Went there with my family tonight, there was 1 girl working the front counter , the manager young guy in drive thru not helping up front at all , they had RAP MUSIC BLARING SO LOUD YOU COULD HEAR IT ALL THRU THE DINING ROOM . This poor girl was struggling with no help . UNBELIEVABLE!!!! After reading the reviews I will not be back & will filing a complaint with Dairy Queen Corporate!!! The current night staff at this location was very unkind tonight. I had an issue with my order and the options they gave me were to get a refund or take the order. I opt for a refund. They threw the dessert and a gladly gave me a refund. They were rude and lock the window on me when I tired to ask a question about the refund. They stood on the other side of the window and wouldn't open it to speak with me. I normally don't do reviews but know one should be treated this way. I wonder does the owner know of this behavior and how they are loosing money. So sad because I go to this location alot and spend ALOT of money there. Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE dairy queen. Visited this location for the very first time. We ordered tacos, chili cheese fries and some drinks. Service was quick and the young lady that took our order was very nice. Looking forward to visiting more often. read more

The employee told us that they purposely were leaving the lights off outside so that people would assume that they were closed after we asked to sit outside. They also have the entry doors locked which I'm sure is a safety violation. Customers safety is a huge concern and the employees did not care. They have customers sitting outside in the dark. read more

Great place for a late night craving! I have been to this location a couple of times but only for the blizzards. It is in a pretty good location that hasn't been too over developed so it is still pretty easy to get in and out. I have only been through the drive thru so I am not sure about the cleanliness of the actual location. The lines have never been very long and the staff is very quick to answer when you pull up to the speaker. I have had a very pleasant encounter with everyone so far working the drive-thru. This isn't somewhere that I normally frequent but when I am craving ice cream this is where I will be! read more

Nice new facilities. I think the designs for the building and furnishings are great. The people here are very nice. I was not amazed by the food, but it is about par for DQ. Of course the ice cream is what they're really famous for and that was exactly spot on. Every time my girlfriend and I go to this location at this time of night, the same worker every time says "thank you for choosing Dairy Queen, I'm sorry to inform you but we are out of ice cream". I'm sorry but I've worked at two different ice cream places and even during the biggest and busiest opening day events we've NEVER ran out of ice cream. I would just stick with the drive through! Horrible experience when I dined in with my husband. The cashier was not friendly at all!! When I asked if they can make just a chocolate ice cream with brownies, she gave me a look like, are your serious. So I told her, I know it's not on the menu but it would be nice if they can, if not, it's no problem, I will just take an Oreo blizzard. She looked confused and ask her manager if they can make one. The manager didn't seem to happy to do a special order lol. But they did it anyway. It was very uncomfortable and the manger even joke saying another special order!! Really?? Probably the worst dining experience we've ever had. Ordered 2 things, a crispy chicken sandwich with French fries and a cfs sandwich with onion rings. We received 2 cfs sandwiches with French fries. We went back to the counter and asked for the meals to be corrected and the manager snapped that they were out of onion rings and then yelled at the girl at the counter for letting us order them. When we asked for our money back she said she would just give us a free dessert instead and we said alright. Because we spent 3 mins waiting for this our French fries were ice cold. We waited another 5 mins for the correct sandwich then finished our meal. After we finished we went up to the counter to get the free dessert. We ordered something super easy instead of what we actually wanted and just got a dipped cone. We waited five mins for the dipped cone and gave up. We will never go back! RUDE STAFF. Don't waste your time going to this DQ. Go to the one on E lake Houston and 1960. At least that location knows that without the customer they are out of business. After discovering this location I have several visits in and my review is spotty to say the least. At first I would have given it a 5 rating but after several visits of being served cold food, limp fries, after complaining and being told that corporate wants food out within 3 minutes by the GM. He informed me that I could ask for fresh cook and they would do it. So I went in and asked for the Chicken Basket and to have it freshly cooked. Oh, I got fresh chicken but cold fries, horrible gravy and toast that was cold and snapped on the edges because it was so old. I had been going there twice a week spending 20 for 2 people each visit, that's 40 a week, but no more, and if any of you are as tired of wasting money, paying people to COOK FOR YOU, and being served cold food. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant was very clean and the staff greeted me immediately and were the nicest workers I have encountered in a fast food establishment in some time. They were even singing along with the 80's music playing. My order, with the special requests, was accurate and delivered quickly. It has probably been more than 10 years since I have eaten at a DQ. drove to kingwood to meet a friend who was visiting family in the area, stopped in to get myself a treat before i got back on the road to go home. immediately made a byline for the bathroom and happened to glance down at the shoes of the person in the stall next to me, noticed their distinctively dirty chucks. the person finished their business and walked out the door without hand washing. finished my business and prayed as i walked up to the counter, noticed the dirty chucks shoes on a young lady in the kitchen making a blizzard and handing it out of the window to customer. granted, she could have washed her hands in the kitchen before handling food or equipment but considering her low standards of personal hygiene, i highly doubt it. i waited at the counter about 30 seconds deliberating whether or not to make an order and decided against it after no one had even looked up to acknowledge me at the counter. i took it as a sign to forego my treat, i had lost my appetite after imagining what else that young lady was handling without properly washing her hands! yuck. read more

