I don't like writing reviews, especially when I write a good review and the place gets so busy. I know this is gonna be one of those times. Amazing food all the way down to the pickles that they serve with the barbecue are worthy of awards. We've eaten here several times in the past. Today we tried the brisket burger. Cooked perfect, juicy, bun was fresh, perfect amount of condiments, I ordered pickles on the side. The tallo fries, oh man, oh man. My husband and I shared the burger and it was the perfect amount. I wish we could keep this as Kingwood's secret, but they've already won a bunch of barbecue circuit awards. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I'd do it all over again. And I plan to! Get down there and try all their meats!!! My lover and I came to this wonderful establishment to have a casual lunch, not knowing that it was going to be so much more. We smiled as soon as we walked it because there was a bit of a queue ahead of us, reassuring us that the place was going to be well worth it. Next is the menu... what an awesome menu it is. My back is pretty big so it was so hard for me not to order one of everything because what do you mean you have scallops with grits??? A peach blueberry cobbler??? I settled with the two meat place with the side of the dirty rice ( best dirty rice I've ever had) with the watermelon salad (oh so refreshing ) while my lover got the fried ribs. Every bite of the food made us kick our legs a little out of satisfaction. Chef David and the rest of the staff was continuously table touching and making sure that everyone had what all they need to make it the perfect meal! I would say a lot more but I really did enjoy coming here, any time I'm back in the area will definitely make it a point to come back!!! We ordered the sampler which comes with 4 meats and three sides. We had the brisket, turkey, sausage and chicken. The sides, Mac and cheese, coleslaw. The food amazing, all the meats juicy and good amount. The location, a bit small with a few tables inside and outside. The lady who took our order was Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful Place, I would recommend Fire Craft BBQ to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, But he already knows what's being brought to the table. Service is awesome, all the BBQ regardless of what you are eating is spot on. The Tri Tip is on a level of quality excellence that's above anyone else, but most don't even attempt to experiment with it because of the cost and knowledge of this cut of beef. Since the additional space was added so more customers could sit and enjoy their delicious BBQ, you can't beat this spot in my opinion, and I can't say I'm easy to please. As a matter of fact I don't do any reviews unless the product or service is excellent quality. Hopefully you will read this review and make your way to my BBQ spot and judge for yourself. The owner is usually always there to greet you and answer any questions you may have. Really Great guy, you can tell he loves making you happy. 5 Stars from me, and hopefully the Michelin soon. $23.82 for 1 meat meal 1/3 lbs. It was the best BBQ I've had. I got the meal to go, no room in the restaurant to sit down. For slightly more could have filet medallions at a nearby restaurant, watching football. If great BBQ is all your care about this is the place to go in Kingwood, but for that money theirs more value to be had elsewhere. read more
