We have been wanting to try this location despite what our neighbors experiences have been. They said the power goes out, workers get their orders wrong, waits too long. My family wanted to try their cold treats and we had the time to wait in case it took a while. The lady taking orders was cordial and read back our order correctly. Then we drove to the window and waited about 7 minutes or so. Once she came to the window, she took the payment and showered us with our s'mores blizzard, Reese's blizzard, and peanut parfait. Over the last four years of living around here, I've been to this Dairy Queen many times. I have to say, it's actually gotten better over the last six months to a year. People that make my blizzard seem to put more effort into making sure everything's blended thoroughly so you're not just eating vanilla ice cream at the bottom. When the drive-through is long, you can wait for decent amount of time but then all of a sudden like five orders are ready at one time and you're at the window. In the end, it's probably just about as fast as Whataburger . Is it the greatest thing ever? No. It's a Dairy Queen. Like you people giving it one star need to rate it against other Dairy Queens. I'm sure you all go to a Waffle House and expect it to be beautiful inside or something. Whatever. We had a fun time eating here. They had crayons and coloring sheets to entertain the girls while we waited for our food. The hamburgers and chicken strips were good. Even our picky granddaughter liked the chicken and fries. The ice cream was awesome. The girls had confetti dip cones. They were messy but good. We had blizzards which are always good. I think tortoises can work faster than the people that work here. I also think apes would have a better shot of getting my order CORRECT - I ordered 3 small items. Had to wait over 15 minutes and drive through and I wouldve been robbed 1 item if i didnt check the bag because after 15 minutes of making my food they STILL only gave me two things and I had to go back inside to get my third item. We showed up and pulled up to the drive thru speaker at about 945/950. We didnt get our order taken or anything said to us until about 10:05. The least they could do is tell us, "oh just give us a minute please" but they just ignored us. We even saw a person putting chairs on tables and not doing anything else inside the lobby the WHOLE time we were waiting. There were 3 girls working, 2 blondes wearing black tshirts, and a brunette wearing a red tshirt. We came to get blizzards at 9:30pm, was ignored at the speaker for 10 minutes. Had one of the girls stare at us multiple times with the headset on making comments to the other girls while not taking our order. We ended up just going to the window and giving them our order there. The entire time they had an attitude with us while we were ordering due to us being ignored at the speaker for 10 minutes while they were walking around the store. Once we started to get our blizzards we said thank you as we got the first one and was told "yup" with a nasty attitude as she walked away. When we got the 3rd blizzard we were trying to say thank you again and to have a nice night and the window was slammed shut in our faces.This is not the type of service we expect from DQ. Went to the DQ and was in hope for warm and nice customer service but didn't get any. The lady on the drive-thru headset was very rude. I was starting to order, and she interrupted me rudely, saying she couldn't hear me, so we said it louder, and she still couldn't hear. So we then get louder, and she's just quiet on the other end, not saying anything to let us know she got the order or anything. We pull up to the window, and she doesn't say anything to us. But she's making my order, and she's throwing glove boxes and banana peels, being nonprofessional. She gives the headset to a younger lady, and we can see that she has an AirPod already in her ear. So yeah, no wonder she can't hear; she's already occupied with something else. I give the young lady my card, and she tries to get the card to work. It's an old card, and most cards have this malfunction when they don't want to work. I get this everywhere and know of others that have the same problem with their cards, so I'm telling the younger lady what she has to do; the older lady that took my order tells out and says she's already swiped the card three times and gives a nasty look. At this point, Dairy Queen needs to really work on who they allow to work at the place because if you're going to work in customer service, you need to have the attitude for it. The inside is locked but apparently you can eat inside if you're friends with the workers because we can see tables of kids eating but they lock the door so people can't come in. Clean restroom and like the updated flooring. Not sure why this location has the Orange Julius cups when they don't offer that option to the customers. Love the steak fingers and the jalitos. If I could give this location no stars, I would. 20 minutes in the drive thru waiting on a single chicken basket, on a Friday night. We sat there and watched a fully staffed fast food place do nothing but talk, stock napkins, and wander around behind the counter when multiple cars and people inside the restaurant were waiting on their orders. When we finally did get our food, the lady working the drive thru shut the window on us as we were trying to give them some helpful feedback. Messed up a pretty easy order, made it all the way back home and then they tell me I have to bring the food all the way back with receipt. I have no problem bringing the receipt back but I just drove 30 minutes to get food. Really? I'm glad I'm not the only one who has issues with this place. 20 mins for an order of 3 steak finger baskets, triple burger meal, jalitos, and a box of dilly bars (drive thru order). The meals were as expected. Jalitos were very disappointing. Didn't even receive the dilly bars (2nd time for this to happen). I walked in and waited almost 10 minutes before someone came to the counter to take my order. I thought he was asking for my order only for him to point at his drive thru order mic. Then I had to wait a couple of more minutes to finally place my order. I asked for mayo instead of mustard on my burger. I had mustard and didn't realize until i had taken a few bites. Of course after I ordered it was another 10 minutes to get my food. I dined in and inside was not busy. The store was dirty. The base of the counter looked like it was growing mold on it.
