Our experience today was great! Food hot and fresh. Store and restroom clean. The service was friendly and polite.

I stopped to get a medium banana split blizzard and boy was the top 3% of the blizzard the best tasting blizzard, just like I remember. However, after about four-five scoops the blizzard fell bland. All the toppings just disappeared! I had over 3/4 of a medium cup of just their soft served ice cream. Not what I paid for. The two-star rating was for the chocolate sundae and medium dipped I cream cone I ordered for my kiddos. Theirs looked good. read more

I went for their fish basket. It was delicious. I get a must have fish fix on a regular basis and now I have a new place. What this review is really about is an employee named Andrea. I am old and crippled and whenever she sees me get out of my truck she can't get there fast enough to carry me into shop. She gets me to my table and then goes back to the cash register and takes my order. She hand delivers everything and checks on me regularly and I feel like I am in a full service restaurant. If I were still a member of the working world i would love to have her on my staff. read more

Arrived at 10:30pm in the drive through and no one answered the speaker. Someone stuck their head out and i saw an employee with a headset on but no one answered while i sat there looking at them. The only reason I'm taking the time to review a DQ is in the hopes that the manager reads this. We stopped by on our way back from vacation hoping to grab lunch to go. It was obvious that the kids behind the counter were overwhelmed. They were nice enough but i only counted three employees. The couple in front of us gave up waiting for their second order of fries, and the first order was burnt to a crisp (why would you even give a customer burnt fries?). Our order took forever, and I could tell the cook was working on one meal at a time. The staff looked like they were moving in slow motion. I ended up walking out on half my order because we were in a rush. The worst part: A group of really dirty looking young adults (20s?) were just hanging out. They had large backpacks and didn't appear to have a vehicle. They would walk out of the store, talk to each other out by the dumpster, and walk back in. They weren't really eating anything, so I'm not even sure if they were paying customers. The whole thing was shady given their appearance and behavior. A good manager would have asked them to leave. Always Quick & Friendly service at this location! On normal visit we stick to Blizzards, Sundaes, or the ever-famous Peanut Parfait! Either one of those 3.... Hit the spot every time! We were driving back home in our RV from a recent mini vacay and decided a Blizzard would really hit the spot. We had to exit onto Frontage Road and go over to other side of 35. Once there, my hubby started to go inside and purchase them, when we found out that we were locked outside because of poor staffing. So, we tried going through the Drive Thru, but our RV would have scraped the overhead ... so my hubby got as close as he could to the order board BUT he was ignored there. The 5 customers in front of us were all served but he still hadn't been acknowledged ... not even with anything verbal that we could hear. We were going to just pull up to the window and order there ... as we got there, we saw and heard the employee waiting on the car behind us as soon as they pulled up. Unable to get to the window because of the barriers ... we ended turning around and leaving! I bet we are able to find any number of places that would be more than glad to take our money!!! I ordered a cheeseburger and a steak sandwich. I got home and there were two cheeseburgers in the bag. I have been to this particular DQ several times and there is almost always something screwed up in the order. The last time I had gone there I had called in an order and when I arrived at the time they said it would be ready but it was not yet ready. I was told to park and they would bring it out to me. After 15 minutes I called the store to ask where my food was and someone picked up the phone and laid it down. After 5 minutes with no one coming on the line I finally went into the store ( I was in my pajamas and didn't want to go inside!) and there was a young man leaning against the counter with his back to the door playing on his phone. He turned around and acted surprised to see me. I asked about my order and it was on the counter getting cold. Someone from the back yelled at him that he was supposed to take the order out to me. And these people want $15+ an hour?!? Btw, the cheesburger/steak sandwich mistake happened after I had already gone to Sonic where my order was messed up and I cancelled it to go to DQ where my order got messed up the second time. I did not have a pleasant experience at this Dairy Queen. For one, their location going through the drive through is not safe and orderly for visitors. I ordered a Cheesecake Bizzard and when I approached the window to get my order, the woman goes, "You had the number 2?" I informed her no, that was not correct. She then informs me that she didn't receive my order. They need to train their employees to complete a simple job. read more

It took over 20 minutes just to get to order at the drive-thru. I had a Hooked coupon (an app that offers local deals) and they told me to wait to order until I got to the window. I have used Hooked deals at other drive-thrus and never had a problem. Normally Dairy Queen's are pretty efficient but not this one. We just left this location. This was the first time we have been to this location. From the moment we walked in we saw smiling faces. The customer service was great. We were greeted and checked on a few times. Our icecream was presentable and delicious. These a younger kids working here so I hate to say it I was surprised at how good the service was. Visited on June 12, 2018 7:00pm. I just stopped in there to get a Jurassic Chomp to end a long, hot day. I was a regular customer who stopped in there 2-3 times a month while traveling home to Canyon Lake from work in Austin. Tonight, I waited at the empty front counter for about 5 minutes hoping someone would acknowledge my presence. The two people in the kitchen saw me thru the pass thru window but said nothing as they continued their more important conversation as opposed to saying "hi, someone will be right with you". The lady really wasn't cooking or doing much of anything else except conversing with another employee. Their were also two employees sitting down in the restaurant, with a clear view to the front counter, I guess taking a break( although at 7:00 pm one would think 2 employees would not take a break at the same time). They both looked over my way but no acknowledgement as well. Even as they saw I was clearly agitated as I was walking out of the restaurant, shaking my head, they just continued to sit there. Really poor management at this location. Not my first poor work ethic experience from their employees but tonight was my last visit Train your employees that your customers pay their checks and provide profit to your restaurant. Drive thru has a giant bump in the road, they get the order wrong all the time, and they don't shut off their sign or menu when they close, so even when there are still people inside and everything is on and running, they could already be closed. read more

There isn't a "no star" rating so one star it is. Our scout troop stopped for lunch on the way home from camp. Their grill was broken, but they never told us. They microwaved the hamburgers and hot sandwiches. My sandwich was made incorrectly (food allergy related) and when I asked for a refund they said no. They remade the sandwich by just taking off the bun with cheese on it, adding new bread, and microwaving the sandwich yet again which dried out the meat. Completely disgusting! Stick to ice cream DQ. Our scouts said you did that well. Get some customer service. Tell people when your equipment is broken!! read more
