I got 2 blizzards, and 2 shakes. A strawberry shake, chocolate shake, chocolate brownie blizzard and a salted caramel blizzard. The shakes were really good. Strawberry and chocolate. But my chocolate brownie blizzard tasted stale. Like when you leave a bag of chips out for a month and don't close the bag. It had a weird cardboard flavor I ended up going to the register and they switched it out for a shake instead. I got the orange creamsicle one and it tasted exactly like an orange creamsicle. The lady and gentleman at the register were fine. The lady in the back making the order was saying the brownies were good. But they had that old, stale, and nasty taste and it stayed in my mouth. Went in to get a soft serve. Instead of getting a freshly made one, I was told to have a seat with a number placard. Waited about 15 minutes and a server brought it out. Instead of a fresh out of the machine I was given a hard frozen cream. It was very dry and tasteless. Will never be back. read more

Went through the drive through and got a double backyard bacon ranch burger with onion rings. I see through the drive through window that my food is being pulled out of a microwave -- whatever, it's fast food. I got my bag and it smelled off but I never got this order before so I shrugged it off. I get home and take the food out of the bag and the burger smells rancid. I took the bottom bun off and the meat had those gross slimy bits that expired beef gets. I cut the burger open to check further and the smell was so bad I immediately gagged. I know Dairy Queen isn't super well known for their food but this is atrocious. Stop trying to give customers food poisoning. read more

After waiting for 5 minutes and hearing lots of laughter coming from the back, they returned the cake to me. Richboro, PA, is experiencing a big growth spurt with the closing of the Davis Auto Group facility in the center of town and the new businesses being developed in that large space. The cranes and construction workers are still there, but a couple of buildings are finished and the new look downtown is taking shape. Dairy Queen leased the space at the rear of the new office/retail structure at Second Street Pike just off the Bustleton Pike intersection. It is a little hard to find hidden way in back. The store itself is fairly small, with two rows of about a dozen booths and tables in front, cashier and kitchen in back and soda service area against the rear wall. Service is young, friendly and accommodating. The order taker was kind enough to point out that as I was there before 2, their $5 and $6 lunch specials were still in play. Cheeseburger, fries, soft drink and small sundae for a fin was good deal, so I went for it, except I knew I couldn't handle the dessert, so he gave me a coupon for a free one instead. Much appreciated. He even permitted me to swap the carbonated beverage for a small blizzard without upcharge. The package was okay when delivered to my booth, but not really inspiring. Fries were hot and crisp. The bun was not grilled, nor heated and could have used something to improve its plain white bread texture and taste. The 3 oz. burger was decent with onion, lettuce and tomato topping. The shake was a shallow imitation of the thick, rich and creamy 'Zzard of my childhood. Too watery. Not much flavor. A disappointment. Maybe something was missed in the downsizing for lunch. The whipped cream on top was more dominant that the mix beneath. So, while I might return, I would skip the cheap deal and go for their full bore burgers and blizzards to see if those were true to the DQ Brazier creed. This is the only drive-thru Dairy Queen that is near me, it is amazing!! When I arrived, the line was super long, but it went by really quickly! We ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait, Medium Strawberry Sundae, and a small Frosted Animal Cookies blizzard. We also ordered a two count of the chicken strips and an order of french fries. We all loved our ice cream, it was delicious and even came in a cute little bag! The food was also very fresh and warm, delicious!! We will definitely be back!! read more

Stopped by last weekend to check out the grill and chill concept from DQ with a bud of mine. Full brazier branches seem to be a bit rare around our way so we were looking forward to checking it out. The building is a new construct (It's the only structure currently open in the lot with active construction still ongoing) and you can easily tell, the branch is very well maintained, modernly structured, and a little over-staffed compared to a usual location. The staff was friendly, and i was surprised that food once ordered is delivered to you wherever you've chosen to sit. We opted for a booth by the front counter, booth seating as upholstered very well, and was a nice change of pace from some of the less comfortable seating arrangements during a few of the other pit-stops on our little trip. Opted to grab the $6 meal deal, and my god is it a deal. Fries were well portioned for a small, the sundae was fantastic as well. I opted for hot fudge which couldn't have been any hotter without physically steaming when it was first served. Drink options were what you'd expect the exception being Gold Peak sweet tea which was well stocked and fantastic, took the opportunity to put down several cup fulls of green, and sweet tea. The burger that came with the combo was alright. Pretty standard, no real complaints, but no real stand outs either. Bun was fresh, non-toasted, burger was nice and hot- but no real standouts in regard to flavor or seasoning, and the cheese was fine too. I'd call it a slightly higher quality, much more photogenic, and more appropriately priced version of a quarter pounder from the golden arches, sans pickle and onions. All in all DQ's doing a fantastic job at being what it's supposed to be, quick, cheap, easy, fast food with ice cream to boot. Ice cream was good but ordering was kindve disappointing. I went and ordered a chocolate brownie extreme and felt kindve rushed but I wasn't too upset with that, until I realized when my ice cream came that it was vanilla base. My fault I guess because I assumed chocolate brownies extreme I just thought it would be chocolate. I wish the guy had asked which ice cream I wanted :/. Then he gave me a number and I stood awkwardly in the empty restaurant with my number and when he brought it over it had no lid and if I asked for a lid he would've had to scoop ice cream off of it and that's ice cream abuse lol! So I drove home with it open and melting slightly in my car lol! Still good, but now I learned my lesson to specify what flavor ice cream and to tell them it's take out. read more

This DQ has been up the street from us for the past few years and we have never visited. Only after the covid lockdown did we start coming here...really just for something to do with the kids after our nightly walks. The young (teenage) men and women that work here are simply the best. So polite, so professional, just really great workers. The line was sometimes long, but it moved quickly and our ice cream orders were always perfect. We will remain customers here for a long time, just based on our experience during the lockdown. read more

This new Dairy Queen is one of the largest I have seen. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is generally good but they go very cheap on the toppings they put in their Blizzards. There were some toppings (not a lot) on the top and hardly anything throughout the rest. When this happened several times I decided to bring it to their attention. When I showed it to the manager he was very eager to correct the situation and gave me another Blizzard. I went back again and the same problem occurred. He addressed my complaint but didn't fix the problem with the staff who makes the Blizzards on a regular basis. I have never had this problem at any other DQ in the area. read more
