm. read more

Probably the funkiest DQ that we've been to in recent years. No ice, tables were dirty, chocolate smeared on the back of the seat from a previous customer, trash cans with no bags while staff was on break. Not good. Cashier was friendly, burger was lukewarm, not a good experience. If you're thinking about eating here, do yourself a favor and keep driving. read more

This Dairy Queen is alright when it comes to desserts. But be warned eating the food here comes at a risk. This place is so poorly managed and food prep is a joke. Every time a I order a hamburger it is always cold and slapped together that I actually have to rebuild it. I ordered 3 hammers meals at 1:30pm and did not receive them until 2pm....you would have thought they were making everything from scratch specifically for me since they were not busy at all. Don't really understand the science behind a blizzard, but when you hand It to me upside down and it's spills out onto the ground, and you quickly hand it to me like, "hope he didn't see the cup of soup I'm basically handing him fall out" and then I ask for another.... And you again hand me soup.. I didnt want to wait the 10+ minutes to get a refund because if you can't work an ice cream machine, highly doubt you can give an accurate refund. Where's the management? I can see why this location has such a crap rating. Showed up today at about 3:00. Wanted an orange Julius to give me a little pick me up. Pulled to the speaker. Sat there for a full minute before saying "hello?" Sat there another full minute. Decided maybe the speaker is broken. Rolled up to the window where I then heard the man say, "How can I help you?" On the speaker. Too late now I already rolled up. No biggie in my opinion. It was not busy...there was no line...just figured I would order at the window. Apparently this was a huge mistake on my part. As soon as I pulled up to the window I was reprimanded by whoever it is at the window. Shaved head guy. Receipt says Megan, but I highly doubt his name is Megan. He immediately says "I got ice cream on the front line". Ok.... Sorry, I don't speak Dairy Queen. I just said okay. Then he said "Seriously, I'm the only one here." Okay... So should I leave at this point? Do you need my business? Mind you I haven't even been able to say anything yet and this is what I'm greeted with. I was honestly afraid to order anything after this, but I awkwardly ordered my orange julius, because honestly I really wanted one...with the intention now of absolutely never returning. After this as if it isn't enough... he proceeds to chit chat with whoever is in the restaurant and then says "nobody has patience today.". Sir, I can hear you...and I wasn't impatient. I actually waited 2 minutes and said hello and no one greeted me, so I would think that's my cue to roll up to the window. I actually didn't have a problem with it. You're the only one who had an issue. Then when I receive my drink after he's cussing at the cup because he overfilled it wiping it down, he hands me an overfilled cup not all the way wiped down!
