I walked in and there was somebody there waiting to pick up an order that was ordered online and he was waiting there for over 20 minutes and there was another one that was right after him I placed my order and I had to wait at least 30 minutes for my order. All I kept hearing from the mail server was that they were shorthanded, but they sure look like they had at least 10 people back there I will give credit to the manager who offered to refund my money. I went there on 12/12/24 at around 3:30pm. Line didn't take long. I ordered a $7 chicken strip meal deal. The soda had no syrup and they didn't give me any chicken strips. This has been my favorite DQ since I was a kid. And I have done my part to support them during this ridiculousness. HOWEVER, they have crossed the line with requiring drivers to wear masks in the drive thru! YES, YOU MUST WEAR A MASK WHILE IN THE DRIVE THRU!!! I feel incredibly sorry for the employees to be subjected to abuse by angry customers because of their ridiculous management!!! Out of respect for the employees, I did put my mask on before driving up to the window. But I am more concerned about how many other people the cashier collected money from & scanned cards with the same pair of plastic gloves before I drove up to the window!!! We heard that Dairy Queen is celebrating 80 years in business with running a buy one blizzard, get one blizzard for 80 cents special til March 15th. We arrived at 7pm and waited 30 mins for an order of 4 blizzard's. We felt badly for anyone who decided to go through the drive thru because they waited even longer. Was the wait worth it?? YES!! It was well worth the wait and the blizzards were delicious. We ordered the mint oreo, heath caramel brownie, snickerdoodle cookie dough and the harvest berry pie blizzard treat. Every spoonful of ice cream had a tasty morsel and the ice cream was deliciously thick!! If it wasn't for such a long wait I would have given them 5 stars!! Went there today and ordered our lunch ask for tartar sauce and ranch to go with the chicken strips asked for extra cotton candy to be put in my blizzard. Got to the register paid for all of that including a dollar for the extra syrup in my blizzard and we got zero napkins no tartar no ranch and before I got halfway done with my blizzard I was getting regular vanilla ice cream I had to ask the kids when I ordered to please make sure that that didn't happen and let's just say I will not be coming back there. I went in this location for the free cone day with my grand kids and I expected it to be a mad house from the line and the amount of cars but it was great! The staff handled the crowd like pros and with smiling faces. There was a line out the door and the staff had it moving fast!! It's very clear when you walk in that there is a Spirit of discontent that lives there. Obviously all the employees hate to get customers and hate their jobs, and probably hate their lives. No service with a smile, barely any service at all. The last time I was there (and it was the last time) I walked in at 9 pm, there were 3 customers ahead of me, 2 employees at the counter, and nobody had been served. This particular Dairy Queen is in DESPERATE need of a remodel. It looks very old and doesn't feel really clean.The staff was messing around in back quite a bit. There was an employee that had her children there and was a customer until her child ran around the counter and she went after her and then rang herself up at the register while we were waiting for our food. The manager said the cups were stacked way too high and no one did anything about it. Sounds like they need some respect. I urdered a salted karamel truffel blizard and not only was it salty like asked for, It chokalate ice kream flavor made my tast buds wuter. And dont you even get me started on my 5 dullor buck lunch. I have been a long time fan of this business and have been ever since i was a young child, but recently my doctor gave me some heart breaking news and i've had to cut back on my food intake and really watch what i'm putting into my body which meant i had to quit coming as often as i once did. i thought all i could order were bananas and applesauce however, once i heard about this dairy queen selling no sugar added dilly bars i was ecstatic! i could finally come to my favorite fan food chain again! (: My excitement soon dwindled the second i took a bite into the retched thing! how can you even call this a dilly bar? i looked at the ingredients too and there's only 2g less of sugar, but instead of regular sugar there was alcohol sugar and it didn't even get me drunk! i was very dissatisfied at this and just for that dilly bar i would give this place no stars. However, i dropped five pounds and have decided i can start eating fan food on the daily again so no more diet dilly's for me! i can finally eat pretzel sticks with ZESTY cheese sauce, chocolate milkshakes with extra chocolate, and most importantly non-diet dilly's!!! I talked to my doctor about my decision and he said he doesn't recommend it but i think he's just fat shaming me. in a week he will let me know the results of my prostate exam and boy that was an uncomfortable appointment just let me tell ya! hehe sorry if that's a little tmi!! Yesterday I came through the drive-thru to this Dairy Queen and asked for a Nerds McFlurry. The person that took my order, shall remain nameless, seemed to be confused by my ordered. Sharen then proceeded to try to list off certain flavors that seemed too terrible to be true. Such as cotton candy blizzard which seems like it would taste like the leftover milk after you eat lucky charms, a Jurassic blomp blizzard with buck nuggets inside..yuck, and a lemon murang curd blizzard with lemon wedges and pie chips inside or something like that. I really wanted my sweet and sour treat that pairs well with apple cider and taquito dinners in front of the tele. Upon arriving at the window sharen greeted me with a huge buck tooth smile that was very warming to the soul. She handed me the complete wrong order but I didn't care because that smile with 3 missing teeth and a crooked nostril was too warming to the soul to complain.
