Long time, Dairy Queen customer. When I first moved here, I was warned about this place, but I ignored the warnings. Our last little while I've given him opportunity after opportunity, and they continue to disappoint. I get one being understaffed, but that's hardly over the case. You go through the drive-through you wait 20 minutes you go inside you wait just as long. I stopped ordering anything complicated and you still wait. I've kind of had it, love the sweet chili chicken tenders, but it's not worth the frustration. I get them. There's hardly any chili sauce on it. The fries are cold the other food's cold the toast is soggy. The weight has not been worth it. They just don't care, just like they don't care about this review that I'm leaving. I decided to go to DQ because the website said there was a BOGO for $.99 on blizzards right now. It didn't have any exclusions or restrictions or "you have to order on the app," just a "start an order" button. When I got to the drive-thru, I mentioned the deal and was informed it was only if I had ordered on the app. I countered that the deal was very clear on the website for their specific location. They argued back again that the deal was only available had I ordered through the app. In fact, even if you signed up for the app right now, you would have to wait 24 hours to claim the deal. I continued to counter--the website doesn't say anything about the app. It says I can start an order there on the website without signing in or going into the app. There is nothing indicating this deal isn't available at the drive-thru. Another employee joined the interaction and insisted I was wrong. I ended up abandoning my order and driving away angrily. I called back and asked to speak with the manager. Of course it was the same person I was arguing with before. I tried to explain that they let $60 worth of business today and my patronage as a customer permanently drive away over a few dollars. She continued to insist how wrong I was about the app. I told her they have a problem with what was advertised on the website and also a customer service problem. She never budged and I just hung up. Dear manager or owner: -It'a not about the few dollars I would have saved with the deal. I'm good for it. But your customer service is atrocious and your inability to use reasonable judgment and social skills is costing you money! -telling a customer how wrong they are isn't how to build a loyal following -I don't even live in Santaquin, but I drove all the way there because of an ad on your website with current dates clearly displayed. You wasted my time -obviously this was significant enough to me that I wanted to continue the conversation, but you had to win at all costs -update your website (stop false advertising) -why couldn't the manager even ask me, "I'm not familiar with that ad. Can you show me what you are seeing?" Then she would clearly have seen that there was no mention of requiring the app -even if I totally missed the restrictions or it was a misunderstanding on my part (which is not the case--I have gone back and checked 5 additional times!), why not seek to problem solve with me? "You know what, I'll just honor that for you today." or even, "I'm so sorry, I'm not allowed to honor that deal for you, but here is what I can do." -A little empathy goes a long way: "I am so sorry the ad wasn't clear/there was a misunderstanding." Not telling me how wrong I am! Here Is what the website looks like. I ask you, "Can you understand how someone would think this deal is available to everyone?!" I don't believe the adage of "the customer is ALWAYS right," but wow! Just wow! read more

We stopped by before a movie date and ended up waiting over ten minutes for our two small blizzards. By the time we tried our ice cream and realized they butchered it we were already several minutes away. I ordered a chocolate blizzard with Reeces cups and caramel and got a chocolate blizzard with Reeces and brownies. My husband ordered a chocolate blizzard with brownies and caramel and got a vanilla blizzard with brownies and caramel. I have a gluten intolerance so my husband ate my blizzard, huge disappointment! i've been to a lot of dairy queen's and this one was the first where they went EXTRA on the toppings. i got the health carmel brownie cupfection and my brother got the coco brownie extreme. we were both very pleased with our toppings ratio. 4 stars because service was a little slower than preferred but the girl seemed to be working alone so it's understandable. would be coming back often if i lived in the area read more

Clean, inexpensive and the only place you can get a Blizzard, this is a good franchise. Service can be slow during the peak hours but if you HAVE to have a Blizzard (Double Strawberry, in my case), the wait is worth the results! read more

I have ate at DQ before and have never had an experience like this one. My friend and I ordered a very simple order of a 6 piece chicken basket. After about 20 we still had not received our food. We started noticing that people who had came in after us were getting their food. 35 minutes had went by and I decide to talk to them. I went up where they make all the orders and the girl couldn't even find out receipt. We waited another 10 minutes and when our food came our order was wrong and food was cold. I was very unhappy with the service of this place and the slowness. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to give people their food. read more

I ordered a OREO blizzard and a cookie dough blizzard you would think it's a pretty easy order, they gave me a mint Oreo blizzard and they gave me a cookie dough Oreo blizzard. I was not happy with the service at all. read more

Been here a couple times. Food is good but has been coming out lukewarm or sometimes just room temperature. Also, the kids meal menu has a picture of a hot dog with ketchup and mustard but the actual item that comes out is a chili dog. read more

The only time we have had a good experience here was when an adult was working. I ordered a Philly steak sandwich and it was when there were only teenagers working. They didn't seem too keen on working. The sandwich was horrible. It was dry with little meat and no sauce whatsoever. The fries were over cooked. We won't be returning here again. I love their smooth, creamy ice cream sundaes! Unfortunately the quality of the ice cream is inconsistent. The last two times I've gone it's been icy and hard and tastes like ice milk instead of ice cream. It's happened on other occasiond too but usually I get a few good sundaes in between the ice hard ones. I can't imagine that they aren't aware when this happens. The ice cream even looks a little different when it's having this problem. I usually end up having to throw it away. So disappointing and a waste of money!!! read more

Mmmm!!! This DQ is so good! Food is always fresh. Employees are always nice. Do yourself a favor and get a chili cheese dog with onion rings. You won't regret it! Best chili cheese dog ever. I like the cheeseburgers too, but really anything you get here is deep fried deliciousness. Sometimes the drive thru can have a long wait but I don't mind. I actually drive from Spanish Fork because the food in SF is just not that great. Even after driving back to my house (15 min drive) food is still fresh/hot/yummy. This DQ used to be so good but then something happened and it just keeps getting worse and worse. First they changed the 6 dollar meal deal from a double to a single cheeseburger. Second they give very few fries and they are always brown and soggy. Lastly the barely give you any ice cream for sundaes and blizzards they give hardly any. it's terrible they need to hire more qualified people and something needs to happen to the management. just go to iceberg. read more

So if you're from a city or any civilized area and haven't spent much time in rural areas this place is totally worth a stop. Unfortunately, the reason it's worth a stop isn't for the food or service. I grew up in Nebraska, a town of 8,000, and I've spent plenty of time down south - and this may be the most backwoods area I've ever visited. The people here are something else - both workers and eaters. Because of that, the se she vice really, really sucked. The poor workers here simply aren't intelligent enough to be doing their jobs and their communication skills are awful. I reckon I'd pass on this place. read more

Fast Service, Good Treats and Food.

I have been going here for awhile and while it is "fast" food, you will have the wait time of a sit down restaurant. It is especially slow in the drive through. I've sat for 40 minutes in line before. Once you are in line you have to stay because there isn't a way out. When you finally get your food it is pretty good and has been fresh everytime. All in all, if you don't have anywhere to be, it is a great place to eat. read more
