Cookie Monster Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a brookie
    Aubrey H.

The staff is friendly and nice. The array of treats they have is a delight to your senses. We decided to try a Cookie Monster cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, and a brookie. Obviously, the Cookie Monster one was a hit with my son. Who doesn't like a bluish cookie. The chocolate was also good. However, although the brookie looked cute it was a little dry. Also, fortunately for my son we went on the day after the Dodgers won so he was offered a free vanilla ice cream cone in Dodger blue. Overall, we will definitely be coming back and trying some more treats from High Sweet

So one cool thing this place did was give my kid a free blue vanilla ice cream cone with our purchase due to the Dodgers winning the series. My kid was pleasantly surprised to say the least as was I since this meant I could eat more of my kids Cookie Monster Cookie. We saw a sign for cinnamon rolls made on Saturday and Sunday, but they sold out by noon, I'll be sure to be back to try those. We had a Cookie Monster cookie, a Brookie, and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was amazingly delicious, especially with milk given the giant chocolate chips in the cookies and brownie. I look forward to coming back and trying more of what High Sweet has to offer. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

Pastries were tasty. That home made brownie was very well done. The coffee was super yummy too. Cute little spot. Service was efficient & polite.

Experience only: tasting to come! Let's welcome a brand new store to Moorpark! As Moorpark reinvents itself, the Main Street is changing! Changing with new places to hang out with restaurants, bars and now this new shop that features sweets and coffee! On August 1st, High Sweet had its grand opening! And boy did the grand opening draw a crowd: the line to try the new sweet shop snaked around the interior and out the door! And the front porch was riddled with patrons and local government welcoming a new place to the block! I'm looking forward to trying this place soon when the crowd calms...but from first glance the offerings look great and the decor has a great pink vibe! And a very nice patio to people watch! Wishing this new establishment well!

We accidentally stumbled upon this as we dropped off someone at the train station. We went in and they had many sweet drinks and pastries. I had tried the matcha green tea. I find that to be ok. I've had better matcha elsewhere. As i sat a bit longer, I saw more and more people ordering their cinnamon rolls which they only bake on Saturday. I decided to try one. It was quite pricey. $7+ and cream cheese was additional. I think if it was $7 including cream cheese, that would be a more reasonable price. It was tasty though. The ambiance is a cute shop with indoor and outdoor seating.

The owners and employees are SO sweet. The coffee is delicious & hands down the best croissants I've had pretty much anywhere. Everything is so yummy but these croissants have me in a chokehold, so flakey, soft, buttery, and perfect! :) The inside of the shop and patio are also very welcoming and clean and there's drawing stuff and games for kids and adults. I don't know why it took me so long to start coming here but I will definitely be coming here all the time now.

I really wanted to give them a higher score. The shop is absolutely adorable and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I grew up enjoying the famous cinnamon rolls from the yellow house on High Street, so when I heard High Sweet Creamery was bringing them back, my family and I were so excited. My dad went in early this morning and picked up three rolls for $7.75 each. Unfortunately, we were a bit underwhelmed when we opened the box. The cinnamon rolls were on the flatter side and quite sweet, probably from all the icing. Not only did they not look like the beautiful photos posted on social media, but they also didn't look or taste like we remembered. They honestly reminded me of a danish more than anything, and we weren't able to finish them. :( While the cinnamon rolls weren't what we hoped for, I'd still love to come back and try some of their other treats. Giving three stars for the wonderful staff and the charming atmosphere. Wishing them all the best as they continue to grow. :)

We went yesterday to get the cinnamon rolls. This was our second time and my son declared he wants to make Saturday morning cinnamon rolls a new tradition. They are a great size, sweet, and have a well defined swirl. I like the texture of their cinnamon roll too. It's fluffy without being too fragile to support the icing. It's also well baked through, which I very much appreciate as I don't like underdone or mushy cinnamon rolls. They are super amazing freshly baked, but even when we don't finish our cinnamon rolls or take some to go, our left overs or reheated ones are super good. Yesterday, there was power outage and the cinnamon rolls couldn't get cooked until later. The owners were super sweet and accommodating to all their guests. They went the extra mile to call people who had come in before the oven was up to let them know the cinnamon rolls were done. They even let us hang out while we waited for oven to come back on and the cinnamon rolls to bake. We played a few games that they had in the seating area while we waited and enjoyed drinks. The wait ended up being an unexpected fun morning with games, coffee /chocolate milk, and oven fresh cinnamon rolls. We dug in before I remembered to take a picture.

