Great experience! The employees were very friendly and efficient and the ice creams were delicious.

Perfectly fine Dairy Queen, still has the old style building! No drive through, but staff was quick and polite.

Fast forward to this time... what happened?? Last year the chicken sandwich had a thick, juicy chicken breast/patty. This time? They literally threw a chicken tender on my sandwich. And I know it was a tender because my friend ordered chicken tenders, and they looked exactly the same... except hers were BIGGER than the one on my sandwich. Be serious. The lettuce was one sad, soggy, pale little piece fighting for its life. Not crisp. Not fresh. Just... present. Like it clocked in but didn't want to be there. The Yas sauce wasn't nonexistent, but they were definitely stingy with it. I had to add ranch because it just wasn't hitting. The fries weren't even crunchy. Just cold and hard like they had beef with me personally. Not crispy. Not warm. Just... stale with attitude. The mac and cheese tasted like it came straight out of a Kraft box. No personality. No flavor. Not even vibes. The drink was also mid. It didn't save the meal. And before anyone says "maybe they were closing", we ordered at 6PM. They close at 9. Oh, and the grand finale? Food poisoning. Both of us throwing up within an hour of eating. The chicken was dry, and apparently also dangerous. Now that's talent. What happened?? The quality drop needs to be studied. Definitely not coming back.

The only…read moresmall hiccup was that my name was spelled wrong, so when my name was called it took me a while to realize they were calling my name, but everything else was fine. The place wasn't busy when we arrived so we were able to have a conversation and hear each other, but by the time we left it was packed so it did start to get a little overwhelming. The interior is simple and casual, classic fast food vibe, it's comfortable for a quick, easy meal. I love booths so I was happy they had a variety of options. My son loves their chicken, so this was a must visit for his birthday!

Recently this year I was reintroduced and my wife tried it for the first time in Vegas during our honeymoon. Since my family trips down south they have expanded much closer to Maine thankfully with this one being one of the closest. Due to needing to be nearby we decided to swing by Canes before our other stop. Ambiance and overall vibe is the typical fast food establishment you would expect. It was just as good tasting as it was in Vegas, my wife and I believe some of the best fast food chicken. The breading is so good and the chicken itself so juicy. Minimal people inside so we got our food in record time, almost no wait. My wife went with their three piece combo while I got the four piece. The only knock compared to our Vegas experience of canes were the fries could have been salted a little more here. Overall though, if you have yet to try Raising Canes then give it a try! They only do chicken tenders but they do them extremely well! Also can't forget to mention the sweet tea, that is also a favorite of my wife. While I enjoy all tea I often lean towards unsweetened but she loves the southern sweet tea. Look forward to the day Raising Canes finally reaches Maine but for the time being this spot will do for the occasional visit!

When we were in the process of losing our soul mate of a dog to lung cancer they would go above and beyond for our random orders and would always try to bring a smile to our face when we would pick it up. She wouldn't eat so we would call & ask for plain unseasoned grilled chicken or just bacon or whatever it was they always helped us out. Her last meal was bacon on the beach (her favorite place). Thank you for the amazing service.

Ya know, I once navigated to this place on accident before? Yeah. Still not sure what my GPS was…read moredoing that day. Because I normally go to the one in Salem. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
