I visited Scoops on 6/26 and I'm so glad that I stopped by. I was in the area and decided to get some ice-cream. The employees are really nice and attentive. I was in the area and wanted some ice cream. Can you imagine how excited I was when I searched Yelp and found Scoops??? Omgggggggggggg. I pulled in and was immediately in love with the area. Scoops sits towards the middle near the park and sits cozy in the corner. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and SUPER EXCITED by the bright colors, old skool candy, and assortment of ice cream. Oh yes, this place is a gem and I am ready to go gem hunting. LoL. I can't lie, choosing a flavor was sooooooooo hard. As such, I had to get a few samples. I tried the: Lemon Cheesecake and the Yellow Cake Batter Ok. As Cookies & Cream is my go to, I had to go outside of my comfort zone. Man listen, I wanted BOTH OF THEM. The flavor profiles are super robust and the ice cream is extra creamy. Oh my gosh, I'm talking a melt in your mouth, smooth, thick texture that is absolutely delicious. Drum Roll............ I got the Yellow Cake Batter with an Ultimate Waffle Cone... the rest is history. Oh My Goshhhhhhhhh... is there such a thing as Ice Cream Induced Happiness???? If so.... I'm in it!!!!!! Ok. I visited with friends yesterday, Saturday evening. Staff was not friendly and welcoming but acted frustrated that all I wanted was a glass bottle coke and a turtle. The turtle was terrible. I could hardly taste any caramel. Nuts used to be salted but I couldn't tell if these were. It tasted like I was eating a giant lump of poor quality chocolate. The only thing positive I have to say about it was the size was good for the price. It was much larger than I expected. I was sad to find that 90% of it was "chocolate". Sadly, I did not get to enjoy my glass bottle coke. It slipped through my hands and smashed on the pavement outside. The Bus Barn staff was quick and responsive when alerted to broken glass outside their doors. I didn't even bother telling the Scoops staff because I could already tell by their attitude earlier that they wouldn't care. read more

Scoops is the ice cream and candy shop you didn't know you needed after a trip to the library! Located near the new City Hall building, you can either park there or park in the library lot and walk over.. located in the area near the splash pad and a couple of restaurants. They have a version of the Superman ice cream and Michigan Pothole that are hits. Last time we visited I had Southern Peach ice cream which was so refreshing in the Georgian heat. As we walked out, an employee coming in to start work asked us if we liked our choices! read more

I love homemade ice cream as it's the only kind of one I eat and always in search of a new place to try. I checked out the website and saw a few flavors that caught my eye such as Black Bing Cherry and Key Lime Pie. The nice reviews peaked my interest even more. The shop is really cute. The young black guy behind the counter warmly greeted me and offered to sample anything of it. His customer service was great and the only reason I didn't walk out. I felt ignored by the other two ladies that was standing closest to the door when I first walked in. I first tried the Key Lime Pie which was a bit too tangy for my taste. Then I asked about the Black Bing Cherry. The older lady came over when she saw me showing the young guy from the website it's a flavor they carry. She said they were out. Although quite disappointed and ready to walk out i decided to give another flavor a try. I tried a few others but none truly peaked my interest. I finally settled with Salted Carmel. It was ok but I wasn't wowed by it and certainly didn't feel it was worth the price. Fortunately I had much better homemade ice cream and will not be returning. My son has celiac disease, so finding safe places to eat is almost impossible. Scoops is wonderful! They were so thorough in ensuring my son was safe and used newly opened tubs of ice cream with a freshly cleaned and sanitized scooper, with no complaints. I am so thankful that they take my son's disease seriously and worked so hard to make sure he had a great and safe experience! We will be back many times! read more

We fell upon this place, and had no idea that it was even there. It's a nice little honey hole in downtown Fayetteville. It is an awesome area for families. The variety of ice cream flavors is awesome. We were able to taste the ice cream before making a selection, which was really cool. There were so many good ones to choose from but I really had a taste for Peaches and strawberries so I chose those flavors. It also has a variety of candy in the store. Cute little place for a quick cup or cone of ice cream. They have some baked goods as well. Stopped in one evening with the family to have dessert. Ice cream was average, service was decent. Nothing knocked me off my feet. Will probably not return but it's nice place for family's to check out, keep in mind the establishment is very small with seating along the walls. read more

I was VERY disappointed in this stores customer service. I ordered a custom birthday cake for my daughter which the man taking the order spelled wrong on the cake. He insisted 'I was wrong' ! I was taken aback when he insisted that I spelled Emily with an "A". It's a fairly simple common spelling but he insisted I was wrong then proceeded to tell me if I didn't like it I could leave and closed his screen on me. I was so angry because I initially was going to let it go but he raised his voice and was rude and disrespectful! I will never return to this store and encourage others to pass them by. My husband, daughter and I visited Scoops for the first time tonight. Tired of the same old places I got on Google and searched ice cream parlors and Scoops popped up. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was located in such a cute and family friendly center called Triumph! How this popped up without us knowing is beyond me, but we're glad to have it! After returning a week ago from a vacay in our hometown of Miami, we realized we need more gathering areas that cater to families and pets like we saw in Miami. Since my daughter has a service dog, we like to go to places where we can walk her. Scoops is a very cute ice cream & candy shop that will make an adult feel like a kid again. They have a good variety of flavors. The ice cream was delicious, service great and prices reasonable. There is plenty of seating areas outside to relax by the water feature while the kiddos play on the playground or you can walk your pup over to the dog park.