Walking into High Sweet Creamery felt like stepping back in time to the original Moorpark Creamery I used to work at years ago. Just by crossing the threshold, I was flooded with memories of the familiar sweet smell, the friendly chatter, and the sense that this wasn't just a shop, but a little piece of our town's history brought back to life. The moment I tasted the shakes, sundaes, and freezes, I knew they hadn't just recreated a menu, they captured the spirit that made Moorpark's creamery a community staple. The shakes are churned to creamy perfection, the sundaes feel indulgent without being overwhelming, and the freezes are refreshingly nostalgic with a modern twist. A huge shout-out to Mandilynn, Jeff, and the entire team. Their dedication to recreating not only a part of Moorpark's history but a moment from our childhood is so thoughtful and special. It's clear they poured heart and soul into every detail, the soft serve ice-cream, the presentation, and the atmosphere. They've created a space where old memories can meet new ones, and that is truly priceless. If you're feeling a little homesick for Moorpark's glory days or just craving a genuinely comforting treat, do yourself a favor and swing by High Sweet Creamery. Support these locals, their work isn't just about ice cream; it's about preserving a cherished piece of our community. Thank you for bringing back a part of my childhood and for giving all of us a place to relive those sweet memories.

Our first time at this new establishment. I've been watching it take shape over the past several months as it took forever to get through the construction process. The pastries looked wonderful but we just wanted something light after our great dinner at Freda's next door. My wife just had a soft serve cup and I had a wonderful chocolate chip cookie with soft serve on top. Both were delicious. The soft serve has a rich ,creamy flavor and the cookie was great too. I only gave it a 4 star rating because of the simplicity of our order. Next time I'll have to order something more exotic so I can give it a higher rating!! What a great addition to High Street.

We love High Sweet Creamery! It's such a cute shop. I really like the cookie butter lattes. I come from Simi to get them. Their pastries are delicious as well. We've tried the chocolate chip cookies, muffins, cosmic brownies and the pretzel buns. I want to try the cinnamon rolls soon. The staff is really nice and helpful. 10/10

I came here to try out California Bun, an eatery that has harnessed an interesting (long overdue) concept, to package portable food. Here they prepare snack sized bites (or a little more) of favorite food fancies, enveloped in a daily fresh baked round brioche bun. The store is high ceiling, spacious and large, with ample space to dine in or carry out. It is a mom and pop joint, that is slowly but surely, beginning to make a mark. On the main wall, elegantly displayed, are all the many enticing varieties, for the day. My visit was designed to take something to go. The conundrum here is, what to order, because there were so many inviting choices that were talking to you. I finally decided to select three of these evenly browned and differently topped buns. The El Sabroso (Egg, cheddar & jack cheese, bacon & Jalapeno salsa, garnished with Cheese, bacon & jalapeño). The Roadside Burger (Seasoned ground beef, grilled onions, white American cheese, & secret house burger sauce, garnished with Cheese & bacon). The Mac Daddy (Creamy mac and cheese with a cheddar, jack, and parmesan cheese blend, garnished with Panko bread crumbs). So whats the verdict? The Mac Daddy was my least favorite. In comparing the other two, the Roadside Burger seemed to have the higher of (inside filling/inside bread) ratio, as compared to the El Sabroso. However, the latter is the most attractive bun on the outside and overall, contains a good mix of flavors and slight kick. Any food with a visible Jalapeño is a magnet, for me. Still, this concoction needs more of the egg mixture, to achieve the right balance. In general, all 3 buns were soft, had a nice texture, bread taste and chew. Service here is warm, inviting, friendly and informative.
