It was my first time trying the chicken shack sandwich and I thought it was seasoned well and crispy. My favorite items are: Mango passionfruit lemonade 5/5: My Mum eating mangos her whole pregnancy with me had me saying I'm allergic to mango. I couldn't even tolerate the smell. These days I've been introducing it back to my diet and it has been mostly good. I love this drink! It tastes primarily of mango but the passionfruit and lemonade shine as well. They come in a small box so it's not mammoth pieces of chicken. Enough to offer up one and fill your belly with the rest. They are juicy and seasoned well. They just need to be gentle with the salt. First time ordering at this particular location and been quite a while prior eating Shake Shack. The bad first: 1). I ordered from the APP which isn't the best one out there. No ability to add "extra" ingredients and no comment section. Not easy to customize your order. 2). I ordered via pickup and order was ready in less than 15 mins. The cell phone thing was so that you could direct message me with marketing. And then the ordering system asked me for a tip. Pass. Folks, this was $50 for a meal for two that just wasn't that great. There are a LOT better choices at far below that price point. And those choices will provide some real customer service to earn that tip and still stay under $50. With a beer. The burgers were okay. Today is T-mobile Tuesday and my sister and I went to Shake Shack for the first time to see what the hype's all about and this specific location absolutely did not deliver. The ShackBurger singles that we ordered was rather small and basic compared to what you can order at other fast food restaurants, and their chicken bites were extra salty even while trying to mask the salt with vinegary sweet ketchup. At least they have a redeeming feature, the cookie and cream shake. It was perfectly creamy and not too sweet. True to form, this brand new Shake Shack is serving up fresh and delicious offerings. The place is absolutely spotless and everything is brand new. The staff is still bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, though I'd say it took longer to get our food than I've had at other locations. I expect speed of service will quicken with time and experience. They have a drive-thru and kiosks you can order from inside for ultimate convenience. But when it comes to the main event - Shake Shack has a burger that will make your eyes roll back into your head when you take that first bite. The chicken is searing hot and fresh. We came here for their soft opening and ordered via drive thru. Customer service was ok. The people who greeted us in the beginning were helpful. But, the drive thru had a lot of staff that weren't proactive. A customer in front of us had to come out of his car to ask where his order was despite there being three attendants outside. The parking lot also looked unfinished because there were parts of it that were concrete and other parts that were gravel. As far as the food goes, it was pretty good. But, there's room for improvement. We ordered their Shack burger and Chicken sandwich. The beef patty was flavorful, but a bit too salty. However, the veggies were fresh and the potato bun was fluffy. The strawberry shake was fragrant, although a bit sweet for my liking. The cookies and cream shake was also a bit thick. I think the staff could've blended the cookies in more thoroughly so that it would be easier to drink the shake through the straw. It was still delicious and creamy. The chicken sandwich was juicy, but again, it was a bit too salty. They didn't have the veggie burger at the soft opening. I really wanted to try it. I guess I'll try it at the SL location. So Wifey got the 'Shroom burger which she loved because, according to her, every bite had the perfect amount of cheese. Prior to my most recent visit, I had gotten takeout from here a few times, and the quality was subpar. I always thought this specific location was mid compared to the one in rice village. However, I feel like they definitely stepped it up, and the food was so much better this time around. The burgers were served fresh and hot. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The fries didn't seem too soggy even with the cheese. The coffee and donut shake was just okay- the flavors are very subtle. At that point I'd rather get a vanilla shake instead. I ordered the Shake shack, burger, and added mayo, and I also ordered the chicken shack with a side of cheese, fries, and a Coke with no ice. I had high expectations for the chicken sandwich because it looks so delicious but when I tasted it, it tasted a bit salty so I had to take the pickles off because the batter on the chicken is already salty enough. The Burger was OK, I felt like both sandwiches needed some onion, which I couldn't remember to add. The cheese fries were decent, but I should've gotten the cheese on the side because I was only able to eat a few of those. The Shake shack sauce is a mayo with some type of herb in it. The Coke was not coking. It was a little water down or kind of flat even without ice added to it so imagine it with ice. I paid $24 for this meal and glad I gave it a chance. There is a Chick-fil-A on the other side of the freeway opposite from this location so they do have some competition with the chicken sandwich. lol read more

We had a terrible experience while on vacation in Miami, so this meal was largely sponsored by Shake Shack corporate to make up for that experience. We had been eagerly awaiting the opening of the Katy location and even tweeted (what's it called now? X-ing?) the Shake Shack account asking when the new location would open. Saw on Nextdoor that the new Katy location was finally open, and we decided to take our discount code there for lunch. We ordered via the website because the app was not working at all (to use the code you had to order online - not in person), and our food was on a pickup shelf upon arrival. The instructions did say we would get a text once our food was ready, but that never happened, so the shake was a bit watery by the time we picked it up, but not bad. The food was still warm. The burgers were as expected (the smoke shack is a perfect vinegary, peppery delight), and the chicken bites were good. There is no way to ask for more than one sauce in the app, even for a large order of bites, so I had to ask the staff for a second flavor (I like honey mustard - my husband prefers bbq), but they were very accommodating. I know they just opened so it's still a work in progress, and there was a lot of staff that didn't seem to know what to do, but that will improve. The restroom was clean, it's new obviously, but the parking situation is treacherous at best. Much of the lot is still gravel and with the very long drive through lines and one way in one way out setup, getting there is a bit daunting.
