Love their burgers, one of my favs when craving a fast food burger! Their ice cream is consistently good too.

Horrible staff that seem to care more about their own convenience than any amount of customer service.

Pretty much nothing great to say about this place. Inside of the restaurant is dirty, employees don't make the cones and Sundays right & the food is worse than McDonalds. This place is only alive because the DQ franchise is a well known name. If it wasn't for the word "Blizzard" this place would be useless. But don't let that fool you, your blizzard will be served with a lid because it's half way melted when served. read more

James and Matt ran the drive through so smoothly and quickly during my visit. I used to come here all the time in my childhood, and it was nice to see two friendly faces running a tight ship still. I pulled up to my local dairy queen 10 minutes before they closed. I was waiting all day to get a blizzard for my mom because we had both been busy working all day. when i got there i sat in the drive thru for a minute or two waiting for someone to come over the intercom but they never did, i started talk saying hello wondering if anyone was there, 5 mins later a rude young man walks out and very disrespectfully tells me they are closed. The store still had all lights on and appeared to be open and the sign on the drive thru menu said 10am-10pm. I proceeded to tell him that they closed at 10 and I was just trying to get an ice cream really quick and he very rudely tells me "well we closed early tonight" before walking away. this is unacceptable and the way I was treated was very disrespectful. read more

Walking in was like entering a drama movie. I kicked a full trash bag on my way in the door that left some kind of juice on my foot, super grossed me out. There was constant yelling and arguing coming from the people on shift. Especially the manager, who was yelling at the employees about candy on the floor. There was a two inch flood in the back of the kitchen that people were sloshing through Worst part of it all, there was a younger (under 18 y.o) boy working and he ELECTROCUTED himself on the metal countertop while making my blizzard. When he made a comment about it to his manager she told him HE DIDNT HAVE THE RIGHT SHOES. It appeared this was not the first time they had this discussion. It appeared well known that tables electrocute workers in this environment and to prevent being electrocuted to wear rubber soled shoes. I think it is absolutely INSANE that a child is getting electrocuted while at work, while standing in a flood of water. I also think it's insane that there is a giant pile of trash in the middle of the entrance that was still there when I left. The manager seemed very aggressive so I was worried to say something while there.. but I think this is a dangerous scary workplace for all employees especially the underage ones who respect authority and what their managers say and don't know how to stand up to that say it's not okay that they get electrocuted at work... read more

Service and employee attitudes are terrible. Ever since management changed this place has gone down hill real fast. Rude employees, food isn't consistent and the manager of the store is as rude as his employees. I've talked with other people in the area that have has similar experiences. I hate giving bad reviews but this was pretty ridiculous. First thing that went wrong, when I ordered the person at the register totaled out my order before I was done(which wasn't a big deal) so I had to wait a bit longer for the rest of my food(like I said no big deal). When I arrived home we discovered that they had gotten the wrong burger (a flame thrower instead of a loaded A1 stack burger) this is a problem because my wife doesn't like tomato or too much spice. We had gotten an unsweet tea but instead got a diabetic sweet tea. The nail in coffin was upon the first bite of a cheese curd my wife got a huge hair in her mouth that was hard to even pull out. Horrible customer service!! Ineffective, abusive and incompetent. Ordered ONE sundae. Apparently, that's too much to order all at once. Because, I watched a clerk throw my cup on the floor, shake her head, yell and have a fit. All in the five minutes I waited at the window for either my sundae or information. After I drove off (because I'm not eating anything that fell on a DQ floor) I called to try to speak to someone competent and responsible. The manger proceeded to yell about her machines and her inability to freeze ice cream while blaming me for ordering ice cream (not kidding). This place needs an overhaul. I have been going to Niceville DQ for over 20 years. Since the remodel the service has been less than stellar. For the last 3 visits the shakes are more like chocolate milk then being a thick shake, before the remodel they were great. I will try one more time, if nothing has improved than I will be going to the one in Freeport even though it is 40 miles round trip. read more

I saw an employee walk out to the drink station, with the metal ice scoop ON his head, he took it off, and scooped the ice, the ice scoop was on his hair, not a hairnet, but directly on his head. I will not be going to this DQ again. read more

I love how close this Dairy Queen is to the house and that they are clean and friendly. They really made my husbands day by putting whip cream on his hot fudge sundae in the shape of a football helmet. Ice cream is great too. read more

I have no negative comments for Dairy Queen. They do what they do well. I know it's not "high cuisine," and not even particularly good ice cream. But for what you're buying the quality is pretty good. The one thing I would offer in regard to Dairy Queen in Niceville is that in my opinion traffic turning onto Hwy 20 from the Dairy Queen exit (near the drive-through). This is one of the most dangerous entrances on that stretch of road, and serious accidents have happened there. People have died in some of those accidents. Crossing traffic is going fast there...often 55mph or more (35mph zone, by the way). Coming out of DQ and turning left to go East on Hwy 20 is very, very dangerous in mid-day traffic. If your kid is driving to Dairy Queen, if he needs to turn left (east) tell him or her to turn right onto John Sims/Hwy 20, and simply go to the next light and do a "U-turn." It might save his life. read more

If you go through the drive thru the customer service is pretty much non existent. The short older lady working the window today at around 430pm lacked what dairy queen is all about customer service and great food. She made us feel like we were bothering her making faces just because we wanted condiments, the things she should already ask if we wanted some. read more

I was waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I understand that any day can be busy. But my window was down and one of the customers was talking to the other outside, I guess they was on break but she was yelling out loud using bad language basically saying she doesn't understand why there's a line that we should all go home. i brought my son in today for lunch. he loves their tenders. i ordered a chili dog for myself (his kids meal and my meal cost the exact same). when the food comes out my chili dog is crusty and blackened looks down right nasty. i ask the lady if i can exchange it for 2 tenders (kids meal portion) and she tells me no. but she can get me a hot dog with only cheese. needless to say. i went hungry and i threw away $5 worth of food. not worth it and i left very unhappy at their inability to satisfy clients needs. read more

I constantly visit this Dairy Queen because it is less than a mile from my house and am consistently disappointed. I was willing to overlook some shortfalls because I had tried new items on the menu and simply attributed it's failures to being new. Until 3 times in a row I received a Peanut Buster Parfait that was inconsistent and inedible. One time it had too much fudge and not enough ice cream. One time the peanuts were so bitter they were nearly enedible. It was as if they were burnt during roasting. Then, I received a Peanut Buster Parfait that looked wrong from the reception. It only had two chocolate layers but I let it slide because they looked thick. Only to find out it wasn't the fudge but the overly rich chocolate syrup they use to flavor other chocolate desserts. I would give them a zero for quality control but the shear fact that it's so close and the only one within 20 miles means at some point I'll be weak or drunk enough to roll the dice again. read more
