My first time at this Dairy Queen location. There's ample parking. The line was long but moved at a decent pace. I got a small of their new flavor with different cookies and my partner got a large of the cookie dough. The size difference from a large to small is significant. So don't get a large if you're not prepared to eat all of it. They were tasty. You can sit down at a few of the round tables but most people took theirs to go or ate in their cars. They offer DoorDash services I wish they put the full menu on the door as there were some options I wasn't aware of as a first timer and would have probably chosen something else if I knew they served other varieties of ice cream. read more

Heard about this Canadian chain from a friend and thought of trying it. I went for Royal choco brownie blizzard with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream quantity was good even in a small cup. Felt sympathy for the staff though! There was only one and was handling the people. Hats off to her, wish the outlet adds atleast one more staff member to assist! read more

UPDATE:I have heard from the owner who was very upset upon hearing the actions of her employees and has apologized to us and states she will look into the matter more in depth. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They refused service to my boyfriend and myself just because he was in uniform. He is a Correctional Sergeant for the state of NJ. Terrible service and the employees are unprofessional and rude. Employees kept glaring and they were definitely laughing and talking about my boyfriend and I as they closed the window. I went to this location in my law enforcement uniform. Staff refused to open window or take my order. Stood on line for 15 minutes. 4 people behind me. When I tapped on glass they walked to back of machine. Management replied to my review saying they didn't take my order for 15 min because they were charging register tape. But refuse to acknowledge that window snapped open for people behind me while I was still in ear shot. I guess management also has an ax to grind against law enforcement. I visited this place Friday evening 9/2/22 around 6:30pm and asked the teenage girl working there for a medium birthday cake. She went to the back for a long time and returned with a blizzard cake since it was all they had. I said fine I'll take it and she went to the back for a long time again to get pricing. She returned and asked for $53. I've bought many birthdays and blizzard cakes and I know that's not the price. I even looked up pricing DQ website. The girl said she called her boss and got the price and also prices vary from one DQ to another....... ???? She then hid in the back and had her coworker look out the window until I left. I went to the DQ in Clark and bought the same cake for $30. Went to the Rahway location in NJ for a raspberry fudge brownie blizzard. Expected to be like the picture of it. Received something not even close to it. Was supposed to have brownie chunks and raspberry fruit and choc chip pieces. What I got was vanilla ice cream with a few little pieces of choc chips in it with some raspberry SEEDS. What a rip off for 6 bucks! So disappointed in it. Don't know if this is just this location or not, they should be ashamed of themselves! This is a great little DQ for those hot nights when you need an ice cream fix. I wish I knew the manager's name because she is phenomenal - especially considering how young she is. If you would like poor service from teenagers who think they are funny you can visit this Dairy Queen. We were served a hot fudge Sunday without walnuts that we asked for nicely. When asked to go put them on she went back and put one on thinking she was being funny. We went back and asked for more and they kept laughing. I also received a blizzard that was more like soup! They messed up the order twice charged me for medium cups but gave me small cups than our order was 2 different of the upside down filled blizzards royal cheesecake and the choco which came with no filling in neither when they quickly tried to remake the order they messed up. It was only me and another lady in line who was pissed that they handled her cone with no napkins and without the paper around it. The black girl was rude and ignorant and was slamming the window shut in our faces and acting as if she was the manager and the other girl working with her was trying to make the situations right but the black girl was intimidating her to go with what she said. I am at DQ in Rahway. Just ordered a Hot Fudge Sundae. After eating maybe 3 bites of the vanilla icecream, I try the hot fudge, I realize it is SYRUP. Go back to the window to find a very young person who I explain the situation to. I ask for the MGR. This person tells me he or she is the MGR. I asked is they carried both syrup and hot fudge and this person said yes. I obviously got the syrup by mistake. But due to the fact I ate 3 bites of the icecream, this person would not give a refund to me nor make the sundae for me that I had ordered. I said I don't jump in the syrup, I had just noticed it. This condescending person had ZERO customer service! My opinion: GO ELSEWHERE. . Again my opinion, but this young person should not be in charge of anything, poor customer service. I will spend my money elsewhere. Really, it is ice cream, make the customer happy if you made an error! Don't swindle the $3.50 I paid, or whatever the cost was....
