I went there on 12/12/24 at around 3:30pm. Line didn't take long. I ordered a $7 chicken strip meal deal. The soda had no syrup and they didn't give me any chicken strips. I literally got a handful of old fries and a sundae with barely any hot fudge. Super disappointing and a waste of money all around.

The health caramel brownie blizzard was delicious. Every bite had brownie chunks!!

We heard that Dairy Queen is celebrating 80 years in business with running a buy one blizzard, get one blizzard for 80 cents special til March 15th. We arrived at 7pm and waited 30 mins for an order of 4 blizzard's. We felt badly for anyone who decided to go through the drive thru because they waited even longer. Was the wait worth it?? YES!! It was well worth the wait and the blizzards were delicious. We ordered the mint oreo, heath caramel brownie, snickerdoodle cookie dough and the harvest berry pie blizzard treat. Every spoonful of ice cream had a tasty morsel and the ice cream was deliciously thick!! If it wasn't for such a long wait I would have given them 5 stars!! Take advantage of an amazing deal while it lasts!! Btw. It's 5.49 for a large blizzard.

This is a copy of my receipt where it says we didn't ask for dip

Went there today and ordered our lunch ask for tartar sauce and ranch to go with the chicken strips asked for extra cotton candy to be put in my blizzard. Got to the register paid for all of that including a dollar for the extra syrup in my blizzard and we got zero napkins no tartar no ranch and before I got halfway done with my blizzard I was getting regular vanilla ice cream I had to ask the kids when I ordered to please make sure that that didn't happen and let's just say I will not be coming back there. He also put on the receipt that we didn't order any dip which we did and I'm not trying to get into a debate or anything here on hiring or not hiring but if someone doesn't want to get out of their chair in your drive-through window to get any of the stuff we ask I wouldn't have them working for me

I am a really big fan of their blizzards they are actually good quality. The rest of the food is pretty bad like McDonald's. I had a dilly bar and that was really awful and I could not even finish the whole thing. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because the blizzards are the best ones I have found and they are pretty cheap at only around 5 bucks for a large.

    Uhmmmm yes.

Fast food yo. It's a tie for this and Wendy's for my favorite guilty pleasure of the not so fresh. Quality burgers and fries. But I'm not picky when it comes to fast. It's the dessert though that we loveee. Getting a dilly bar or one awesome blizzard will make anyone's night!

When I eat here I have nostalgia of my youth. Their ice cream cakes are the best. Love the old decor.

(Which another shop in Spokane refused to do) The single scoop was a fairly large scoop. The house made waffle cone was also incredibly delicious! (As a side note to other reviews: we did NOT get any sauces on top of our delicious ice cream, it would have definitely ruined the quality flavor!) The service was great, the gentleman who served us; was friendly and knowledgable about ice cream and explained the process and Doyle's wonderfully. The ambiance of Doyle's is a classic old ice cream shop with lots of classic decorations all over the place. They have 1950's and older, Coca-Cola signs, collectable toys and figurines and Star Wars Toys all over the walls. Oh, they have a very nice little patio on the backside of the store! We had a great experience and recommend Doyle's Ice Cream!

This was our first visit to Doyle's. My husband got a single scoop of mint chip ice cream. Originally, I was going to get a banana split but they were out of bananas. I decided to get a triple scoop: chocolate thunder, mint chip, strawberry ice cream. I was able to add 3 different toppings, whip cream and/or nuts. I got strawberry, chocolate and fudge. I thought strawberry, was fresh fruit strawberries. I thought the chocolate was chocolate chips. There is a little patio area, with tables and chairs behind the parlor. I was super disappointed by the ice cream I received. The sauces were overwhelming, disproportionate to the ice cream. The sauces were way too sweet. I couldn't even taste the ice cream. The ice cream was fair, not rich and creamy. I didn't finish even half the ice cream, not worth the sugar high and dry mouth. My husband said the ice cream was the same quality as the store's... but more expensive.

I could tell there was still plenty of time to get a scoop before 8PM. At 7:43 PM, one of the workers came out from behind the counter and told about 10-15 of us in line that we would have to leave because they close at 8. She was very kind about it, and she kept saying "I hate having to do this," but it made absolutely no sense. She arbitrarily split the line, and decided some people could stay, but said the rest of us (5 girls ahead of us, and 7-8 people behind us) had to go. Mind you, the girls in front of us and our group were ALREADY IN THE SHOP. Everyone looked really confused, understandably. I've literally never had this happen to me before. I held up my phone to show the worker the time, and I said, "Its only 7:43. We have 17 minutes before closing." Others said, "but we're already in the shop" or "but we've been waiting in line for a while." None of this made any difference. We all still had to leave. Even though there was plenty of time to get everyone ice cream. And god-forbid they have to keep working until 8:05 or 8:10 to make sure patrons who waited in line could get ice cream. What kind of shop does this?? How is this acceptable? "Bad customer service" puts it mildly. I could spell out a million other better ways this could have been done. Do better, Scoop. Spokane already struggles in the ice-cream shop department. Please be a part of the solution, not the problem.
