By far the worst experience recently had here. Most of the time food and service is good. However, the last time here was just awful. Ordered on the app and it would be around 15 minutes to pick up through the pick up lane. When they notified it was ready I was a line of cars which is unusual. People do not drive up unless they know it's ready, red flag for sure. Waited almost 15 minutes just to get to the window. Then told the person my name and he decided to do anything but grab the order. Five minutes later he becomes back and asks me my name again. Then goes back to doing whatever he was doing. This was our first visit to Shake Shack, and overall, it was a solid experience. I ordered the Double ShackBurger, and my wife tried the Bacon Avocado Burger--minus the bacon, plus pickles. Both sandwiches were fresh, well-prepared, and hit the spot. I was especially pleased to be able to request my fries without salt. They were basic crinkle-cut fries, but cooked just right--crispy and hot. I went back up to order a shake while my wife was still eating, and that part of the experience was slower than expected. The fries were just ok but were elevated by the truffle sauce (which comes on the side) and has a lovely kick without being overpowering or tasting artificial. The burger is average. My wife and I had lunch at Shake Shack in Alpharetta today. It was about 2pm, so not a rush time of day. My cheeseburger was fine but my wife's BLT was almost inedible. The bacon was actually cold. Even if they precook bacon it is pretty darn easy to heat it up before serving a BLT. read more

I passed on the fries, because they are not that good--I much prefer if they offered onion rings.
