Terrible customer service with a woman who is missing a tooth in the front of her mouth. I didn't get her name unfortunately. I asked to get another kind of ice cream instead of the one I ordered , just to switch it out and she gave me so much attitude. And then gave me the ice cream and shut the drive through window so hard after she handed it to me. She needs a lesson on how to handle customers who change a simple order. If this is how she handles those types of situations I don't see her working there much longer. read more

Man this has been a really hard review for me to write. I kept going back and forth between four stars and five stars. Ultimately I settled on fi e stars, and the reason is is because there wasn't anything wrong with anything that we had at Rogers. Everything was really good. They're a very simple burger spot, think in and out if that's familiar to you. They're very limited menu options, and you're just there for a good burger stand burger. They also offer fries and as the name states they also have ice cream. We came in as a fairly large group, there's plenty of seating inside, they even let us put some tables together. All the food came out quickly, it was all hot, it all tasted good. They have a good selection of ice cream, I'm not a huge ice cream fan but everyone was happy with the ice cream that they got. The staff is also very friendly, and they did a really good job of making us feel welcome and accommodating any requests we had. The one thing that I would say is the parking lot is a little oddly laid out and difficult to get to if you're coming from Spokane Street (which I think is the only way to get into it?). But overall, this is a nice local little burger shop. You're not getting anything gourmet, but what you're getting is a really good burger stand burger. So if that's what you're in the mood for Rogers is a good spot. read more

I am done giving Roger's a chance to make a come back. Every single time I go there, one of my burgers is made incorrectly. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. What are these crazy order burgers they can't get right? A #1, no onions and a kids hamburger no cheese... when I tell them at the speaker, please make sure there's no onions on the burger because every time I get it, it's wrong, I'm met with a teenager with an attitude about it. I tried this burger. Got the double d, bacon, grilled onions. First the burger was not that warm at all. Yes they wrap it in foil and I ate it within 10 minutes. I'm not sure if that's their fault or not. The burger patties are really thin so I definitely suggest you get at least a double. Cheese was good. Toppings and sauce were decent. The grilled onions were pretty papery and stringy. The bacon was tough and took an abnormal amount of chewing. I would not say it was rubbery. Definitely not crispy. Just hard to chew and digest. The burger was not a bad burger but there were just a few too many undesirables there that kept it from being an enjoyable burger experience. On to the fries which are definitely fresh cut and good potatoes which is a plus. On a negative they are maybe the soggiest and limpest fries ever. They don't use salt which I don't think is a bad thing. Some people may want some so I think if you go through the drive thru they should offer you some. As well as put some napkins in the bag. Pretty good burgers, IF they get your order right, which is a coin toss. The service is hit or miss. In my opinion, the fries are terrible. That is sad, because they use fresh cut potatoes. But, they are limp, soggy, greasy, gummy, and just plain gross. They are unsalted, and they don't know how to cook them. I am guessing they do not do a presoak to get rid of some of the starches, and with fresh cut potatoes, a double fry is almost a must if you want them crispy. Yeah... I know... this is a fast food place. What do you expect... I expect at least edible fries. The ice cream is excellent and is the star of the show. This is a great place to go on a hot summer night for a shake or a cone, after you have dinner somewhere else. Finally went inside instead of waiting a really long time at the drive-thru. Was hard to find a clean table. Had a double double . I wish i had taken a better picture of the burger. I saw some of the pictures people posted and their patty's looked robust. Mine was not that. The patties were so small. You would have to order a double to maybe get a normal patty of meat. There hamburger seems to be of a higher quality. Unfortunately, the word I would to use describe the overall food is greasy. The buns were wet with either steam or grease. We would love to enjoy this restaraunt but it is so terribly filthy! The floors are littered with trash, greasy (very slippery) French fries, the tables, though almost all empty, were all but clearly eaten at and unclean. We came at 8pm on Wednesday evening and it wasn't too busy. The counter where we received our order was very dirty. It seems the staff just needs a briefing on the importance of cleanliness and pride in their environment. Not out of reach. Nice staff. The burgers were delicious!! I LOVE Drive In burger places. My family lives for a good drive in burger in the back of the pick up truck by the lake in the afternoon. It is OUR WHOLE VIBE. We love to try all the spots and literally look up Drive In on Yelp and every time we are satisfied. This spot was bomb - they had great food and were really quick in the drive thru. We always order cheeseburgers, fries and fry sauce, and also a butterscotch milkshake. Everything was super tasty and of course a good burger always makes for the perfect afternoon. It can be a slow day and your burger will still be fresh. I'm a meat/cheese/bread guy and don't like vegetables or condiments. I placed an order for my party of five and asked if they had a military discount. The cashier said " we do but a manager has to do it" I asked if there was a manager around. She said "well it's just so rare that we just don't have a button for it. " I said it's rare that you have veterans or military coming in here in north Idaho to ask for a military discount? She said yes, that's right. And so I said until they ask for one and then you don't give it to them so you really don't have a military discount do you? She goes yes that's right. This is North Idaho. There are veterans everywhere and military members as well. Every single time we've gone to Roger's, the experience gets worse and worse so we're done. We were so excited to learn that a location was opening in Post Falls by our home but the long lines, high prices and crappy experiences are no longer worth attempting to give this restaurant any more chances. Without fail, at least one piece of our order is incorrect or missing every. single. time. 32oz root beer floats with barely any ice cream included, missing multiple orders of fries, incorrect hamburgers in our bags, missing condiments, etc. In order to rectify this, we then have to pull out of the drive through, park and proceed inside where we have to wait to even be acknowledged at the counter. When confronted with the latest error, (two missing large fries), I didn't even get so much as an apology, much less eye contact from the so-called lead, supe or manager on duty, whoever she was. This is after spending close to $60 on three meals. Save your money and go to Rob's-their burgers are fantastic, the fries are plentiful and the shakes are old fashioned deliciousness for a fraction of the cost.
