Sweet Reads has a wonderful blend of new and used books and art, including featured works by Minnesota authors and artists. They also have an assortment of novelty candies and ice creams. The two most wonderful features of this book store is the Berenstain Bears Museum, which was gifted by a local collector and certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest in the world, and the wonderful staff here.

The food is quite good. There was just a hint of perhaps stale grease in the French fries, but overall, they along with my burger were fine. The menu is large for this type of establishment. It was a weekday evening and the place was about half full, which is probably a good sign, considering the fact it was a weekday and there are several other restaurant choices within a mile. Bowling leagues for the evening were yet to start and I would guess the place gets busier at that time. Service was quite fast and the staff was friendly. The place was clean. I used the restroom, which is part of the locker room area and it was clean too. It has been a long time since I was in the bowling/game area and I could not help how this place seemed quite modern, and yet somehow interestingly retro too. I like the look. I would return to the restaurant again and might just have to try to bowl a game or two.

If you are in town, this shop is a must try during a hot day but they are only open seasonally so keep an eye out on their social media for updated hours!
