Loved popping into the local Dairy Queen to celebrate a family birthday. We pulled a 8" Oreo Blizzard cake from the freezer section and had an employee write Happy Birthday on top. The service was a quick as they could be, as I was paying in gift cards. The bathroom area of the store didn't smell the best, but we made as quick of a transaction as possible in the store. Upon arriving at our destination, we added some embellishments from the house. It says to let the cake sit out for 30 minutes, but even after an hour, the fudge core was still very solid. My molars were up to the challenge of the crunchy middle, so I was still able to enjoy this frozen treat. With tax, the cake was under $33, and it was the perfect addition to our surprise birthday trip. read more

Just appalling cleanliness and food handling. The three employees with no hair restraints in place. One young man had so much hair flying around his head that you could not even see his face. One girl mopping the floor while the other two had to dance around the mop. Just nasty practices. One girls Mother brought her work clothes to her daughter and they were exchanging words back and forth across the counter. Just an overall bad experience. read more

Textbook Dairy Queen at this location. I believe that this Dairy Queen was originally in the shopping center mainly because of the multitude of dinner places nearby and the movie theater that used to be here. Although most of these things are gone now, there is the plus of this location still being relatively central, that it would be worth it still to make a half mile drive from somewhere nearby to get a sweet treat after dinner. This location does well what Dairy Queens do. They give you a ton of soft serve options including their claim to fame, the Blizzard. The sundaes are very tasty here, especially the fruity syrups on top. Other than that, any Blizzard that you'd want to construct (yes they let you pick any mix-ins that you'd like, not just the combinations on the menu) will most likely suit your craving. You know what you're getting from here every time: consistently solid soft serve. On top of that, their hotdogs (especially chili cheese hotdogs) are also pretty tasty if you're looking for a savory bite with your ice cream. No gripes with this place. They do it right. read more

They are nice, but can't follow or remember a 3 ice cream order.. I had to say what I wanted 2 or 3 times and even when I was given my cones, one was wrong. I was also charged $2.59 for all of my small cones when on the app it says small cones are $2.29. I pretty much paid for mediums?? The lobby had no napkins at all also. read more

Young cashier was RUDE and act as if she didn't want to be there. She refused to speak up or even give us eye contact. When we asked her questions, her answer was yes or no with NO explanation. Not only was she RUDE, she didn't even try to hide her rudeness. My child was there to celebrate grades and that's the customer service she received. We will not EVER go back. It's kinda hidden across the shopping plaza where the Carmike Cinema movie theater is located, but driving by this location, I found a pizza place that looks like a hidden gem. We came in a big group, unloading from the van, after a long day at the Army classroom, I'm surprised by how fast their service was. The 3-4 employees were efficient in taking orders and preparing them. Just one note though, the employee didn't do the signature move of turning the blizzard upside down in front of the customer to demonstrate how frozen their trademark dessert is. Although there seems to be a high turnover rate for the kids that work here, quite normal for this type of business, the staff is friendly and polite. The day staff seema more attentive to customers and cleaning than the night staff. read more

The blizzard i ordered was very good better than when i ordered at the spring lake location. My only gripe is that the customer service. It is lacking. I brought my bogo coupon for my birthday. After handing it to the cashier, i told her i couldn't remember what was on it. I wanted to order a large for my husband and get a medium free for myself. She read the coupon to me. I asked could i see it and she mouths off, saying why do i need to see the paper under her breath and proceeded to roll her eyes. The sad thing is i was going to order a larger size which would ultimately make them more money but she countered that idea. Needless to say, we probably won't return here, although the cherry dipped cones are delicious. read more

The banana splits are good except the banana that they used could've been ripe. The one they cut up was green and I even saw the banana peel since they cut it almost in front of you. The ice cream is good, although it's a little to pricey compared to what I used to pay in Texas. The regular vanilla cone is over 2$. read more

What can you say about Dairy Queen that has not already been said? The kids working there were friendly. The lady who was making my ice cream smelled like she had just finished a cigarette but that did not affect my overall experience. My boys were happy with their blizzards. Honestly the worst service ever, took forever to give my order. Also asked for ranch and was not told I had to pay until it was given to me and then when I was told it was only 25¢, not a big deal until she told there was tax included. Who honestly would take a small soufflé cup of ranch??? It's beyond me. I will never go back or suggest this Dairy Queen. read more
