My fiance loves blizzard so he enjoyed his very well. It hit the spot. Perfect sweetness and toppings. The service was great. The guy behind the counter went above and beyond. I told him it was gonna take me 30 mins to get home and I was afraid it was gonna melt and asked if he had ice or insulated bag. He said it didn't and gave me a cup with ice to keep it cold. That was the sweetest thing ever. The place had plenty of parking and seating. Way to go!

Service was quick. Food was hot and blizzard was cold. All was good. There was low music in the background. Tables and floors looked clean. They workers were polite and willing to assist. Good location.

This is the only DQ near me, but it's always been yummy. I asked the staff what i should get and they gave me a great rundown of the menu :)

    Soft Serve

My fiancé was craving DQ, so we stopped by for a quick treat. After he ordered, I was looking at the menu and mentioned how good the soft serve looked. When our order came out, a young man handed my fiancé his treat and brought me a soft serve too. I thought my fiancé had ordered an extra, but the gentleman smiled and said, "No one should leave empty-handed." I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but I really want to acknowledge his great customer service. I don't frequent Dairy Queen very often, but this genuinely made a lasting impression on me. Exceptional service like that is rare, and his kindness truly made my day. Please make sure to recognize this gentleman for his outstanding service. We will definitely be back!

Rip off!!! $7.82 for a small blizzard. Look at this picture of what they gave me: not only are the cups super small, but they filled it half full! The location in Oxnard is way better!

    Service

Insanely rude interaction. If you ask a question about a service, they'll make you feel stupid for even asking. "Who told you this?" If you can't do something just say so. You don't have to interrogate me about my intentions as if I'm a nefarious customer. I'm sorry I don't have an edible printer and was just wondering? You'd still be getting business you wouldn't have otherwise. Honestly, a simple no is sufficient. Someone said maybe and maybe that was incorrect information but I don't know why I'm receive the ire for it. Yes, I imagine they'll know who I am when I make this review. It's just the truth and for people to be aware of.

We had a really good experience ordering a customized ice cream cake. The customer service that the owner provided was above and beyond.

    Large and medium sizes

Portions are lacking. Photo shows large and medium sizes. Paid over $10 for these. Taste good though.

I know everything has gone up but to pay $34 for 3 cups of yogurt (42 Oz all together) is outrageous. Do they not get that there are plenty of other choices for dessert? 2. This one, is by far, the one thing that gets to me. You pay for your items, and they ask, would you like a bag? (Arrived alone and paying alone, how the heck am I supposed to carry 3 cups?), to which I answer "and spoons", before I get asked the ridiculous question. 3 spoons get tossed in the bag and then the bag gets handed over to me. With 5 people behind me, which mind you, had been waiting with me for some to come out and tend to us, now waiting for me to carefully bag my items (which felt like an eternity, especially with the eyes of the cashier on me insinuating, with the look and crossed arms, to speed it up a little). Every other yogurtland I've visited, with the exception of one, always nicely bagged your items. When I voiced my opinion, that one store changed their ways. Hoping this one does the same? Truly has put a bad taste in my mouth and experience and don't think I will be back. Management, hope you see this and change things for the good of your loyal customers

They have so many delicious handmade, fresh and innovative flavors as well as Italian staples like hazelnut, chocolate, pistachio and vanilla. They had vegan and Gluten Free options too that looked very good. After sampling pistachio, I had to have it. The other members of the family had mango, mint, stracciatella, and dulce de leche. Every single flavor was made of pure ingredients, not with artificial flavoring or coloring. It was just as good as being in Italy, or in any of the high end gelaterias in Little Italy SD! It was nice and clean inside and they even had a really cute little Vespa you can take pictures with ( not sitting on it;). The gelato is a bit pricy - $8 for a single scoop and it goes up from there, but given the quality of the ingredients, I think it is worth it to support a local business who is putting in the work and delivering quality. As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!
