Italian ice, gelato, cookie butter crumbles. "I'm not sure," I thought to myself. Maybe I should just go on to McDonalds and get sundae. I know that variable. But, it was too late to leave without ringing the bell... I ordered the strawberry shortcake. Small. (it's not small... There's at least as much above the rim as in the cup.) And the short story. Mind blown. The ice isn't icy. It's the texture of cake. Cold strawberry cake. The cookie crumbles blend perfectly. The cream balances the whole thing. Tried Jeremiah's Italian Ice for the first time yesterday! They serve layered Italian ice cups that include Italian ice, soft serve, and toppings. Their approach to Italian ice is a little different because their Italian ice is not simply fruit flavored. They're had a peanut butter flavored ice, chocolate flavored ice etc. when we pulled up, we were a bit overwhelmed by the menu and needed time to look at everything. When we pulled up to the window, the worker was so sweet and nice. She didn't rush us and offered samples for us to try. I was r a huge fan of the peanut butter Italian ice but I did enjoy the fruit flavors. I opted to get the lemon and raspberry ice swirled. The kids got blue razz and cotton candy swirled. Both were good but I really enjoyed the lemon/raspberry combo. It was so refreshing on a hot summer day. They have 4 or 5 size options. They are a tad pricey for the amount that you get (I think a small is like $4.89 and medium is $5.89 ish). Feel like the small (because it's only like 10oz) should be more inline with like a kids' dessert price because it's teeny tiny. Other than that, we really enjoyed it and will go back. read more

My return trip, I opted for cookie butter crumbles instead of the mini chocolate chips. The mini chocolate chips were so plentiful, it was a bit too much for me. But the cookie butter crumble was the perfect layered add-on. And to return the favor, if you're ever in the Sacramento area, stop by Guther's Ice Cream and order a 50/50. It's a fruit freeze layered with vanilla ice cream. Need some incentive ... Gunther's has been around since 1940. Or stop by Davis, CA and order a real fruit freeze at Ikeda's California County Market. SIZING: You can order by cup or cone with sizes ranging from "tadpole" to "bullfrog." My photo is the medium. Every time I visit Florida, I have to stop at Jeremiah's. Every flavor of Italian ice is amazing. The service was great as my brother-in-law got the wrong item and they gave him a free one and a free voucher. The place is super cute with bright colors. Stopped by for a sweet treat and this place did not disappoint. I got a small (which was the perfect size for one person) with coconut, p-nutty, and cookie butter -- topped it off with vanilla soft serve, and wow... the perfect combo. Creamy, flavorful, and super satisfying. My wife got the Oreo mud pie and loved every bite. One of the workers overheard my wife loving the Oreo crumble and ended up surprising us with a side cup of extra crumbles. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone had great energy and made the experience even better. It's rare to find a place with great desserts and great people -- but this place nailed it. We'll definitely be back! read more

Love the building repurposing. And I recommend the scoop froggy frog (mint chocolate chip) with no ice cream but added Oreos swirled in.

Very refreshing treat. I like the way you can mix the variety of Italian ice flavors with soft serve. The small size packs a good amount of goodness. The drive-thru backs up pretty quickly and clogs up the parking lot so you may want to park in the nearby shopping area and walk over. read more
