I mean you can't go wrong with Dairy Queen. This one had a busted drive through promotional board and it seemed someone was training behind the counter, but my ice cream was on point and make well. I always get the cupfection and this one seemed to have more non ice cream items than ice cream, but no complaints here. Very rich. I recommend patroning this DQ so they can afford to fix it up and bit and it can stay open. read more

Came in with some out of town visitors expecting the good old DQ ice cream sundae. What we got I would compare it to a child's sundae. With barely any toppings. When we asked for more he ignored us and did not want to be bothered. So we sat eating our tiny sundae's in the car. I guess we should have gone to Culver's. The staff were very sweet in their recommendations. Service was fast and onions rings were super crispy. They also were kind enough to make an old recipe blizzard as close to a mud pie. It turned out as good as I remember. read more

Actually even though the ice cream ordered was pathetic, it ends up that we are making complaints about the SERVICE too! The manager (LAURA) was very indignant to a complaint we had. NEVER apologized, never humble, just put offish. I got home and called the Corporate to report her. A couple days later the OWNER Tran Doyscher phoned me and his attitude was even worse! He said they did nothing wrong and that I was NOT to come into 'his' store again! Well he won't have to worry about that, BUT I hope he didn't think I would leave it at that. I will NOT be talked to by an OWNER like that. I am calling Berkshire Hathaway Monday to see if I can file another corporate complaint as they are the Company that actually owns DQ as I understand it. I am also going to file a complaint with the Labor board. Whatever or Wherever I have to file, I will file. I don't care whether he's the OWNER or not, he shouldn't be allowed to do business in our country with a mouth like is! Their ice cream is not all that good either so there ya go. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. First the drive thru employee tells me it's a five minute wait for fresh chicken, okay I can understand that. "Never mind", I say, and proceed to order two regular cheeseburgers. Never in my life (37 years) has a burger based fast food restaurant told me "it's a ten minute wait for cheeseburgers". I cancelled my order and drove away. I'll never go here again; first and last visit. It's sad how incompetent employees are today. This has become one of my favorite Dairy Queen's because you always get fast friendly service at the drive-through. The ice cream is always fresh and they make the dip cones with the shell completely closed and never leave it drippy. Seems a small thing but when you loved it Collins you want them to be made correctly. Their ice cream tastes like the ice cream from years past. This is my third time I have gone here and they have been out of chocolate ice cream. How in the world does an ice cream establishment run out of ice cream all the time. I was going to be understanding and at least leave 2 stars but the cashier was as friendly as Wednesday Adams. This is the nearest DQ to my home. I stopped here around 4:00pm, no cars in front of me in the drive thru. I stated my order 3 times as to how I wanted my turkey sandwich (no mayo and no bacon). Not a difficult order. It takes them 5 full mins to even come to the window, meanwhile cars are lining up behind me around the building. I get home and as I open the box I notice my sandwich SMOTHERED in mayo!!! There's also no tomato, and there's no bacon but ham instead! Seriously pissed me off! It's almost like this was done on purpose.... I call up to complain. The girl who took my order says she's the manager!!! What?! It was a simple order, and the manager gets it WAY wrong?! I went at 4:45pm only one other guest in the restaurant. 5 employees all standing around and it took them more than 15 minutes for them to bring out our order. No apology just total disregard for us. Great food, reasonably priced, especially the $5 lunch. I recommend the quesadillas (chicken or cheese), and this month's Blizzard special, Grasshopper Pie. One time I took a neighbor out to dinner, they accidentally shorted her order a couple of chicken fingers, and they promptly made it up to her by replacing her entire order. In a time when many businesses no longer care about quality or customer service, I find DQ to be friendly, courteous, accurate and tasty. read more

We went to the diary queen on Hwy 19 (Hudson/Springhill area) and there were two cars in the drive through. The first person took so long to order we decided to go in to place our order. Once we got inside we noticed three persons working and each kept repeating we will be with you in one moment. I finally asked are you all waiting on the drive through and I was told yes. My thoughts are if you were not going to have someone working the front counter you should shut the doors and only have and service the drive through. Poor customer service. read more

Stopped here last night to have blizzards with the family. Not busy at 8:30 and we went inside. We ordered 3 blizzards and a peanut buster. A nice clean cut young man took our order, we paid and he walked over to make our order. Everyone working had a 10 second conversation and then the young man got on the floor on his hands and knees and crawled around on the floor looking under the equipment. He then stood up and proceeded to make the blizzards. The manager made the peanut buster and brought it to the counter. When she set it down I stopped her and told her I was not impressed at all that the young man was crawling around on the floor and then stood up and started making blizzards without washing his hands. She hesitated over saying anything and then finally told him he needed to wash his hands. After some argument about it he went around the corner and another employee picked up the three blizzards and dropped them on the counter. I told her I either wanted new ones or my money back. They all knew why as everyone including the manager witnessed the entire event. They made new blizzards and we ate and left. I understand the young man not realizing what he had done but I find it hard to believe the manager who stood there and watched it all had not a clue. And even when I brought it to her attention it was clear she really did not care, in fact I think she thought it was funny. My blizzard order is consistently wrong. I always order a mint oreo blizzard and 2 out of 3 times I get a regular oreo blizzard. Always a 10 minute wait if you order a chicken sandwich no matter the time of day. And no matter whe. It is its a 6 minute wait for a chicken sandwich. Fast food my ass. read more