I've had better luck recently, when African-Americans were not working there. In the past, it was very bad. Simple orders took forever to get. The food quality was OK, but who as time to wait around like that? DQ has been around forever, and used to have great burgers and fries, but not anymore. read more

My family and I just moved here and are adjusting to the heat. We've been to this location several times for ice cream in the month we've been here. The customer service has never been overly great but tonight it was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The blond, deep voiced gal was angry, irritable and downright RUDE!!!! Our blizzards that she made and brought out to us were dripping all over the place and she practically shoved them in my window. I am astonished that someone like that is allowed to work with customers! I don't know this area too well yet BUT I will find another DQ to take my family to that will have better customer service and appreciate the customers that are giving them business!!!! read more

Terrible experience. Horrible service. Took 20 minutes to get our food. Fries were cold and order was incorrect. Ordered a cheeseburger and got a burger. Easy fix. Ordered Onion rings and it took them another 20 minutes to get those, and this was after I reminded them that we were still waiting. By the time we got the rings, we were done with our lukewarm meal. My kid got an Ice cream sandwich with his kid meal, and when he took a bite, the Ice cream was barely cold, and about 75% of the ice cream squished out of the sides and onto the table. There was also a mess at the beverage bar. No lids, trash, and a tea spill that was not properly cleaned, which was there from the time I got my drink first drink after my food order, to the time that I left, about an hour later. Employees seem lost and seem to care more about what's happening on their cell phones than customers. It also seemed like the drive through was way more important than the patrons who come inside. They had 6 people making blizzards and only 2 in the kitchen, from what I could see. Very disappointed. Waited a long time for this open. Skip it and move on to Sonic or Culvers. read more

If i could give it 0 stars I would. My family and I went for the first time wanting to try something new. The whole time we were ordering the person taking our order was goofing off and laughing to the point where she couldnt even repeat the order back to us. She had missed half of our order and it wasn't a difficult one. We tried fixing our order several times before just driving off. All in all, the experience was frusterating. We came for two half pound flame throwers, and not sure what we got. Quarter pound hammers with lettuce and fire sauce? Called to let them know it was wrong, a lady answered and didn't say sorry just "do you have the receipt". I told her I did and she said we needed to come back to get the correct food, which I let her know there was no way I could as I lived far and kids needed to nap. She the got off the phone, as I heard her telling someone the situation and saying "she's saying she won't come back, what do I tell her, here you take the phone". I asked to speak to a manager and the new voice said they were one, still no apology!!! They just said "do you have the receipt", I told them I did and I couldn't come back now. I am very impressed with the service from this Dairy Queen so far. I have used the drive thru several times and my order has come out correctly every time. They are usually really busy since they just opened but I was still able to get my food from the drive thru in under ten minutes. The food is fresh and delicious (and the desserts too!)! read more
