Don't ask me how or when, however, at some point in my recent adult years I have become addicted to the chicken tenders from Dairy Queen!! Yes! You read it correctly. My name is D. K. and I'm Addicted to the Tenders at Dairy Queen! It's the crunchy outside that draws me in, coupled with the moist, meaty middle which keeps me coming back. Though most people come to DQ for the Blizzards, I come for the Tenders. Also, I have no idea what kind of Texas Toast or Butter they use, yet, when their powers combine... Oh. My. Gosh!!!! I am talking about a Toasty, Melt in your Mouth, Crunchy moment of flavorful goodness and melty joy. Drive-thru order I was in the area and decided to get a cheese burger and French fries. The food was fresh, but I had to ask for napkins and ketchup. The service wasn't that pleasant either. The service is always good and when I do go inside it's clean and they don't keep you waiting. The cheeseburger is my go to and it's always made the way that I ask. The only issue is that it's tasteless, I am not sure if they season the patties at all (not just a pile of salt) but to make it taste like something other than the toppings that I ask for. I asked the young man at the front what he recommended and he said the #2 if you like spicy, and gave me more options as to what I might like. I told him you had me at spicy! So I got this order after being told it will be a short wait and was given a quick apology for the inconvenience. Man was I grateful I waited! The fries were so hot and the cheese was melting on the wrapper! I've lived here for 6 months coming from LA and I must say, this is the best burger I've had in ATL! I went there today around 2pm for lunch and ordered two meals, and noticed as I was sitting in the drive thru line awaiting my turn to approach the window, that the guy working the window handed the guy in the car in front of me a bag that included two meals in it. After having checked the food in the bag, it seems the customer in the car noticed he was given the wrong food and then handed the food back to the guy working the drive thru. The DQ guy then sat the bag of food next to the cash register at the window and later handed the guy another meal which was in a box that usually includes the chicken tenders. The car in front of me then left. As I approached the window, the same DQ employee attempted to cash me out for my order as he tried to give me the same food that he had taken back from the previous customer and sat by the cash register at the window. I asked him if it were the same food that had been given back by the previous customer, in which he confirmed it was. I asked him to cancel my order because he should not be giving out food to another customer that had been given to the previous customer. It then becomes tainted and unsanitary. I felt that was very disgusting and that once that customer received it and opened it to notice it was the wrong order, it should have been discarded, especially considering foods such as the fries and onion rings are not covered up in the bags. I usually eat at Dairy Queen, but after having experienced that, I'm not sure that I will return. read more

I went through the drive-they as I had a hankering for a blizzard as soon as I saw the sign! I don't remember the last time I had a blizzard but boy am I glad I stopped by today! I was going to order the standard Oreo blizzard but then caught sight of the s'mores blizzard and changed my order at the last minute. Great choice! It tastes just like a s'more. I just wish they used little Hershey's chocolates instead of whatever chocolate they're using branded w/ DQ. It almost tastes like fudge instead of chocolate but wasn't a deal breaker for the overall taste. You can't see them in the picture but there are plenty of them in the blizzard. I will be getting another one before this flavor is gone for the summer! The drive-they cashier turned the blizzard upside down, which was pretty cool; especially since nothing spilled out. :-) The line was held up a little but I think this was due to people getting to the window and asking for extra stuff as others were asked to pull up to avoid backing up the line. It's not a large space at that point in the line or to exit onto the road. I'd give them 3.5 if I could. read more

This Dairy Queen has come a long way!! In the past I refused to come here because of the lack of customer service and poor quality of the food. That has sure changed now!! They are under new management, remodeled, and much better!! Service was great, food was great. All around a great job! This location doesn't make good blizzards anymore like they did before remodeling. I went there this past Saturday, May 21 , ordered oreo blizzard with extra cookies once I got home I realized it was mostly ice cream and a few amount of cookie pieces throughout the blizzard. I returned and had it remade this time it was more cookies but not as much cookies as that they use to give you where it will mix so well each bite you had was filled with cookie crumbs and pieces. I would not recommend this place for a good blizzard, you might be disappointed. read more
