    Cherry Slushie and 2 burgers
    Jonah C.

You're basic dairy Queen location in the local area. Parking lot is average, you're not waiting long in the drive-thru on most days, the food is mediocre but still something to enjoy if you need something quick or a pit stop. The prices are reasonable for the quality. I enjoyed my cherry slushie and two cheeseburgers. The co-workers there are pleasant and overall it was a good experience stopping at this location. Try not to drink the slushie too fast or you'll get brain freeze

We took a drive today with the nice sunny weather and the cheap gas prices due to the 2020 virus and ended up finding a Dairy Queen. I recently saw a commercial on TV for the new sweet & tangy chicken tenders AND IM FILLING MY FACE NOW!! Inside is obviously closed and everyone seems to be waiting I. The drive thru line. All nice & patiently. I have to say that the DQ workers were wicked quick in moving the line and everything we ordered, 3 meals, was just as ordered. Awesome. The new tenders are wicked good and as always the cheese curds are delish! Thank you for serving us :)

Who ever she is has great customer service.

I don't get to eat DQ often. It's not bad, I would 0refer to eat here then another fast food. The cashier was the absolute best. I enjoyed my experience

When I'm in a rush and on the run I grab a half pound burger from Dairy Queen and have some fun. If you leave without a delicious shake you have truly made a big mistake. God bless all my fellow foodies Always.

We got flatbreads, nachos, Mac and cheese, wings and an order of hush puppies. They left more than half of everything and said it was just ok. I spent $120 between food and drinks.. but the real kicker is *it's not a real restaurant* you go up and order like a Burger King and then you go up and pick up like Burger King but they still want a 20% tip. so I don't know what they want their 20% tip for when no one comes to you, no one checks on you. No one to ask you how it is. they don't care. also, they only sell single serve bottles of soda so there's no refills. We ended up spending like $22 on soda alone. * I noticed on their Facebook that they were complaining that people who were doing cornhole tournaments were bringing outside food and instead of reassessing their situation and what they're serving, they threatened to cancel the cornhole. If you served better food, people would buy it. It's not rocket science. Yours is 5/10 and there's other options out there that are cheaper and better than what you're currently offering. You don't take away the cornhole from people who are giving you any bit of business, you make it better for them.. so they want to buy it and they want to spend money and they want to eat your food. *since my teens aren't old enough to drink, there really isn't much to offer there in the way of food so we won't be coming back because there's no reason to.

My wife and I have driven by 308 Lakeside several times when visiting East Brookfield and have…read moretalked about stopping but for whatever reason did not. Today was "date night" so when look for a new place to checkout 308 Lakeside made the list, after reading a recent article on social media about new owners, we decided to stop for a late Sunday lunch. Once we found a place to park (parking is a challenge as they are victim of their own success so be prepared) We were greeted pleasantly by the hostess and promptly seated. They had a duet performing live music of pop covers. We were seated along the window overlooking Lake Lashaway. Nice view! Our server, Payton was very helpful and patient as this was our first time. Jessica the manager stopped by the table to check on us and introduce herself, after a nice conversation about this being our first time and the article highlighting the new owner, Payton returned with our beverages (raspberry tea, root beer and water). We ordered as a starter potato skins. In due course they were brought. These potato skins had a lot of potato still in the skins- making them the perfect carrier for the generous amount of cheese and bacon. Served with sour cream. Delicious! By this time we were ready to order. I ordered the French dip with fries. This is one of my favorite sandwiches and is a rarity these days. My wife ordered the stuffed portobello mushroom and house side salad. I also the limited menu item pretzel sticks, and a bowl of their chili to share with my wife. Payton was good to check on us and keep us hydrated. After a bit of time since we ordered (nearly an hour) Jessica came over and apologized for the delay and said the food would be out shortly, and comped us a dessert. The reason was totally out of their control and has no bearing on this review. One of the kitchen staff had an immediate family member pass away, leaving the kitchen short handed. It was gracious of Jessica to comp a dessert, we weren't in any hurry it being date night. The food was delivered as promised and exceeded expectations. I have to say the French dip was a solid #3 on my top ten list of French dips I have enjoyed in my lifetime. (#1 Rio Rico Resort in 1978 AZ, #2 The Colonial Restaurant in 1974 CT) My wife's portobello mushroom was one of the best she has had (being allergic to seafood and knowing her tastes I trust her review). The chili was good and we ended up bringing home. We would make the drive just for the chili. Pretzel sticks were server hot and were very light. The mustard base dipping sauce was some of the best we have enjoyed and perfectly suited for the pretzel sticks. For dessert we shared a piece of blueberry carrot cake with whipped cream. It was a delicious ending to our meal and first visit. The only detractors was the parking which I am not sure they can do much about (only a single handicapped space), we ended having to park up the road; and a tidying up- the men's room while the fixtures were clean, the floor has layers of soil from being mopped with dirty water (easy to rectify with occasional professional cleaning) and a partial beer bottle was left on top of the towel dispenser. In the room we were seated in, the acoustic ceiling panels just need a good dusting. Like a said those are but minor observations. The food was some of the best around and the service equally a standout. Highly recommend 308 Lakeside. We will definitely be back.

Well over cooked chicken tenders for starters. They appeared to be double fried, like they got tossed back in for a warm up or something. They were so dry and so extra crispy. The chicken quesadilla was a little better but still only finished two of the four slices. Oh well, we don't go for the food though. We go for the atmosphere, for the great bartenders, and the beautiful lake views!

As I once posted before, why is it so hard to find decent take out in this area?…read more My wife LOVES Mexican food and was excited over this place opening up. We had gotten take out before from Mexicali's, but seems better dine in vs take out. Underwhelmed is the best description considering the high hopes we had intended. I got the Carne Asade. They asked and I requested Med rare, steak came out well done and kinda dry and not much flavor. White rice had no flavor, included a salad that came with no dressing. Didn't even receive any wraps we thought were included. BTW: Why do these dopey restaurants put the "COLD" salad in with the "HOT" meal???? Thank god they don't have Ice cream! Otherwise, I might have found that in the container too! The salsa seemed good at first, but after a few bites with the greasy chips included, it was also bland, very little flavor. How about some Cilantro and Lime guys? Maybe a little Salt and Pepper? I've had a better experience at Chipotle's, and they're a CHAIN! There is a Framingham location, with rave (or fake) reviews. Maybe they need to send the cooks down to Leicester? Lift these dopey cooks up in the air by their shirt collar with one hand, then slap their faces back and forth all while saying: STOP PUTTING COLD SALAD IN WITH HOT FOOD! "SLAP"! "SLAP"! Honorable mentions: Cancun Family Mexican Restaurant in Kingston off route 3 (was a Ho Jo's back in the day) and Casa Vallarta Northborough near Walmart. As for Mexacali's..Ehhh...
