I haven't ate Dairy Queen in so long and once I ate it two weeks ago it tasted so great. This location doesn't fail.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Maria (I believe that was the young girls name) was rude after clearly showing her my app that said cone was $1, she didn't want to give it to me despite showing her the expiration date on my app, (5/31/2026) I rarely come here and saw an influencer promoting the deal so decided to try Dairy Queen out. The place needs to be cleaned and my experience wasn't a good one. Don't come to use your deal code cause it won't be honored, not good customer service and especially if you want a clean restaurant. There was an older man there, he was pretty nice and tried helping the best he could. I wish I would have gotten his name. read more

I was in town over the weekend and this Dairy Queen was within walking distance of my hotel, so I decided to stop in for dinner. This is a typical DQ Texas location, with the menu items that are unique to Texas, such as the Hungr-Buster, Belt Buster, etc. I came in and ordered a Belt Buster meal, which comes with fries and a drink. Cheese is extra. The server was friendly, and took my order with expediency and efficiency. In time, my order came out and I took it back to my room to eat. The Belt Buster met my expectations, the ingredients are fresh, and it was also cooked fresh. The fries were also recently cooked as it was crispy. My soft drink, however, was on the watery and diluted side. While they included ketchup and napkins in my to-go bag, the ketchup packets were on the sticky side. One issue of concern I had at this DQ location is the lax sanitary practices. While the staff were wearing masks, I observed none wearing gloves as they were taking payment and handling the food. Furthermore, there appears to be no hand sanitizing--or hand sanitizer--present as I was observing them prepare my food. During this time of COVID-19, more precautions should be taken to ensure that food is handled in a sanitary manner. read more

It is 10:46pm as i write this review the site mentions they close at 11pm........ My wife and i drove 15 minutes away from our home for our craving.. the site mentions this location closes at 11pm upon arrival all lights are off and The drive thru is closed.... Its very unprofessional that DQ at this location is not open as they said it would be... We wasted gas and energy to come to an unreliable location where they lie about the time they closed.... Dairy queen is walking distance from my job so it a place a may go when I don't want to drive. They have the variety of foods such as burgers, salads, taco etc and also blizzards and smoothies. I usually get a grilled chicken salad, it also has chicken in every bite. They just did a remodel to freshen the place up. read more

Wow. The night manager (Monday/ Labor Day) is not customer focused, and was down right insulting and rude. I only came to get an ice cream because a friend gave me a gift card for my birthday. They didn't know how to use the gift card (seriously?), gave me a bunch of excuses, handed it back to me and wouldn't even attempt to use it. The employee was willing to try, but the manager told him NO over and over until he handed the card back, embarrassed, apologizing. It's easy to verify these cards. Why Why did we have to move our offices down the street from DQ? I haven't eaten this much ice cream in 8 years, I now go to DQ at once a week. I really have to see if there is a DQ rehab meeting during lunch. Ok, so I have a serious DQ problem...I am from a small town where DQ was the big and only thing in town; when I moved to Houston, I honestly didn't find that anything fast-food wise compared. Of course when I lived over here years and years ago, I would come over here and get my usual (burger and fries with a side of cream gravy). I am super pleased that this location is still open because the night my friends and I decided to pre-move boxes over to my new place before the official move, I brought the guys here & bought them dinner. The dining room was empty because it was late (I think we made it before they closed), and the young man was very gracious in taking our orders and bringing it out to us without rushing us out or anything. The burgers are still very juicy and made perfectly to order, the fries have a perfect crispness with tender insides...man, and you just can NOT have their fries without their delicious, thick cream gravy with that peppery bite. One of my friends ordered the tacos, and they were so big, full and crispy. Their steak fingers are so incredibly good, as good as I remembered them to be; nice and crispy on the outside and meaty and juicy on the inside. I seriously can't finish the 4 pc basket which comes with lots of fries, toast and a side of cream gravy; the chicken tender basket is identical. The Dude (chicken fried steak sandwich) is also killer; perfect for when you don't want a regular burger. Ice cream? Ok, forget it, it is always rocking because it is soft-serve, but I am very good about steering clear from it, lol You also can't beat the price; I spent less than $20 for all three of us (and that included 2 guys!). Super gross. Unsanitary. Especially in these times. The workers aren't wearing masks so they're breathing on your food as they prepare it. They don't have a pin pad, so somebody has to grab your card, swipe it and give it back to you. When your order is ready you are served with UNWRAPPED plastic utensils that would have to go from their hands directly into your mouth. I did ask for wrapped utensils and was told they don't have any. If you go to 1,000 places and catch COVID-19 from one of them, it would be this Dairy Queen location. read more

So disappointed!I don't understand why the store lobby is close during business hours, especially still daytime. It makes me think staff are lazy to serve customers. I grew up with Dairy Queen when I used to live in a small town so coming here always brings back childhood memories. My bf and I decided to get the steak fingers combo at their drive-through and a Oreo blizzard. I'm assuming they don't make your food until you order because we had a tiny wait but well worth it! Our food came out steamy hot and ordered extra gravy since we got the 6piece. It might not sound like a lot but it was enough for the both of us. Fast food chains are a dime a dozen. This place got renovated recently, and being the first time for me here I can say the food was served in the drive thru fairly quickly and the thee hunger busters were hot. What I mean is they are the temperature you expect from a fast food joint. I used to be very skeptical of Dairy Queen but this was a good experience. The kids got the Reese's pieces blizzard and really liked it. The drive thru customer service was good and I will be happy to bring the kids back for some more desserts. Does anyone know if the chili or frank they use is 100% beef? I'm curious and just want to see if anyone knows. I think they have a wide selection of menu items but ultimately I feel like they are a great place for ice cream and frozen treats. read more

Rude! They just turned the drive-through lights off and refused to take my order after I had been waiting in line for 5 minutes. A staff member walked out the back door after the drive through attended greeted me and yelled "we're closed, we closed at 10:30". It was 10:31 and Yelp says they close at 11". Either way it's was just plain rude. The attended then came back on the box and said "were closed". I was unable to back up and had to drive passed the window to exit all while watching the 3 customers ahead of me get their orders.
