We were told they were out of the cherry dip so I asked the kids if they would eat their cone with a chocolate dip. I ordered two cones with chocolate dip and chocolate ice cream. I don't frequent this DQ often due to consistently poor customer service--but this visit deserves a review. I came in for an ice cream cone but wasn't sure which flavor I wanted. To my surprise, cherry-dipped cones were available. Torn between that and another option, I asked for a small sample of the cherry coating to help me decide. To my disappointment, I was told no. I asked again, explaining that even a half-spoon sample would help me make a decision. The server still refused, saying they don't give out samples. I asked to speak with the manager, who also said no--repeatedly and firmly. I said then what I'll say again here: "You'd rather lose a sale than offer a customer a tiny sample?" Still, the answer was no. I walked out. It's 2025--what kind of place doesn't offer samples anymore? This DQ continues to be a frustrating experience and would benefit from better customer service and more thoughtful management. I'll continue to give business to other franchise creameries. Place is clean upon entry, we were greeted by the cashier but oh man- he is so incredibly quiet so hard to hear what he was saying the whole time, we felt bad for asking him to repeat himself so often. The menu they have hung is outdated, very outdated. Thankfully I could still order the chocolate strawberry dipped blizzard and my gf was also able to order her popcorn shrimp, which was very yum by the way. Haven't been to Dairy Queen in quite awhile. I know it's pretty commonplace here in the mainland USA, but all the locations on Maui have closed back home, so the experiences only really live in my childhood memory. Plus, the ones on Maui were completely different, in that they sold local dishes too. I mostly remember eating thinly sliced teriyaki beef sandwiches and gun lo mein - definitely not typical to the Dairy Queens here. I do remember they had the Dilly bars, which my mom loved though. The hot fresh crinkle cut fries with mustard/mayo mix were always a favorite. In any case, my S.O. and I had just ordered from Zaxby's next door, but needed a shake of some sort to wash it all down. What better place than DQ? The menu is huge, and if we hadn't already gotten food, I would've ordered more. We ended up getting the Cookie Dough Blizzard, which was really good, but the first few bites reminded us of the non-perishable movie theater boxed cookie dough. Not sure if that's necessarily bad, but just keep that in mind if you're gonna get it. I definitely wouldn't have tried the "upside down trick" on this, even though my fiancé wanted to lol. It was mixed more like a shake and definitely not as thick to pull that off. With great, friendly service and a huge menu, I'll definitely be back. Well... Dairy Queen has been an old staple of mine for guilty pleasures for cheap like slushies and shakes. So let's be honest, either they make it quick and tasty with a smile or it's a slow painful ordeal and they mess up the order... sigh I kept it simple, blizzard of the month with 2 sides... fries were hot, onion rings were crispy, and the blizzards were WRONG. No biggie, right? Ahhhh.. it is if they give you Take5 blizzards, your son is allergic to peanuts, and you ordered Oreo blizzards. The guy at the drive-in window was pretty cool. He clarified the order, seemed a little miffed but politely asked us to pull up and wait. Here's where the 2star rating comes in... A woman with a headset came out with the corrected blizzards in each hand came to our window and instead of saying ANYTHING like, " sorry for your wait, here's your corrected order..." she chose to hand over the cups and tell us,"YOU ORDERED TAKE 5 BLIZZARDS" ... excuse you????? Sometimes you just flat out run out of suggestions for lunch and just need something quick and cheap to eat. The $5 box from Dairy Queen hits the spot every time. I always order the chicken tenders and fries with country gravy on the side. No dipping sauce. I use the gravy as my dipper. Try it out you just might like it. You get two chicken tenders. Good size. The meal also come with a drank and a sundae. Caramel is my favorite. What can you lose for $5? The only slight complaint I have is that I swear they count the french fries they gave you. You aint getting no more than about 10. Lol no lie. But again all of this is $5 total. Don't give them people a hard time about them french fries. read more

I've been going to this location for 13 years and it's just continued decrease in quality and consistency. Got home and my burger had old wilted lettuce and didn't have onion, pickles nor tomatoes on it (communication that they were out would've been appreciated). My mocha moolatte was blonde in color and lacked all coffee and chocolate flavoring ( at home I blended coffee and shaved chocolate in it myself). If I could leave a zero, I would. This restaurant that, by the way I have been loyal to for the past 6 years, disappointed me deeply today. I will admit I came decently close to closing time, but still this does not excuse the behavior of this staff. I came 20 mins before closing, and a car had already ordered before I had pulled up. I came to the sign where you order and it played an automated message staying the place had already closed, well guess what, it didn't. So like any person would do I went to the window and decided to just order there, thinking this must have been a mistake. Well it wasn't. Once I had pulled up to the window the car that had been sitting for what seemed like forever was still there awaiting their meal. After about 6 mins, I started wondering what could have possibly gone wrong to where a fast food resturant would need to take 14 mins for 1 persons order. Then when I was starting to loose my patience, the lights turned off on the drive through. Which was rude to not just me, but the person that had already payed for their food. I and the person awaiting their food honked hoping for a response. This was now 3 mins before closing. The person that had payed already lucky got there food. But I, I wasted my good 20 mins waiting for absolutely nothing. This was so rude, I actually can not believe this happened. And you know what, it would have been a shorter amount of time for them to just make my order then having 1 car wait 20 mins for food, and me without anything. My son wanted a chicken wrap, but I didn't see it on the menu. I asked the lady at the drive thru if it was still a thing. She said it wasn't on the menu anymore but she'd be glad to make one for us. The chicken wrap was hot and fresh. We also bought a small Snickers Blizzard. I only got one bite of it, but that bite was delicious. On a later visit, we ate inside the restaurant. I liked the cheeseburger and mini Reese's Lover's Blizzard. The mini size is perfect if you want a little taste of ice cream as dessert with your meal. read more

