Honestly, I never leave reviews. But the employees here never ever look excited to be at work. Infact they all look miserable. Every time I go in there they always take forever to actually come over and take an order. Doing everything they can to not to do their job. There is not good customer service and especially for having 3 people working at closing, it is pretty crazy to have to wait 5 minutes for them to take your order with only 1 other person in there. Me and lady friend went to the coastal creamery after choir practice and the place was located in Spokane on 29th Street on the South hill . We got there about 8:40 ordered almost 20 bucks with the ice cream and decided to sit down and eat some and we started to eat and then we were told 5 minutes later that the dining room had closed that we had to leave. So my question is how come it's not posted what's the hours of the store stating our dining room closes at 8:30. I asked her can we just finished this and she said no you have to leave and I was like so you don't have it posted and she was like we like to close up early so we can get things done and leave on time. That's crazy news that I've ever heard that the restaurant closing it's lobby before they close so they can hurry up and get things taken care of. I asked the lady for corporate number and their supervisor's name she ignored me would not talk to me. I asked for her name she would not tell me her name I asked to speak to the manager that ran the store she wouldn't let me do that either. So if you like going there and having a bad customer service and being rushed out after you ordered $20 worth of ice cream this is a place for you to go I plan on calling corporate tomorrow as soon as they open and try and to confirm that their lobby closes at 8:30. They should have said something to me when I ordered my food which was 20 minutes till 9:00.the store closed the lobby at 8:30 which it was 8:40 when we ordered so why wasn't I informed then offered a to go cup to go with me. We went 6/12 we went around 8 PM and normally this location is decently quick, but it seemed like there were only three people there and one of them was a trainee and so one of the girls was fully out cleaning the windows, even though there was a ridiculous, ridiculously long line leaving the new hire and the other girl on the line and the other girl kept going in and out of the back leaving just the trainee. I went in to order a custom ice cream cake. There were two girls working in there. Neither one of them acknowledged me when I walked in there. I was the only one in the store. I stood there for a couple minutes before they asked to help me. My daughter ordered a vanilla cake and the only mix in her requested was cherries. When we cut into the cake there was barely any cherries. Some slices did not even have cherries. We have ordered cold stones cakes for multiple birthdays for several years. SO extremely disappointed tonight! We've never really had a bad experience before but tonight the staff was more focused on closing then helping costumers and it's was still half a hour before close! I recently went into Cold Stone with my girlfriend and two kids about almost two weeks ago. Not only was the service some of the worst I've ever had, but the ice cream tasted vile. It tasted greasy and powdery if that makes any sense. Upon entering, we did not have masks on us. There is a sign on the door that's states "No mask, no service." This is discriminatory but apparently in 2021 in the United States, discrimination is now acceptable. Anyway, we were asked pretty rudely if we had masks. I responded and said we don't. I then asked if they had some and the guy's reply was yes but we have to charge you 20 cents for each one. This is outrageous. You have a requirement of masks or no service and then you want to charge for each one of the masks if the customer doesn't have their own? Ridiculous and sheisty if you ask me. There was about three workers in there. Two young guys and one young girl if I remember correctly. No hello, no have a nice day. Nothing. They were all rude as hell. Nobody finished their ice cream. It was vile and my daughter got an upset stomach from it. Shame on Cold Stone Creamery. Another corporate business that serves a less than mediocre product and their service is garbage. I have been craving cold stone for awhile and finally got there today for some ice cream. When we arrived there was one person in front of us and one being served. We noticed rather quickly there was only one person working. She was very pleasant and did a great job, but there is only so much one person can do at a time. The menu of the Signature Creations doesn't appear to have changed, but if it's not broken you just don't need to fix it. Having two preschool aged kids with us we were a tad worried that their smallest "like it" size would be too much for one kid. We inquired about them splitting one serving into two cups and then she informed us about the kid size. One scoop of ice cream and one included mix in. Score! We were able to make some substitutions to our chosen creations and it was done quickly and with a smile. The outside seating looked great for a nice summer night. You choose from three sizes (you need to be reaaaaallllyyyy hungry to get the big one). You get to choose an ice cream flavor (there's probably 20 to choose from) and then mix in whatever you want. Be careful as each additional mix in gets progressively more expensive. They have quite a few options available for those who don't like the pressure of choosing mix-ins. While I normally like to choose mix-ins, I chose on this occasion to go with the peanut butter extravaganza. If you like peanut butter, try this baby out! Came to the cold stone Creamery today with my family to get them some ice cream the employee that helped us with our ice cream was very helpful and friendly but as I began to look around at the establishment the tables were all completely dirty and it wasn't even busy during my visit also when I was paying for my ice cream there was a bunch of trash all over the floor and excessive batter from the waffle cones that drips off from the side of the machine that comes off as it's being made so I took it upon myself and asked the cashier if they were busy today and she said no it looks like there wasn't a manager on site and the building was being run by a bunch of high school kids that don't like to clean up after themselves and don't care about making the business more presentable read more

I called the store to check in twice with no answer. When I went in to ask about the order they handed it to me immediately. The staff was peppy and fun but the site of the store was absolutely disgusting. The restroom was in need of serious attention and the floor and walls covered in trash, handprints and ice cream.
