I was shocked to see just one layer of turkey laid down on the sandwich-- about 3 1/2 slices in total for the meal. When I saw this, I asked if I could pay for double meat (it cost about two dollars). I got shredded cheddar cheese since they didn't have slices of it, and added tomatoes, lettuce, and red onion. The sandwich was full of veggies when we got to the end, so the employee poured the mayo I asked for onto the lettuce sticking out of the sandwich, which made for a very unbalanced meal. Every time I've had a subway sandwich in the past, the sauce is put directly on the bread, which is much preferred. I ate this sandwich on the road, and it was the messiest I've had, not to mention it didn't taste very good as a result of the unbalanced ingredients. All in all, this cost me a little over nine dollars. When I walked out, I was wishing I had purchased a prepackaged 6 inch sub at the gas station this subway is connected to. I hope this experience was a fluke, and other employees at this site are trained better!
