Family friendly, local coffee shop. Plenty of parking along the back of the restaurant. The ambiance is warm, rustic, and inviting. We came for brunch with my little niece. The food was made fresh as well as the coffee. We had the pop-tart (strawberry), wakey-waffle, grilled Italian caprese, chicken caesar salad, real pumpkin latte, and vanilla latte. The drinks were just okay, but the food tasted better. I loved that they had a kids area for little ones to color, play board games, and read. My niece loved the desk area where she can play. We walked in and we immediately liked the vibe of the coffee shop, even though the outside seemed like it was one of those industrial area, coffee shops. It was a little hard to find, but when we walked in, we like that, it was very picturesque and it had a top floor to lounge in. My cousin ordered first and the cashier that helped her was kind of cold and uninviting. The cashier that I got was very friendly and suggested one of the seasonal latte which I ended up loving she offered to take the food and drink upstairs for me. We decided to sit in the couch upstairs, but when our order was done, they just called our names out and we had to go back downstairs to get it so we decided to not go back up. The breakfast burrito was delicious and I like that the tortilla had a signature wrap. The Latte had a design in it, which was fun. My only issue was the fact that the waffles in the picture that the owner posted look nothing like the waffles. I actually got. Don't get me wrong. The waffles were delicious, but they were kid size and definitely not what I expected based off the pictures. Drinks: this was best part. They have a really good selections of milk substitutes to accommodate everyone. The flavors have a good selection too. Food: it's was just ok. Not as tasty I had imagine. It was very bland to me. Service: blah. It almost felt like I was a chore to them and when I asked for suggestions it was just a short answer and straight face. A little birthday breakfast this morning. I absolutely love this little spot. I consider it urban-intimate (yep my own description). It has the urban coffee shop feel but several little intimate type seats so you can quietly chat with friends. Nice selection of menu items from coffee (of course), breakfast sandwiches (waffled ) and omelets (waffled). You can go all sweet, all savory or a great combination of both. Always greeted with a smile and pretty quick service. Weekends are pretty busy but during the week you can find seating and not feel like you need to move to make a place for someone else. 1-2 tables can accommodate a larger group of about 6 but mainly 2-4 seats/table. I came on my way to work. The parking was in the back which was tricky for me. It was a group meeting so they were getting their orders together. They did engage as soon as I entered. I had a request related to my tea and he actually made me a new one (which he didn't have to do). I did appreciate the concern for getting it right. My husband surprised me on Friday March 1, 2024, with taking me out for breakfast. I was so stoked. We haven't done this in a long time. We are new to Tennessee and more specifically Murfreesboro. It's located in a very secluded area, nice...it's an area where you have to intentionally drive there. As we walked it, breath taking decor. It's like a "hometown" Starbucks. We ordered and the lady at the counter was pleasant. We sat down and waited for our food. You'd think the amount of wait the food would've been fresh ‍. NO! I ordered the avocado toast and my husband ordered a platter which what came to the table was an "up charge" platter. I told him you should say something, he said that's ok. He took a bite of the eggs and asked me to taste it. I gave him a look like why? As I opened my mouth to eat what he had ready for me to taste, I didn't hesitate to put the whole scrambled eggs in my mouth. Usually, a normal person would start to chew. I COULDN'T! One it was COLD, two it was RUBBERY, third it was NOT EDIBLE! I spit it out onto a napkin. My avocado toast was ok. At least even though the avocado was not fresh, it was still edible. We usually give a restaurant a second chance, because it just might be they're having a "bad day" We decided NO! Not a chance! The reason? Well, I told the lady at the counter about our experience with the eggs. Her response? Oh yeah...I don't like the eggs here! ‍‍ WHAT??? We did not really enjoy this place. Nothing was terribly wrong, but it was definitely not my favorite. I drink a lot of coffee, both good and bad, and we found both the dark and medium roasts here to be very bitter. It just wasn't good coffee. Everyone else seemed to get the espresso-based drinks, so their traditional coffee might go overlooked. The food was ok, but in no way do they cut it as $9 meals. The menu boards are non-descript, so I had to ask alot of questions about what was in each option. The burrito was OK (like something you might make at home), but more than half of the cheese didn't actually make it in the waffled burrito. Food taste was OK at least, but in a frozen food Hot-Pocket kind of way. The place was clean and relaxing though, and we enjoyed the atmosphere for the most part - although I think the Saturday morning gospel music was a strange touch. This is not a fully vegan restaurant I just called and they don't even have a vegan option. Reply to Owner: there is a review on here that states that you are fully vegan. So I researched your website, and although it does appear that you might be vegan from your about story, because you talk about caring about the community, but upon further research, and then calling you, I was told that you are not fully vegan and that you do not even have a vegan option available. On many occasions I have gone out of my way off the interstate to stop at a restaurant because of the vegan reviews on yelp. While I've visited the West location several times, I had not been to the original location (now referred to as "East") until recently. The vibe here is far better than the one at West; it's just unique and a well thought out space. I love the decor...reminds me of a shop you'd find in a major city, but not a smaller city like Murfreesboro! Since the breakfast food at the West location has been pretty good, I thought I'd try a sandwich here for an early dinner. I ordered the Grilled Italian Caprese. The presentation was lovely. Unfortunately, the taste was not. The tomatoes were mealy, and I eventually pulled them off. I didn't taste (or see) any basil. The sandwich was rather bland, so I tried dipping it in the side of balsamic vinaigrette served alongside it. That definitely didn't help. Salad dressing in a soufflé cup does not make for a good dipping sauce for a pressed sandwich. I think a room temp balsamic vinegar would be a better choice for this...and some sea salt. The chips were just fine -- they reminded me of the bagged kettle chips from Panera. But the pickle spear...yuck. I have no idea what was wrong with it, but it did not taste good. I really like pickles, but something about that spear tasted...off. I didn't eat all of it. I had a raspberry Italian soda with my meal, which was good -- just pricey for the "large". I'd hate to see the small.... I later ordered a house coffee, and it was delicious. A total win there. Overall, I love the vibe of this spot and the coffee was a total win. For those reasons, I would not hesitate to go back...but I will definitely order something different food wise! read more

Coffee shops are a great place to hang out with friends, study, or grab a small bite to eat. While stopping in Murfreesboro I was craving something quick, but still fresh. I came across this place on the web and headed over there. It's tucked in the veryyyyyy back of a shopping center. It's actually very tricky to find, and we drove around the center three times before finding it. When we did finally find it there was very limited parking, as it was packed! Mid-day on a Sunday, we grabbed one of the very last open tables. They had a great breakfast and lunch menu, and specialty coffee drinks. It all tasted great, though the baristas were not overly friendly. They seemed mad that we needed a minute to look over the menu for a minute (despite no line at the counter), they weren't very welcoming. So great food but poor customer service. read more