This review is only for the ice cream since I do not eat food here. Stopped here while traveling in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and indulged in a late night snicker blizzard. It was tasty. The ice cream was rich and thick with a good amount of snicker bits, although more snicker bits would have been even better. This place is not known for serving real food so I imagine that the ice cream also has a bunch of fillers and questionable ingredients so I don't recommend too much indulging, but when you're in the mood to live a little on the edge this is a tasty treat. This time was of course wrong also so I went back thur the drive thur and the manger lady made it again and I checked it on the spot and it was wrong again so I told her and she fought with me on how my order is right. I am rating this place only on the ice cream cone(best soft served ice cream ever) that I get everyday, that's right I come here every single day for ice cream to support my running habit. (Go ahead and judge me I don't mind, ice cream make me happy) The food here is not great but the last time that I have DQ food was a couple years ago so maybe one day when I feel adventurous I will try their food. I must say that this is the MAC DADDY of all DQ, the establishment is clean and very well lit with patio seating so it's perfect to bring your kids for a late treat since they closes at 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends. I have eaten here previously and it wasn't great, but wasn't really bad. this week reached a new low. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and Moolatte at the drive through. The Moolatte was OK, but the burger was dangerously bad. I had 2 bites. On the second I discovered the "bacon". The bacon looked raw, but the meat in the fat was brown. The burger was over-cooked, dry and a little grey. The lettuce and cheese had congealed together into a gummy mess. I have lived here since 2016 and hate coming to this Dairy Queen because they are always short staffed and always screw up the order. TWICE I ordered a sundae with sprinkles hot fudge and Oreos. I get to the window and the lady confirms my order AND I repeat it to her. SUNDAE WITH SPRINKLES HOT FUDGE AND OREOS. She says ok then hands me a sundae without Oreos. As a driver for other customers in 2023 alone and it is July at this time I have had orders from this location about 25 times, at least 20 of those times I have left without the customers order, and canceled. Not because the restaurant is understaffed, but because of how overwhelmingly unpleasant, the staff is not to mention every single time I have showed up without a phone in my hand, so they couldn't know if I was a driver or a customer, which shouldn't matter anyway, and is not that hard to offer a person the common decency For a Pleasant welcome as any employee should do as good work ethic but no, I have to stand there for minimum five minutes which doesn't seem very long but when you're standing there waiting for an employee that seems like they are praying that you will just leave instead of having to actually do any work. It can feel like forever in my expert opinion with a little change in effort it could make a huge improvement in the morale of the store and the attitude of everyone in the store but I cannot judge. Yet another bad experience. Not sure how they stay in business. Went 4/21 into the drive-thru ... silence. Then you get a loud ghetto-sounding 'Hello?' I then go ahead with my order. Then I pause looking at the menu. "What else?' as if they were impatient that I was ordering. I asked, "Yes, let me get a large Oreo blizzard.' "What else?" as if this is how you're supposed to take an order of someone in the drive-thru window. I said 'No' and just drove around. I get to the window and instead of getting a 'Hello', you get a Pakistani dude looking down at your money. Three stars for regular menu items but add in the soft serve and atmosphere and it's 4 STARS. This is the nicest looking DQ that I've seen and after 'dining in' the other night, I almost left a tip. Very clean on the inside with a well-designed dessert station. Hit up another location if you can. This is the "stingy" Dairy Queen location my family tells jokes about. Whenever we come here we hold up our items and compare them for how skimpy they are with any premium toppings. The peanut Buster Parfait has like 20 peanuts and about a tablespoon of fudge on a huge cup of plain ice cream. If you get five complete onion rings in your order, you've really got your money's worth. Their "hot fudge sundae " has a plop of fudge and ice cream. If you want whipped cream or nuts they're all extra and they don't have cherries for sale at all. I think if they could sell you an empty carton, they would. Well, actually you do pay for ice water here too, so that's pretty close. I realize these are franchises and there is usually a "standard amount" like 2 pumps of ketchup or whatever, when they make items. I'm sure overdoing the extras too liberally costs money. However they are habitually tight fisted with any extra items. Whenever we drive by a different location we are genuinely happy to see plenty of napkins, condiments, and food that looks way more like the pictures in the menu!
