On a rainy Saturday we took our family to get some ice cream to lift our spirits and this definitely did the trick! The flavor selections were unique and delicious. The server was adamant about us tasting the flavors before we made our selection! We got the strawberry chunk, mango sorbet, salty little secret, vanilla & pistachio. The pistachio tasted so fresh and creamy, and the salty little secret was something I'd get a pint of and eat the whole thing at home! Stopped in here for a visit to try out some of their flavors. Walking in, there wasn't a line, but there was a big group that came in after us. Since we were new, we let the other people go first. The line moved very slow in total. It took about 15 minutes before it was our turn to sample their flavors. For me personally, I was a bit bummed to see all these delicious flavors that were available, but I wasn't able to sample many of them because I have a dairy allergy. So that being said, they only had one flavor that I could try at the time I did appreciate that they had a laminated sheet of paper that listed all of the allergens and all of their flavors, so anyone that had an allergy could quickly see which flavors they could try and which ones they should avoid. During my visit, I ordered their mint basil sorbet which was very good. At five dollars per scoop, it's definitely on the pricier side. However, the ambience inside this ice cream shop was nice and I could see myself hanging out here socially if they had more dairy free options. But overall, I had an okay experience here. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They are located in a small plaza with ample parking. It was also easy to get in and out of the parking lot, which I think is a big plus. read more

I visited Dumont Creamery in Cedar Park for the first time recently, though I've been to their Round Rock location before. I still remember trying their jam cake flavor back then, which was really delicious, so I was excited to see what they had this time around. I ordered the plum cake flavor and just wanted a small scoop to satisfy a morning craving. What surprised me was that the employee actually WEIGHED the ice cream on a SCALE. I found that pretty intriguing--on one hand, it could be helpful for people who track macros or want a very accurate calorie count. On the other hand, for the average customer, it felt a little unusual and made me wonder if it was about portion control or cost. Definitely interesting, but a bit unexpected for an ice cream shop. As for the flavor, it was good but nothing spectacular. Still, I appreciate that Dumont offers unique and rotating flavors, and I like supporting local ice cream shops that try something a little different. Overall, it did exactly what I wanted--satisfied my craving without being overly indulgent. read more

Dumont is a welcome addition to the CP area. They have a wonderful selection of ice cream. My Oreo caramel fudge ice cream was so refreshing. It was a tough decision as they offer all the standard flavors plus some interesting options like the hokey pokey. They also offer a four-scoop sampler if you wish to sample a number of their unique ice cream flavors. Not in the mood for ice cream, they offer bobas, some exciting coffees, and smoothies. The Spanish latte caught my eye, and that's on tap for my next visit. For you influencers, there is a really cool Cedar Park mural that offers great photo ops. Came here during their grand opening over the weekend. They were doing BOGO. I got a Sunny Mango and Mangonada. The slush was great, and we agreed that if we came back, we would order the drink again. But of course, I would like to try their coffee here. The Sunny Mango is slightly sweet with jelly in it. Usually, the strawberry sauce can be overly tart, but it wasn't, which was great. They also have ice cream and pastries and Dubai Chocolate here. The store itself is brightly lit with multiple tables on the side. The prices themselves are decent and not overly pricey like some drink shops. read more

A friendly greeting like the one we got yesterday is always a good start. This is a new, very clean business and a welcome addition to our neighborhood. They offer lots of ice cream flavors, they have a coffee menu, they also have some pretty neat cookie and cake offerings. The young lady employee was quick to offer us a taste of different ice creams to help us choose one. We ordered medium dishes that included two scoops of their delicious ice cream in two different flavors. All things considered, we were quite pleased with our first visit. read more

This place is so cute! We've been wanting to try them since they opened. The interior was adorable and really well-decorated. An upscale-casual vibe and very clean and organized. I loved the massive mural corner for photo ops and the Cedar Park history wall. A nice local touch. My daughter and I both got a small scoop, Birthday Cake for her and Hokey Pokey for me. I was surprised to see how many kid-friendly flavors they had, and that they didn't look super artificially colored and bright. I tasted her Birthday Cake and I think it's in the more gourmet vein would appeal to adults as well. My Hokey Pokey was delicious with crunchy snaps of toffee that were soooo much more authentic than most "toffee" ice creams that usually just have miniscule molecules to vary texture. It was rich, creamy, and definitely the best local ice cream I've had on the culinary side. Can't wait to come back and try their extensive drink menu. read more

Was late and I didn't have my phone to capture photos.. but wanted to mention that the service and friendliness of Dumont was absolutely the best I have had in so long.. the nicest and most helpful .. and the ice cream was out of this world so many unique flavors and tasted great!!! We also had a cream filled donut that melts jn your mouth at first bite .. I selected the coffee donut yummm.. and my friend had the regular donut with I think custard both were amazing - can't wait to go back !! I love the variety at this cute little store - perfect for an after school mother-daughter treat and catch up!

Service was good. They ask you if you want a sample for ice cream, and send you to the cashier if you want drinks. I ordered two drinks. Thai and Lychee Lust. The Lychee Lust was the best one, super yummy with a hint of both sweetness and tartness, they add three toppings as well! The Thai was good as well, better than most places. They have milk alternatives, always a plus (0.75). Prices are super reasonable. No music playing but it was a good experience and good ambiance. Menu is not online so you'll have to go inside. read more

I would rate this ice cream as 4.5 stars if I could. The establishment is clean and the service great. The woman served me allowed me to test flavors and answered my questions amiably. I purchased four-cup option and chose hokey pocky, basil mint, kheer, and another flavor that was chocolate cake and honey. The ice cream was rich and creamy.
