    Frosted animal cookie blizzard

Dairy Queen is always a treat. Offering mini sizes is a bonus! Their rotating blizzard flavors are a nice cold snack on a hot day. The frosted animal cookie was sweet, crunchy and PINK!

It's not a 5 Star burger but it was a good burger as were the fries. Mrs. Texas and I both enjoyed the meal which I got it to go so we could dine at home. The dining room was clean and the staff was friendly. They were out of onion rings despite me paying for them but they gave me a large fry in its place. The menu on line via Yelp and the store menu are different. Only one complaint. I wish the bacon was crispy fried. Despite it being only a good burger with non crispy bacon there is nothing to truly deduct stars for therefore 5 Stars.

Fries: crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, overall great fry. Onion rings: one of the best I've had. Crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, good onion flavor. Green chile pepper burger: It can go head to head with any burger chain, Hopdoddy or Whataburger. To me it's in the same top tier of burgers. The bun has to be Martins potato bun soft nice chew with a hint of egg flavor. Toasted on both sides so they got it done right. The beef patty has to be 80/20 maybe that's why it's beefy and moist in the center. The mayo mixed with the spicy green peppers adds just layers of flavors. When you bite into it, you get the soft bun immediately you get that kick from the green peppers then you get that creaminess from the mayo, and then it all comes together with that beefy flavor from the patty. The thick cuts of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce really adds freshness that the burger needs because it's very heavy and rich. It has an umami and has that crave factor. They selected the right onions, red, the red onion goes well with the green chile. The zing from the red onions adds more flavor. The meal is not cheap to say, $15 for a burger is up in price but you get what you pay for and to me, based on the location, based on the overall freshness, it's worth it. It's worth paying a higher amount to get a higher valued meal. If you want ranch, you have to ask for it and plus no extra charge.

And the customer service? Elite. They treated me like I was the mayor, the sheriff, and the guy who invented burgers all at once. Friendly, fast, and actually happy to be there -- which is rare these days. If you're anywhere near this place, go. Cancel your plans, call your mom, do whatever you need to do. This burger is worth it.

Still a really good meal and the man at the front counter was checking in on me to make sure I was doing alright. Overall I'd say really good service and great food quality. I think the restaurant gets a bad rep because of the menu changes over the years but overall still one of my favorite places to go.

I do appreciate the option for Impossible dogs and burgers, though you'll have to order them without a bun and most toppings to keep it vegan. It seems like a neighborhood spot where the people are friendly and no one is judging if you need to start happy hour at 3pm. On that note though, it's a huge bummer that the happy hour deals got a major downgrade. Instead of all drinks being $5 flat, now it's just $3 off select cocktails and $2 off beer and wine. Since the Four Points location closed, I get it, they're clearly trying to cut back and improve margins. It's a fine deal but for the quality of cocktails, not really worth it anymore.

A small town TX BBQ that can hold it's own! Passing through town for a late lunch / early dinner…read more We were greeted as the door opened! We had brisket plates. Fried okra and mac&cheese on one. The classic potato salad and hot pinto beans on the other. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Not dry. A good 8-8.5 points on the 10 point scale! The beans were a 8.5-9! Flavor, spice, texture were quite good. One would be surprised as how some place mess up beans. Potato salad was as good as any and exactly what one should expect. Fried okra was made to order! No soft heat lamp mush here. Flavor wise, it was also as one would expect of traditional fried okra. Mac&cheese was average flavor but good portion. Was ok. Nothing to rave on, yet no complaint. Simple/basis type so a little more pop to the recipe could be a good future tweak. Traditional onions, pickles, & jalapeños can be added to the plate if you like. Also sauce and bread available on the side counter to suit your needs. Overall, a great lil place to stop in! Didn't take a pic before starting to eat but this get the gist.
