Very sweet service! I entered and put in my order with such a kind staff. They helped me with my card as it kept declining but found out it wasn't properly pushed in. The setting is comforting and really nice overall. Food came out delicious and crispy. The chicken makes my stomach growl every time! It's so tasty and cooked to perfection! The Dairy Queen on Memorial has very rude employees and always long wait times. Tonight my family went to get ice cream and they closed early. The 3 employees were too busy cleaning to take care of customers before the store actually closed. I do agree it is an older store and needs lots of TLC but customers should come first. Our order was sitting on the shelf getting cold for several minutes before someone finally noticed that we hadn't been served yet. When we finally did get our food, my basket literally only had 7 fries, soggy cold untoasted bread and no strawberry filling in the blizzard as requested. Poor high school employees all looked lost & were so disorganized. Ordered a chili dog and strawberry sundae for myself and a burger combo and Blizzard for my son. I received the Chili dog first, in a bag on it's end. I expected the chili to run out but it didn't. It didn't because it was cold. The hotdog was cold, the chili was cold and the bun was cold. Not refrigerator cold so much as air-conditioned room cold. There was no evidence of the slightest attempt to microwave the thing. How do you send a cold chili dog out the window? I know they had it made ahead of time and didn't give it to someone. 3 different people handed parts of my order out the window. Horrible. Blue slushies tasted awful. Chocolate ice cream machine was broken. Asked for a refund for 2 slushies and she tried to give us 55 cents. We said that was wrong and then she gave us $1.10. Which again was wrong. After waiting 15 minutes we decided to just leave. Cones were also stale. Bad service and bad food. Pulled up to the drive thru and was told they needed a "second" before we ordered. We waited 10 full minutes before they even got back on the intercom, had to repeat our order MULTIPLE times despite speaking clearly and loudly (girl said "my bad, what was the drink again" at least 3 times), my blizzard was dripping out of the cup, my boyfriend's wasn't even all the way full, and then didn't even get our dipping sauces when we got home. Driving around with the son today after washing the car decided we would stop by for some lunch and shakes and things. Thought it was odd that nobody was there on a Sunday but hey lucky us right?!? NO! First off, that was the rudest bunch of staff I have ever seen! While I was ordering, I had to speak to not one but FOUR different people and they all were "short" and not wanting to listen to specific sandwich instructions my son wanted...like no mayo no onion...and were trying to rush me along. Then, I get to the window, it is then a one of them stated she could not complete my order cause they did not have any biscuits for the chicken and biscuits combo I wanted...then she handed me melted shakes and blizzards and shorted me not one but TWO cokes. Told her about her shortage, she still only hands me ONE drink. All along I did maintain my composure....Then, I begin to look in the bag and was missing two fries? Like really? Y'all were NOT busy? I spent 33$ for my blood pressure to be elevated and for my family to be shorted food and to have some subpar melty shakes that had some kind of weird taste to the chocolate one and blizzards for this hot day! By far the WORST DQ i have ever been to.. i only go here for ice cream but every single time we go in the wait is excessively long which isn't the main concern. The problem is every single visit the order is wrong. Our order is ALWAYS a large reeses blizzard and a small salted caramel truffle, which comes with chocolate ice cream. The blizzard is usually okay but hardly any resses candy in it and the truffle ALWAYS has vanilla ice cream NOT chocolate. I tried to explain once to the employee that if is supposed to be chocolate and she argued with me that it comes with vanilla.. most of the staff is horrible and management needs to retrain them, it sucks for the few that are great there though but i will NEVER go there again even though its only a couple minutes from my house ill drive across town to a different DQ if need be. read more

Rude service. I ordered the chicken wrap. I have ordered these for years, never a problem. I asked for a grilled wrap, lettuce and cheese only. The employee had to ask 2 other employees how to ring that up, no biggie. We received our food after a good 10-15 minutes, crispy chicken and tomato on my wrap. I kindly told her that I ordered it grilled, repeating how I would like it. I'm sitting at my table and I can hear the employees talking about it. Really? She returns to my table, no lettuce on it. I kindly asked for a side of lettuce. She replied "you just told me you only wanted cheese." I said cheese and lettuce. This honestly wouldn't be a big deal if the employee would've been nice and professional about it. She returned to the kitchen where she again talked to the other employee about what i said. Really? Listen...DQ has been around a LOOOONG time and they are everywhere. I've been to DQs across the country, but this one is definitely one of the worst. I think they just need to raise the bar on hiring and training. Lots of kids working there, and they have some really rotten attitudes. This DQ is right around the corner from us, and we like to stop in for a quick cone...a dip cone! In the last 4 trips, they've messed up the order 3 times...and then gave me a real attitude when I pointed it out and told them what I had ordered. Here's the order...1 medium chocolate cone and 1 medium dip cone...that's it! They either bring a vanilla cone and a dip cone....or a vanilla cone and a chocolate cone...and when I tell them that isn't what I order, they stare at me...or one young man stares at the wall for about 15 seconds. We thought we'd give them another chance today...same order...and apparently the soft serve machine sputtered melted ice cream into my dip cone. Instead of pitching it in the trash, and giving me a full frozen cone...they filled the slush in the bottom with frozen soft serve, dipped it...and handed it through the window with melted ice cream dripping through the napkins they tried to wrap it in. By the time I got home...less than 5 minutes...I was pretty much wearing it. So...DQ owners...train your staff! You just lost a repeat customer tonight! read more
